I was struck by his soulful eyes and earnest face. I called him Elf as he was a little Christmas fox that appeared just before the holidays. He did not belong to the previous cemetery fox clan but got lucky when they had abandoned their territory and this golden ticket of foxy real estate was up for grabs. Elf had been an itinerant fox before, roaming the streets with no set territory of his own. He moved into the cemetery, brought his vixen Eliza around and together they reared their 4 cubs there successfully. Elf is a fantastic fox dad and I am so honoured to be is guardian and support him and his family. I am hopeful that he will be able to keep his precious territory and that he and Eliza will rear the next generation of cemetery foxes next spring.show more

Bernoulli was THRILLED to have his buddy home and... Brix was so happy to see his giant friend. Brix seems to be doing just fine, but last night was scary. He started vomiting uncontrollably and crying shortly after his supper. Thankfully, the xrays showed he ate his food too fast and was a bit backed up which was an uncomfortable mix. We were told that it was good we brought him in- puking more than 4 times in a row isn’t great and the little man was on number 9 by the time he got into the pet emergency.
