AN ENGINEER SOLVED A PROBLEM NOBODY IN THE COMPANY... COULD FULLY MAP ON THEIR OWN The problem wasn't a missing tool, it was that every process touched three other processes nobody had written down. He wired dozens of agents into one shared graph instead of documenting each department's workflow by hand. Each agent owned one process, reading its own logs while writing every dependency it found straight into the shared structure. Within days, the graph surfaced a connection between two departments that had been quietly blocking each other for over a year. The company adopted the graph as its live map of operations, and it hasn't stopped finding new connections since. See what the graph found in the first 48 hours below👇show more

Finally! A RAG over code solution that actually works... (open-source). Naive chunking used in RAG isn't suited for code. This is because codebases have long-range dependencies, cross-file references, etc., that independent text chunks just can't capture. Graph-Code is a graph-driven RAG system that solves this. It analyzes the Python codebase and builds knowledge graphs to enable natural language querying. Key features: - Deep code parsing to extract classes, functions, and relationships. - Uses Memgraph to store the codebase as a graph. - Parses pyproject to understand external dependencies. - Retrieves actual source code snippets for found functions. THIS DEVELOPER USED A 10,000+ STAR OBSIDIAN REPO TO... TURN HIS GROWING VAULT INTO A SEARCHABLE AI MEMORY SYSTEM most people keep adding notes until the graph looks impressive but nobody can find the exact context when a real task starts new note → ai summary → entity links → backlinks → graph update → claude retrieves the right 3–5 files instead of scanning the entire vault the system connects projects, decisions, research, and unfinished ideas, so old context resurfaces automatically instead of disappearing inside hundreds of folders he built the workflow around Claudian, an open-source repo with 10,000+ GitHub stars that brings Claude Code directly into Obsidian → bookmark this before your next 1,000 notes become another beautiful graph that your AI still cannot useshow more

Something just launched that makes VS Code feel ancient.... And im all in for it: Cline Desktop app, an open-source app for open-weight models (and you know how much i love open source) brings its coding agent into a standalone Cline Desktop app for Mac + Windows. Just open a project and tell it what you want to change. No need to open VS Code first. In Cline's demo, it adds priority filters to a task board, works through the code and runs the build. Glad to see the model choice stays open, too. You can bring your own API keys, use supported open-weight models and even switch models halfway through a project!show more

if you use claude code, this will save you... real money. the problem: every time you make an edit, your ai rereads the whole codebase to figure out what changed. tens of thousands of tokens, every turn, for context it already had. this repo fixes it. it’s called code review graph, and it just maps your entire codebase: every file, every function, every connection laid out so you can see the actual shape of your project how to set up (2 min): 1. pip install code-review-graph 2. code-review-graph install - auto-configures Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI + more 3. code-review-graph build change one function, and it traces exactly what that touches... every caller, every dependent file, every test. your ai only reads what's affected, not the whole repo. and the savings are wild. a task that used to burn ~100,000 tokens (about a dollar) now runs closer to a penny.show more

Build AI agents on a time-aware knowledge graph! Utopia... is an open-source knowledge system that turns documents, databases, and connected sources into a temporal graph your agents can reason over. Most RAG systems are optimized for one question: what is relevant right now? That works until the underlying knowledge changes. A customer contract gets updated. A project owner changes. A policy is revised. A previous fact may no longer be true, but simply overwriting it means the system loses the history behind that change. Utopia handles this with a bitemporal knowledge graph. Each fact can track both when it was true in the real world and when the system learned about it. When something changes, the old fact is preserved instead of silently disappearing. That means an agent can reason about questions like: • What is true now? • What was true three months ago? • When did this information change? • What evidence was the conclusion based on? The graph is also ontology-aware, so documents are represented as entities, facts, and relationships instead of only chunks and embeddings. That gives the system more structure for reasoning across relationships, resolving entities, detecting conflicting facts, and deriving new information through explicit rules. Key capabilities: • Bitemporal knowledge graph for tracking how facts change over time • Provenance on facts so agents can trace where information came from • Conflict detection instead of silently overwriting contradictory information • Ontology-based reasoning across entities, relationships, and derived facts • Hybrid retrieval across full-text search, vector search, and graph traversal • MCP and agentic RAG support for exposing the knowledge layer directly to agents The interesting part is that this turns the knowledge base into more than a retrieval system. Instead of only finding relevant information, an agent can reason over what changed, what is still valid, how facts are connected, and where each conclusion came from. 100% open source. I've shared the GitHub repo in the comments!show more

What If Your Phone Became the Screen for an... ESP32-S3? Droidputter lets you plug an ESP32-S3 into an Android phone over USB-OTG and use the phone as its display, keyboard, GPS and firmware flasher. The ESP32-S3 still runs the application. The phone simply provides the missing hardware. The clever part is that Cardputer apps can be rebuilt with a display and keyboard shim, while pixel data is streamed over the ESP32-S3's native USB-CDC connection. The phone can then flash the firmware and mirror the app. You can even take an open-source Cardputer app from GitHub and build a phone-mirrored version on demand. It is a really interesting combination of ESP32-S3, USB-OTG, Android, PlatformIO and open-source apps. Would you build an ESP32-S3 device that uses your phone as its screen?show more

Make any knowledge base or LLM wiki follow the... Open Knowledge Format with our new OKF plugin. OKF is an open spec created by Google that makes markdown-based knowledge bases portable and interoperable through a set of shared patterns and rules. With the new plugin, you can easily convert any existing knowledge base to OKF, and have agents write and maintain your wiki in the format. The plugin leverages a combination of linting, deterministic rules, and automations for creating special files like 𝚒𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚡.𝚖𝚍. It also adds a skill and leverages our MCP tools to give agents real-time hints and warnings as they write, so issues get caught immediately — plus 𝚊𝚞𝚍𝚒𝚝 and 𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚝 tools to check the entire knowledge base any time.show more

