YOUTH ZONE Having coached youth for a while now,... playing Zone is the ultimate cheat code. Players can’t pass far enough or shoot from distance enough to effectively beat a zone. To me, it’s a waste of time playing against a zone in youth basketball. Although I do understand some coaches doing it bc it is easier to put in. I actually like pressing man to man for portions of the game bc it makes players develop how to handle the ball and pass against pressure, as well make faster decisionsshow more

There’s two kinds of traders. The one that is... able to walk away and the one that revenge trades. Overtrading kills more accounts than anything else. I used to be this way, getting angry that price wasn’t going my way and pushing the button again and again until I blew up all my accounts. It takes a lot of inner work, but believe me it’s worth it to work on not just your strategy and executions, but your mental game as well. Being able to walk away from the screen before it’s too late is a real skill set to work on. Don’t be the guy that revenge trades. Strategies that worked for me: 1. Writing down my game plan at the start of the morning. As long as I followed my plan, it’s a win. 2. Having pictures of family on my trading desk. Trading for others and not just yourself is important, it keeps you grounded. 3. Having alarms go off on my phone at the end of the session to bring me back to reality and remind me to walk away.show more

Introducing Attio Objects 🚀 We know how hard... it is to find a CRM that fits your unique business model. That's why we built Attio Objects – our powerful data model with custom objects that gives you complete flexibility to structure your CRM exactly how you need it. Along with custom objects, we've also introduced new standard objects: - Workspaces and Users objects for PLG businesses. - A robust Deals object for sales-driven companies. This is the culmination of a 4-year effort, with 3 years of work put in even before launching Attio. Since day one, we've been determined to solve the fundamental problem in the CRM space: the trade-off between power and time-to-value. If you wanted power and flexibility, your CRM would take forever to build and not work well with your stack. If you wanted speed, you'd need to use highly opinionated, inflexible software that doesn't really work for your business. That ends today. With Attio, you no longer have to compromise. Build your CRM your way, fast. Iterate as you grow. High-growth startups like Replicate, , and Modal and more are already using Attio's object architecture to perfectly match their businesses and accelerate their growth. Stop trading time for rest. Start using light for... recovery. The biggest mistake athletes make in 2026? Thinking "recovery" only happens while you’re asleep. What I’m holding here is a Photobiomodulation (PBM) device—and the data behind it is a total game changer for anyone trying to stay on the field and out of the doctor's office. THE SCIENCE OF THE "BIO-HACK": Most recovery tools just mask pain. PBM actually repairs tissue at the mitochondrial level. Here’s the data-driven truth on how it works: 1️⃣ The Mitochondrial Battery: Red and Near-Infrared light photons are absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase. This triggers a massive spike in ATP production (cellular energy), effectively "supercharging" your body’s ability to repair micro-trauma in half the time. 2️⃣ Inflammation Shutdown: PBM dissociates Nitric Oxide from your mitochondria, allowing oxygen to flood back into the tissue. Result? A 50% reduction in DOMS and faster clearance of metabolic waste. 3️⃣ The Ergogenic Edge: Running this over a non-injured muscle before a workout increases muscle workload capacity and fatigue resistance. It’s essentially a legal "biological cheat code" for endurance. THE DATA 📊: Injury Recovery: Speeds up soft tissue healing by up to 2x. Performance: Studies show a measurable increase in power output and reps to failure when used as a "pre-conditioning" tool. Safety: Non-invasive, drug-free, and now the "Gold Standard" in professional locker rooms from the NFL to Special Forces. Stop waiting for your body to heal itself slowly. Use the light. 💡 Save this for your next rehab session and share with an athlete who is tired of being sidelined.show more

AgentLinter is here! Is your agent sharp & secure?... I built AgentLinter, a linter for and agent config files. Here's why. Whether you're vibe-coding or agent-coding, your AI's output quality comes down to one thing: how well you wrote your But managing these files properly? Way harder than it looks. 🎯 The Silent Failure Problem Vague instructions like "write good code" let the agent interpret however it wants. Output gets inconsistent, but nothing throws an error. The failure is silent. Anthropic's own docs say write "Use 2-space indentation" not "Format code properly." But as the file grows, spotting these with your eyes alone is nearly impossible. 🔐 The Security Problem People hard-code API keys and tokens directly into or and commit them, way more often than you'd think. AgentLinter stats show 1 in 5 workspaces has exposed credentials. .gitignore doesn't catch secrets buried inside markdown files. 💥 The Consistency Problem Multiple config files = contradictions. says "be a friendly assistant," says "concise, direct tone." The agent gets confused. references files that don't exist. Past 5 files, these conflicts triple. So I thought: is code. Code has ESLint. Why doesn't this have a linter? 🔍 What AgentLinter Does It diagnoses your agent config across 8 categories: 1) Structure: file organization 2) Clarity: instruction specificity 3) Completeness: missing definitions 4) Security: exposed secrets 5) Consistency: cross-file contradictions 6) Memory: session handoff 7) Runtime Config: gateway/auth settings 8) Skill Safety: dangerous shell commands & injection patterns Each scored 0–100 with concrete fix suggestions. Write "be helpful" and it tells you to specify response length, tone, and format. Find an API key? Instant CRITICAL alert to rotate. 🔒 Privacy-First & 100% Local Everything runs on your machine. Files never leave. Only the results are shared, and you can turn that off in settings. This matters — these files can contain system prompts, security rules, and personal context. Fully open source, MIT license, 100% free. 🛠️ Multi-Tool Support Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and Clawdbot. Detects for project mode, or clawdbot.json for agent mode and adjusts diagnostics automatically. 🚀 Get Started with one line npx agentlinter Node.js 18+, no config needed. Run it, check your score, fix what needs fixing. Happy vibe-coding & happy agent life! 🤙 Website: Github:show more

