Over the past year I've been blessed to have my childhood character Roy the Demon go absolutely viral on social media with over 800m views. Unfortunately what came with that were many fake memecoins being made using my work and name. It honestly felt pretty weird and upsetting seeing other people profit off my art without me being involved in any capacity, not only for monetary reasons, but because my art is super important to me, and if I work on something I love to be 100% involved in all my creations. After thinking heavily on it, I decided the best move was to take ownership and control of my own work. I've been lucky to connect with some of the biggest people in the crypto space, a lot of them artists and brand builders who’ve successfully worked on their own IPs and products. Some even asked to get involved as advisors, which I'm now taking more seriously. I'm only bringing on people I trust and have similar goals in mind that I do. I met Anee Icha at the audition for Castle... and castle many years ago. Then we worked on the show where she played the crazy receptionist. While directing her, I realized she had great comedic timing and fantastic improv skill. So I told her, one day I’m going to write a crazy story about a very clumsy girl and you will star in it. Somehow we lost touch and I completely forgot. It didn’t happen till three years later when she ran into me at a supermarket. She reminded me that we still hadn’t made this our movie. Coincidentally I was looking for a story that will make us build an extensive set design and VFX just to show off the skills of my Anthill Studios team. That night, the idea for Casa de Novia came to me. I called up my trusted writer Weaver of stories and showed her clips of Anee and we wrote the film for her. I’m glad Anee is getting all the praises and I want to see her do more films like this. Clumsy girl comedy is a big hit potential and we need more crazy ideas in Nollywood.show more

The lesson here for the next generation in journalism; Reporting the NPFL & domestic football/sports can take you globally, don't allow people to condition your mindset wrongly. If your dream is to travel around the world and cover international tournaments, trust me you will make it. If you have a directive that is strictly to monetize your content/job without traveling for tournaments, trust me you will achieve it. Anything you dream of about your journey in journalism, domestic content will take you there. Yes, sports journalism especially reporting domestic football/sports is a struggle, most times the pace is slow, very slow, but with consistency and hard work, you will get to the top of your dreams. Think about collaboration, make friends and expand your reach. Don’t set a mindset of competition, content and reportage is wide and the space is wide enough to accommodate all of us. Be yourself best and not to your colleagues. Journalism rolls like Football, those 5,000 meters ahead of you today, trust me you will catch up one day. This is the reason why collaboration with your colleagues is the pathway of sustainability. Also, as a believer of Christ, I do preach to people and colleagues to be prayerful, ask God to crown their work, and ask Him for grace and mercy. Divine blessing is from God and not from humans. He has promised to bless our work and He will surely bless your work and dreams. LANDING PAGE AND BUILT THE SAME KIND OF SITE WITH CLAUDE CODE IN ONE AFTERNOON FOR LESS THAN $70 claude was not just writing code. it was doing the job of a designer, copywriter and frontend dev in one window. in 4 hours, one rough idea turned into the layout, color system, font choices, page sections and the full html/css/js build the real trick was the references. he gave claude 5 screenshots, made it ask 7 questions first, then pushed it toward one clear visual direction instead of accepting another generic ai-looking template the first version already looked solid. the second pass made it feel expensive: better typography, a darker palette, mobile cleanup, cursor effects, 6 micro-interactions and custom hero visuals his old workflow was burning $1,200 on design, $500 on frontend work and another $150 on small fixes every time he needed a new page. now the whole test costs less than $70 and the site still looks like something a $5,000 agency would ship the edge is not “ai builds websites.” the edge is that one person can now brief, critique, polish and launch in one afternoon without waiting 10 days for a designer to send version oneshow more

Life update 👀 Today is my last day Webflow.... I'm beyond proud of the work I did during my 3 years here, everything from designing & building Webflow University, helping create designs & visuals for our course lessons, making tons of illustrations for our keynotes, contributing to the new logo + rebrand & new designer UI last year, early explorations of AI in the product, and so much more. I truly leveled up my design/dev/illustration skills over the past few years, a big part in thanks to Sara Lundberg & McGuire Brannon constantly pushing me & my work, as well as getting to work along side of some of the most talented people I've ever met. I'm definitely going to miss my coworkers, but I'm also excited to explore some new projects I've been wanting to start.
