Apple celebrates its 50th birthday next week, which is... a reminder that “Forrest Gump” has Hollywood’s best angel investment ever: Gump and Lt. Dan early in Apple. They get to Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak before the April 1976 launch and prior to first official $250k check from Mike Markkula, who briefly owned 1/3rd of Apple for his investment. That would value at Apple at $750k. Since Gump and Lt. Dan were unsophisticated shrimp guys instead of tech investors, they probably got pinched on valuation by Jobs and paid $100k for 10% of Apple. Even though there were many people around, Nong Orm gave her all during the 1v20 photoshoot. She had taken off her contact lenses, and since she’s very nearsighted, she kept squinting and trying to see what fans were holding in their hands — not just once, but several times. But what I thought was most ridiculous was when he said there was no probable cause to search Brian Albert's house, despite the fact that John O'Keefe was invited there and was found dead on Albert's lawn. I know how ridiculous that is because Brian Tully got a judge to sign a search warrant for my house, and the probable cause was that I did a YouTube show in my house, and supposedly there would be more witness intimidation inside the house, as if it's a bloody knife or DNA. If there was just a dead cop on my lawn they'd leave me alone. The police searched every inch of my house and took over 300 pictures.