This app uses AirDrop to send files from your... Android phone to your Macbook! Yes, it actually uses AirDrop. That means you don't have to install ANYTHING on your Mac to send files from your Android phone! Here's a video of a Galaxy Z Flip 5 AirDropping a file to a Macbook running macOS Ventura 13.5.1. (Thanks to u/FragmentedChicken for testing this app for me and sharing the video!) A few months ago, Twitter user @Linus13499209 brought an app called WarpShare to my attention. WarpShare is an app made by the developers of MoKee, an AOSP-based custom ROM that was popular in China. Since MoKee wasn't as popular outside of China, it seems the existence of their WarpShare app slipped under the radar. I was skeptical about whether it would work at all. Grishka, the developer of NearDrop, an open source port of Google's Nearby Share to macOS, told me that they were under the assumption that AirDrop requires the use of AWDL (Apple Wireless Direct Link, Apple's proprietary WiFi-based protocol) to communicate both ways. However, it seems that AWDL is only required for your Android phone to be discoverable by your Mac (ie. to send files from your Mac to your Android phone) but not the other way around. Because of this, though, WarpShare only supports sending files from Android to Mac but not vice versa. Your Mac also needs to have AirDrop discoverability set to "everyone" for this to work, as "contacts-only" requires Apple-signed certificates. Plus, it also doesn't support sending files from Android to iPhones or iPads, even when "everyone" mode is enabled. Still, if you find other Android --> Mac file sharing options to be lackluster, give WarpShare a try! The fact that it works at all is incredible, which is why I'm sharing this news here. If you want to download WarpShare on your Android device, you'll need to compile the app from its source code. If you're a Patron/X subscriber, however, I will share my compiled APK with you. UNUSUAL China begins building the “New Three Gorges” China... has announced the launch of a major new project — the construction of the “Three Gorges” waterway on the Yangtze River, which will include the largest navigation gate in the world. The project, costing 77.2 billion yuan (£11.4 billion), includes a new navigation channel at the Three Gorges Dam — the largest engineering project in the world — as well as an expansion of the dam’s capacity at Gezhouba downstream on the Yangtze. It is designed for vessels of up to 10,000 tons. This is the first major national project to be launched under China’s 14th Five‑Year Plan (2026–2030), and it comes after ten years of research and planning studies. It is being built due to the rising volume of transport along the Yangtze River — China’s main inland shipping artery. Once completed, the annual capacity of the “Three Gorges” will double, exceeding 336 million tonsshow more

We Open-Sourced a Quantized Fruit-Fly oBrain on GitHub 95%... Smaller, ~98% as Accurate as the Published Connectome We quantized the entire fruit-fly nervous system that Google Research, HHMI Janelia, and collaborators published — the complete male Drosophila central nervous system, on the order of 166,000 neurons and a massive synaptic graph — and compressed it by about 95% while retaining roughly 98% of the original simulation accuracy. That is the technical claim. The more important decision is what happens next. After the oBrain team met and debated it, we made a final call: we will not keep this brain closed. We are open-sourcing it on GitHub so researchers, builders, skeptics, and anyone obsessed with biological computation can inspect the weights, the wiring, the quantization path, and the benchmarks. If a “brain” is going to live on-chain, it has to be checkable. Closed source would make that impossible. This is the same instinct that made OpenClaw🦞 a public harness instead of a private assistant, that made Hermes / Nous Research ship agent stacks in the open, and that NVIDIA keeps repeating: the strongest systems are the ones a community can attack, fork, and improve. What we actually released A quantized runtime of the published fly CNS, not a cartoon “inspired by” a fly. A size cut of ~95%, so more people can load, step, and experiment without a research cluster. Accuracy held near 98% against the reference simulation of the published connectome. Source, evaluation notes, and the path to reproduce the comparison — on GitHub, in public. Nothing inside this connectome was “trained” into being a fly. The wiring is the published map. Quantization is an engineering layer so the same graph can run cheaper, smaller, and — in our case — in environments where you can put a brain on-chain and still let outsiders verify it. Why open source, and why on-chain A biological brain map is only as useful as the number of people who can run it and try to break the claims. If we say the on-chain brain matches the Google-published fly brain, that statement is worthless unless you can: pull the code, pull the quantized artifacts, run the same probes, compare spike statistics, circuit responses, and size/accuracy tradeoffs, publish a counter-benchmark if we are wrong. That is the point of this release. Open source so the on-chain brain can be independently verified against the published connectome — and so the community can actually use it. We want people to ask hard questions: Which circuits survive quantization, and which degrade first? Do sensory-to-descending pathways still fire in the right order? How does batch simulation, GPU vs CPU, and lower precision change behavior? What does “98% accuracy” mean for a specific cell type, not just a global score? Can the compressed graph be hashed, attested, and stepped in a verifiable way on-chain without turning the science into marketing? If those questions annoy us, good. That is how a public brain should work. Who this is for Neuroscientists who already live in MaleCNS / FlyEM data. Systems people who care about sparse graphs and event-driven simulation. Quantization researchers who are tired of toy models. Crypto builders who want an on-chain object that is more than a JPEG of a neuron. Students who should not need a petabyte pipeline just to poke a looming detector and watch a giant fiber. Come read the repo. Run the reference vs quantized comparison. File issues. Propose better compressors. Port it. Wrap it. Attack the accuracy number until it is either solid or replaced by a better one. The published fly brain was already a gift to science. Keeping a compressed, runnable version locked behind a private wall would have been a waste of that gift. The brain is on GitHub. Fork it. Measure it. Make it better.show more
