Every crew needs a good leader… apparently ours has... four legs. 🐐🔥 While working on the Rock Creek Fire, our firefighters got an unexpected escort from a very determined goat who led them toward the fire area and helped with some fuel mitigation along the way. We’re not saying he’s ready for a badge… but we’re also not saying he isn’t. 😂show more

Just adding his explanation for why he opened everything!... 😂 Also have to add: we’re not mad. He’s a good kid, and it’s a story we’ll tell for the rest of our lives.show more

Imagine thinking Ed Sheeran is the villain here. Macklemore... has a whole music video slamming Trump, Elon, and Jews while comparing the West Bank to the Holocaust, says “fuck ICE,” and acts like he’s some moral savior. Let’s also not forget Macklemore is the trashbag who led a chant saying “fuck America” while putting on a Palestine concert in Seattle. He should’ve been canceled years ago. He’s trash and always has been.show more

Good Wednesday morning, my sweet X friends! ☕️❤️We’re halfway... there! And it’s World Elephant Day! 🐘 Apparently saying “Good Morning” hurts my numbers and the algorithm. At 9:52 a.m. Saturday, the FDNY received a report... of a fire at 132-17 41st Road in Queens. Upon arrival, units encountered two buildings fully involved in fire with extension to a third building. "Our engine companies moved in with multiple handlines in all of these buildings—very aggressively, very deliberately," Chief of Fire Operations Kevin Woods said. "Many lives are saved by the proper positioning of hoselines." With a report of people trapped, members from Rescue 4 got above the fire on the second floor of the main fire building and rescued an occupant. They made the rescue under high heat and in zero visibility without the protection of a hoseline. There was a total of 21 injuries—17 firefighters and two EMS members suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Two civilians were also injured and transported to area hospitals. More than 250 firefighters and EMS members responded to the 5-alarm fire, which was placed under control at 1:47 p.m. The cause remains under investigation.show more

Fan Allen caught the crash of Florian Lipowitz on... video… unfortunately, he had to abandon, although he also looked really good in the TT. Apart from that, Remco still looks very good, and he has a very big gap on 3rd place. Del Toro rode a very good TT and lost just a few seconds to Seixas, and the surprise of the day was Skjelmose, who now targets the top 5 overall. Ayuso is still fifth, but he does not look very good. #TDF2026show more

These two women were visiting the fire department in... NYC and wanted a tour. The firefighters were gracious for the public outreach and obliged. The women tried on some of the pieces of the uniform and then danced and had fun while touring the fire station and checking out the fire trucks. People who saw the video were outraged and claim that this is inappropriate and that they should not have been allowed to do this. Do you see anything inappropriate with what they did?show more

🚨Jamie Carragher on Bruno Guimarães’ £75m move from Newcastle... to Arsenal: I’ve got no problem with Bruno Guimarães as a Premier League player. He’s solid, he’s got energy, he can dictate a midfield on a good day. But let’s not pretend this is some transformative signing for Arsenal. They’re handing Newcastle £75 million for a 28-year-old who has never lifted a major trophy and has never been the difference-maker at the absolute highest level. That’s not elite business. That’s Arsenal doing what Arsenal do — overthinking, overpaying, and stacking another ‘good’ player on top of a midfield that already has depth instead of solving the real problems. And the irony is beautiful, isn’t it? Remember when Bruno literally laughed at Arsenal’s interest in that Newcastle unveiling video? He sat there smirking while the whole thing was filmed. Now the same club is transferring £75m of their own money straight into Newcastle’s bank account for him. That’s not a transfer. That’s poetic justice. Newcastle win twice: they get the cash and they get the last laugh. This doesn’t elevate Arsenal. It just adds another body. Classic Arsenal. They already have enough midfielders who can control games against mid-table sides. What they still don’t have is that proven winner who flips the biggest matches. Guimarães is very good. He’s not that player. And at that price, with that age profile, it’s a soft, expensive way of papering over the cracks instead of fixing them.”show more
