A disturbing interview with double murderer Jaime Osuna, who... was imprisoned for the 2011 murder of Yvette Pena. In 2019, Osuna decapitated and dissected the body of his cellmate, Luis Romero, with a makeshift knife. Using a razor-style blade attached to a handle, Osuna disfigured Romero, cutting out one of his eyes, chopping off one of his fingers and removing part of his ribs and slicing out part of his lung. He ultimately cut off his head. He also posed the body, slicing Romero’s face open on either side of his mouth to resemble an extended smile, according to an autopsy. Drugs, an illicit affair, and a brutal murder Cutting off his wife’s fingers one by one, beheading her, killing her brutally, and then stuffing the severed head into the fridge. Police recovered Riya Talukdar’s mutilated body inside the room. The husband had first cut off the head, wrapped it in polythene and kept it in the fridge. The rest of the body was lying next to the bed in the bedroom. Several packets of incense were recovered right beside the fridge. Police also seized a dao and several liquor bottles from the room. Killing his wife was not enough for Ramanuj Goswami. He sat beside the body and drank. On Saturday, during the day, he cooked rice and ate it next to his wife’s blood soaked body. He spent an entire day beside the beheaded corpse. The police investigation has also revealed that he had even planned to feed pieces of the body to dogs. Ramanuj has admitted to police that he smashed and destroyed both his own mobile phone and his wife’s. It has also emerged that on the day of the incident he got his hair cut and coloured at a salon. Ramanuj was also a drug addict. He had earlier spent nearly three months at a rehabilitation centre. This was not his first arrest. In 2019, during the lockdown, Ramanuj Goswami was arrested in an ATM theft case in Gauripur. His mother has been unable to accept what her son has done. She said it was unbelievable, that he shows respect even to strangers on the street, and that her son could never commit such a monstrous act. Riya Talukdar has an elder brother. According to Ramanuj’s mother, the brother does not live in Assam. The couple had not even completed a year of marriage. Riya, from Noonmati, and Ramanuj, from Gauripur, had begun their new life together this year. Before the wedding Ramanuj worked at a private firm. After marriage they moved into “Anjali Griha” in Bashishtapur, Beltola. Riya worked at a boutique in Fancy Bazar. Ramanuj had bought a new car and started driving for Uber and Rapido in Guwahati. Neighbours say there were violent quarrels between the two. Disagreements were frequent. On Saturday, neighbours heard the sounds of a terrible commotion. Cries drifted out from inside the house that day. The only voice the neighbours could hear was Ramanuj Goswami’s. Once the body began to smell, Ramanuj abandoned the house and fled. When police arrived, the flat door had not been latched. He had left it pressed shut with a sock wedged in place. He had already surrendered to Dispur police at Ganeshguri on Sunday night, and Hatigaon police have since taken custody and are continuing the interrogation. Parts of Riya’s body, in two polythene bundles, were sent to GMCH and the necessary procedures were completed. Puffy said he became concerned after seeing the woman climbing and dancing on a light post. However, he admitted that his response over the microphone was inappropriate and humiliating. “Concern for someone’s safety did not give me the right to insult her, embarrass her, or turn her into the subject of a joke,” he said. A married man has called out a woman named... Folakemi Victoria Martins after their private matter spilled onto social media. He said he met Folakemi on a platform on May 9, 2026, and told her from the beginning that he was married and was only there for fun and to see if he “still got his rizz.” He admitted that he betrayed his wife’s trust, saying he has already told his wife the truth and takes full responsibility for his actions. According to him, what happened between him and Folakemi was a “sneaky link” and never a relationship. He said he later became uncomfortable with the situation and tried to end communication with her. He said that after he stopped talking to her, she found his LinkedIn, got his email and sent him abusive messages before later apologising. He also claimed that they had consensual s€x once on August 1, but he told her afterwards that he did not want to sleep with her again. According to him, things became hostile after he stood his ground, with repeated calls and messages, an uninvited visit to his home and contact from her friend. He further said that burner accounts were later used to target and insult his wife. The man shared screenshots of their conversations which he says support his side of the story and claims he repeatedly asked Folakemi to stop contacting him. He insists they were never in a relationship and says he regrets the sexual encounter. He ended his statement by asking Folakemi to leave him, his wife and his family alone. He was the richest man in the world. At... 53, doctors reportedly told him he had less than a year to live. John D. Rockefeller had spent his life building an extraordinary fortune. By the late 19th century, he dominated the American oil industry and became one of the wealthiest people in history. Then his health collapsed. He suffered severe digestive problems, insomnia, physical weakness, and extreme anxiety. His once-powerful body seemed to be failing him. All the money he had accumulated could buy almost anything — except his health, or his peace of mind. Then Rockefeller began looking at his life differently. He realized that none of his wealth would follow him into the grave. So he turned increasingly toward philanthropy, giving enormous sums to education, medicine, scientific research, and public health. In 1913, he established the Rockefeller Foundation, which became one of the most influential philanthropic organizations in the world. And something remarkable happened. As he became more involved in charitable work, Rockefeller’s health improved. He began sleeping better, eating more normally, and enjoying life again. Instead of spending his remaining years waiting for death, he returned to work, family, golf, and giving. The man doctors had reportedly expected to die