"Pick" pressures are an excellent way to attack protections... from mugged fronts. Here, the Gators target Miami's left Guard. The mugged LB works to the near hip of the Guard while the D-linemen step vertically to get the lineman in position. Once the LB makes contact, the DL will wrap. The goal is to get a 2-for-1 on the LB and create an alley to the QB. Interestingly, it's usually the "pick man" that comes free in these types of pressures. Natasha Howard on the double personal foul between Cotie... McMahon and herself “Just got tangled up, boxing out, that’s all” On Cheryl Reeve’s loud support of her after the play that ended in a tech “When you have a coach that will have your back, then you have they back too. The All-22 shows why Will Howard’s 2nd INT is... more on Roman Wilson than it is on his QB. Will does a good job going through his progressions and when he makes the decision to throw to Roman, he’s running away from his defender. It’s a good read. If Roman just keeps it flat, it’s probably Will’s 2nd best rep of the night. Instead, it’s a 2nd INT on his box score… #HereWeGo #Steelersshow more

Carlton Davis on the future for the #Patriots: “You... got Drake Maye. You got coach Vrabel. That’s a great start to any organization. From there, just keep building. Keep putting the right pieces together. Keep working and you guys will see us soon.” - CLNS Media Boston Sports Networkshow more

Rob Gronkowski on #Patriots OC Josh McDaniels comparing him... and AJ Brown: “AJ Brown uses his body to get open as well, and that’s how I got open a lot. I was never really running by guys. I used my body, blocked out guys, and Tom [Brady] will put the ball where only I can go up. And that’s the same with AJ Brown. That’s probably what Josh McDaniels sees in him… AJ Brown’s always open because he’s such a big body guy and he’s got great hands.” (🎥 Up & Adams)show more

Spencer Pratt just dropped a truth bomb today on... 𝕏 on why he’s running for LA Mayor: “I got in this race because Karen Bass let my entire town burn down while drinking in Ghana.” The reality star lost his home in the Pacific Palisades fire — and he’s not letting Mayor Bass off the hook. Many normal Angelenos lost their homes too. Los Angeles needs a leader who will prevent this from ever happening again. That’s why Pratt is running. That’s why I support him. I believe he’ll make LA a place people will want to visit again. (Video: AI)show more

Good evening from Windsor! Tomorrow, the Gordie Howe bridge... will have its Canada only ribbon cutting ceremony, where organizers have asked people coming to wear red and white to show Canadian pride. Infrastructure Minister Gregor Robertson will represent Ottawa and Premier Doug Ford will be here for Ontario but no Americans will be in attendance. US Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra previously told me he was planning on coming along with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, before they were uninvited after the 50% tariff threats. One thing I’ll be watching for is who else shows up, with multiple Canada-US stakeholders I talked with today saying they weren’t coming, despite being invited #cdnpolishow more

5 observations from the #Bengals local player workout: 1.... Jack Dingle was a 3-year starter at UC and has elite athleticism. His RAS score of 9.82 ranked 65th of 3,460 LB measured since 1987. Dingle had nearly 400 special teams snaps as a Bearcat, and knows that will be critical to his NFL chances. “That’s the number one thing,” he said. “Get on a team and start learning special teams right away. That’s very important to these coaches. I’ve talked to a lot of current NFL players and they say “Learn that kick-step on punt man. If you make the punt team, you’ll make the team.’”show more

‼️EXPOSED: Turning Point USA Is DESPERATELY Trying to REPLACE... Charlie Kirk — And It’s NOT Going to Work😡 Turning Point USA is getting ready to announce their new “Pick Up the Mic” tour, and word from insiders is that they’re now training people in mock debate tents because of the pressure we’ve been putting on them. They’ve even been mentioning us by name in their meetings. Yesterday they flew out a bunch of influencers to promote it, clearly hoping paid promotion will fix their image. At the center of this new push is an 18-year-old named Noah Coffin. He was the president of one of their largest America chapters, and they’re clearly grooming him to be the next face of the organization. He’s already doing tour stops debating students and posting videos telling people not to criticize Erika Kirk. He was even at TPUSA headquarters and on the Charlie Kirk Show set yesterday. The problem? He’s extremely PR-trained, and his engagement looks heavily botted. One of his recent videos has over a million views but only 5k likes — that’s not organic growth. This is what desperate rebranding looks like. Turning Point still doesn’t understand that Charlie Kirk was Turning Point. You can’t just slot in a new, polished 18-year-old and expect people to forget everything that’s happened. No amount of billionaire backing, paid influencers, or fresh faces is going to restore trust that’s already been destroyed. They’re living in fantasy land if they think they can rebuild their reputation by trying to manufacture the next Charlie Kirk. People are done with the lies, the gaslighting, and the controlled opposition. This is just the next chapter in their slow-motion collapse. ⚠️If you value our work and want to help us financially, your support is what helps us stay independent and keep the lights on. UPDATE ON APPA: K9 Appa is on the road... to recovery after being shot during that armed standoff on August 4. The dog took rounds from the suspect who had pointed a gun at a deputy and fled after contacting kids in the area. Deputies finished the threat. Appa went into surgery fighting for his life. Now the update. He had two surgeries. His prognosis is good. He’s been released from the vet and is home recovering with his handler and family. The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office says they’re encouraged by his progress and remain hopeful. There’s even video of him walking around and crushing his breakfast. They say he’s got a long road still, but they’re optimistic he’ll get back out there catching bad guys and finding dope. That’s the toughness these K9s bring. Appa did his job under fire and now he’s fighting through the recovery. Great job, Appa. Keep healing strong. H/t: Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unitshow more

A guy is up +$77,000 in just 1 month... trading the Cincinnati Open - and he’s now holding another position at 35.5¢ This trader created his account 64 days ago, but August has been a completely different level for him The Cincinnati Open has turned him into a seriously profitable trader Here are some of his previous positions: → Anisimova beat Eala at 43.7¢ | +$26,160 → Cobolli beat Paul at 27.5¢ | +$20,390 → Tiafoe beat Auger-Aliassime at 36.1¢ | +$15,520 All three were bets on underdogs and all three turned out to be excellent decisions What I find interesting is that he keeps finding value on players the market is underestimating And today, he’s doing it again His acive position: → Bejlek beat Keys at 35.5¢ | $5,500 If Bejlek wins, the trader will lock in around $10K in profit I’m also taking his side on this one Bejlek is a big underdog, but at 35.5¢ the market is giving her a much better chance than the odds might suggest After the results he has produced throughout this Cincinnati Open, this is definitely a position worth watchingshow more