On the second day of recruiting myths… Myth #2:... “The name on the front of your jersey doesn’t matter.” There is some truth here. But people usually say this to make you feel better if you’re not on a team in the “recruiting bubble.” And yes of course there are always outliers. If you’re Montana Fouts, you could show up playing for the Butterflies and coaches would still be lined up drooling at the fence. But for most of us? The jersey does matter. Especially if you don’t have true 5-star size or can’t blow people away with elite metrics. I know this because I’ve been on both sides of it. Same player. Same work ethic. Completely different response from coaches. Why does the jersey matter more than people admit? First impressions. If a coach doesn’t recognize your club as one that consistently produces players at their level, you have to overwhelm them with performance and numbers just to get the same look. What matters even more than the jersey name is the coach attached to it. My last club, Rising, was brand new. But my coach, Steve Appel, had a lot of successful former players at top 25 programs. Coaches knew him. Trusted him. We were at the best fields and no one cared what was on the front of our jerseys. At my first tournament with that team, I saw more college coaches than I had in my entire recruiting journey before that. It’s true. College coaches aren’t recruiting a jersey. They’re recruiting you. But your jersey affects: •what fields you play on •who stops to watch •how risky you look on paper A well-known club with proven coaches comes with built-in credibility. Can you get recruited without that? Yes. I did. But if you’ve read my book, you know how many things had to line up for that to happen. So is there truth to this myth? Yes. But most of the time, when people say it, they’re trying to protect you from a harder truth: Recruiting isn’t just about how good you are. It’s also about who’s willing to vouch for you. And your jersey is a powerful indicator of that before a coach sees you even pick up a ball. #RecruitingRules Rule #6: The lifeblood of recruiting is relationships. And whether you like it or not, the front of your jersey is part of that. Photo Caption: Top image my OG team, AZ Steel after winning the Colorado Sparkler Supplemental Power Pool. Bottom image with steve appel after winning PGF Nationals. My original team eventually made it into the “recruiting bubble” the summer after I committed. We were a solid competitive team at the national club level, but having played for both, no one will ever convince me that my recruiting opportunities would have been the same regardless of which jersey I was wearing. Completely different worlds. I wouldn’t change my path. I ended up exactly where I always dreamed to be, and my path made me who I am, but in my case believing this myth for so long cost me time and my family money.show more

There’s been some confusion/comments about my use of the... phrase “pull the goalie” … so I’ll explain what it means, why I use it and why I think it’s the right starting point to use for defining urban Family Friendly housing Like from this clip from Marley and Me, it has simply meant a couple having sex, while being open to having kids. The word " trying" can feel really strange at first ... so it's just the shift from preventing a pregnancy to being willing for one to happen. And there’s a very big difference between getting pregnant and deciding to be willing to get pregnant. That difference is *key* when it comes both to designing housing and to making a City more family friendly. I know plenty of couples who have gotten pregnant immediately, like on the honeymoon. And for others it has taken years of ACTUAL trying (tracking cycles, having sex at specific times of day, hormones, IVF) ... and for some of our friends despite all efforts it just has not happened. Only God knows when or if a couple will have a baby. Babies truly are a miracle. (On a related note, Marley and Me is a beautiful movie in telling the story of wanting a family and losing a baby. My wife and I have lost children, so we know a *bit* of what the heartbreak of miscarriage is like) But the shift for a couple to become WILLING to have a baby is one of the core reasons people struggle to have kids in cities. If someone looks around their apartment and thinks, “There is no way we could raise a baby here,” then they’re less likely to stop using birth control. Your home has to feel like it could accommodate a baby. A "Baby Maybe" home: a second small bedroom or a tiny home office, that could have be a nursery in a pinch. It enables the small, almost subconscious, mental threshold where you say, “You know what … we’d be fine if this happened.” That’s the moment. And for each couple, there will be 1000 other things that go into the equation: Can we afford for 1 of us to stay home, or full-time childcare? Do we see other kids around us? Is it safe enough for kids? Are there parks nearby? Do we need to be closer to family and cousins? All will be different for each family, but they ALL require that their current home is sufficient to be able to have a kid Otherwise, as soon as a couple finds out they are pregnant ... they call their parents, friends and family and tell them the good news ... and then immediately look on Zillow to move right away so they aren't giving birth AND moving the same time. It's kind of a bummer in an otherwise wonderful magical moment. We've seen many many couples move out of the City at that exact period. "Well, since we are moving anyway, we might as well go to where we think we will live long term." But it doesn't need to be that. Babies are small. At least for the first year, if you have a place to put them you're probably better off just staying in your current place and then figuring things out later. Maybe you DO need to move to the suburbs or be closer to family or you want a house with a yard. But that decision doesn't need to be right away. TLDR: Family Friendly housing doesn’t begin at birth. It begins when a couple can imagine a child fitting into their current home ... whether that's a rowhome with tiny bedrooms or a 1BR+Den apartment.show more