in his early fifties lived until the age of 97. Rockefeller eventually gave away enormous portions of his fortune, helping fund universities, medical research, public-health programs, and scientific institutions whose influence continued long after his death. His story is often remembered as a lesson about generosity: Wealth can provide comfort and power. It cannot guarantee a meaningful life. In 1499, Michelangelo overheard people crediting his greatest work... to someone else. He snuck into St. Peter's at night and carved his name on the sculpture. He regretted it immediately and never signed anything again for the rest of his life... He was 24 years old. The year before, a French cardinal had paid him 450 gold ducats to sculpt a statue for his own tomb. The contract had one strange clause: it had to be "the most beautiful work of marble in Rome, one that no living artist could better." Michelangelo had never completed a major public commission. He accepted anyway... He carved for two years from a single block of Carrara marble that he later called the most perfect stone he ever worked. What he produced was the Pietà: the body of Christ, lifeless, across the lap of his mother. When it was unveiled, visitors refused to believe a 24-year-old Florentine had made it. They credited the work to a more famous Lombard sculptor. So according to Vasari, Michelangelo slipped into the basilica with a chisel and carved his name in Latin across the sash running between Mary's breasts: MICHAELANGELUS BONAROTUS FLORENTINUS FACIEBAT. "Michelangelo Buonarroti, the Florentine, made this." Then he vowed never to sign another work. He kept that vow. Through the David. Through the Sistine Chapel. Through the dome of St. Peter's. Rex was found living on his own in the... hills outside Chico, California after the wildfires tore through that area in the fall of 2022. He came into an Animal Rescue badly underweight, with scars across his back, and so frightened that volunteers could barely get close. For almost two years he lived in the shelter, improving slowly but still flinching at sudden movements. The Chen family had been searching for their Australian Shepherd since the evacuation. Their ten-year-old son, Liam, never stopped believing they'd find him. He carried Rex's old stuffed duck toy in his backpack every single day. When the family finally got a match through a lost pet database and came to the shelter, Rex backed straight into the corner. Liam sat down on the floor without rushing and pulled that worn, faded duck out of his bag. Rex's whole body changed. His ears came up. His nose started working. He crept forward one step at a time until he was close enough to sniff the toy - and then he was on top of Liam, covering his face with kisses while Liam laughed and cried at the same time. Let's say this with all the letters: ADRIEN IS... AN ABUSE VICTIM. Gabriel abused and neglected him his entire life. Gabriel controlled him, manipulated him. He made Adrien believe that he loved him, only to punish him for his actions, making affection conditional on his behavior. He exposed him and allowed MILLIONS of people to have digital access to his body while he was a minor and without his consent (once again manipulating him by making his own freedom conditional). He emotionally restricted him, basically taking away his autonomy to freely experience his emotions. He deliberately caused him emotional distress whenever he took his anger out on him. He overworked him while he was a child who had just lost his mother (and without any explanation, that's for damn sure). He locked him in a 4x4 room without caring about his emotional well-being. And you know what? I don't care that these were deleted alternate timelines: he beat him multiple times, emotionally blackmailed him, and traumatized him just to force him into being akumatized. Now go ahead and tell me again that Adrien is stupid for this. Adrien is an abuse victim. It's insane that we have to repeat this so many times for people to actually see it. He's a kid who didn't even have time to process the fact that his father, his ABUSER, had died when suddenly everyone was applauding him for having "saved the world." Imagine KNOWING how much some asshole made you suffer, only to see everyone praise him and tell you they want you to be like him. Imagine starting to question whether YOU were the one who was wrong for thinking he wasn't a good person, and having that idea drilled into your head so much that it eventually overrides your own memories and beliefs. Tamale Mirundi was the kind of man you would... dislike, and at the same time look forward to listening to. He had many contradictions, swinging from one position to another and back. But wherever he stood at a time, he had that gift of the gab to make you feel like he had some point. He laboured to analyse. Much of his analysis was sophistic, and often opportunistic. But you had to be keen to notice the fallacies therein, otherwise you would get carried away by the entertainment in his way with words, metaphors, and fitting examples that were always available to him. Much as his books (pamphlets) were dismissed by many in view of the speed at which they were released, they manifest a desire to reflect and document. He prided in his arrogance. But it was usually an entertaining arrogance, easy to let pass. Towards the end of his life, his vocabulary became more and more unhinged, requiring Parental Guidance. Could the liberty of his tongue have been Dutch courage? As a propagandist, sometimes he sounded far fetched in his conspiracy theories, but his quality was often a bit higher than the new herd of bonehead propagandists deployed by his political club on social media. Many of them are characteristically unimaginative, belly-brained, predictable, petty, and, in summary, stupid. You can detect them from their first sentence. One of the features of philosophical minds is the freedom to think beyond conventions, venturing into taboo topics, pushing boundaries of what is acceptable, and questioning common sense. Much of this he did. He questioned religious beliefs and cultural norms. He lived the way of his mind. In many ways, including when he went off limits of social decency and civility, he was his own man. He dared to use his brain. He hasn’t returned it to the creator intact. May he find rest.show more
