I wait for my master at the same train... station every day. Even if someone brings me somewhere else, I run out and I go back there. But why? Because my whole universe isn’t the world where I live; it was his love, his presence, it was him, and without my universe I’m nothing. -Hachikoshow more

We said goodbye to our beloved Odom last night... as it was his time to go. To say I am devastated would be an understatement because that dog has saved my life more times than I could even begin to fathom. To be with him at the end of his amazing life was an honor I do not take for granted. Most of my days and routines over the last few years were centered around him and ensuring that he received what he needed. Whether it was receiving insulin for his diabetes at the same times every day or planning walks and meals to accommodate what worked best for him, my schedule revolved around what he needed. To some, this might seem like a nuisance. For me, it made me better. I made his routines my routines. Walking him twice a day gave me time to reflect and appreciate all of the good in my life. Planning time for his exercise ensured I did the same for myself. Being immediately anchored by his weight on a walk because he wanted to appreciate something he had noticed taught me to slow down and take in moments in a way I wasn’t used to. His routine was my routine, and it made me better. When I first saw him at the Edmonton Humane Society Society, I wasn’t ready for a dog. My brother Alec was there, and he saw me with Odom, and he knew that I was in love immediately. I didn’t find Odom, but Odom found me. I left, not taking him home and immediately knew it was a mistake, and that he was meant to be in my life. I went to the Edmonton Humane Society the next day, 30 minutes before it opened, to ensure that I would be the first person to go through the doors. I headed straight for where Odom was, and he came home with me that day. With all of the ups and downs I have had in my life since, my love and pride in that dog were a constant. I am terribly sad, and I am taking solace in this quote from Andrew Garfield on grief: “This is all the unexpressed love, the grief that will remain with us until we pass because we never get enough time with each other, no matter if someone lives till 60, 15, or 99.” I love that dog because that dog loved me. Bye Odom…You will always be my best friend.show more

My little Rakan was killed through no fault of... his own by the occupation, hit with American-made missiles. I am very sad for his loss, and my grief is renewed every day as I see new children killed without guilt. But I would be even more heartbroken if the world awarded Trump the Nobel Peace Prize it would shatter my heart and break humanity everywhere. #Gaza #Flotillashow more

I believe it because I saw this years ago,... and it just vanished like that. My sister was asleep, and the bedroom door was open. I was asleep too, and my sister's bed was next to the door. Suddenly, I turned to the other side and opened my eyes, and I saw him standing there looking at my sister. When he saw me, he vanished like that.show more

"My brother called me at 2am from a gas... station parking lot. He said he wasn't okay. I mean really wasn't okay. I stayed on the phone with him for three hours. He wasn't alone in that car. Atlas was with him the whole time. My brother told me later — 'Every time I went somewhere dark in my head, Atlas would shift closer. Like he could feel exactly where I was going and he just kept pulling me back without touching me.' He's getting help now. He made the call himself Monday morning. He said Atlas kept him in that car until it was a different kind of night." I drove to that gas station at 5am when he finally said I could come. I stood outside the passenger window before I opened the door. Atlas was on the passenger seat. His head on the console. Watching my brother. Still watching. He had been watching all night. I stood in that parking lot in the cold and I looked at my brother alive in that car and I looked at the dog who kept him there and I couldn't open the door for a long time. I just stood there. Needing a minute to be grateful in the cold before I went inside the warm. My brother is okay. He's talking to someone. Atlas hasn't left his side since that night. If you have someone who isn't okay — call them tonight. Not tomorrow. Tonight. And if you ARE the someone who isn't okay — please call. There is a person on the other end who will stay on the phone for three hours. I promise you there is. Drop a ❤️ for my brother. And for Atlas who held that car together until morning.show more

Dear Everyone, The last few days have been hell.... Losing Kiyo has not been easy and I’m not ok. Kiyo gave me the best time of my life. The level of joy you brought into my word and any space he was able to exist in was incomparable. Kiyo was my lover, my best friend, and my truth. He truly saw me for who I was and I saw him for who he was. I didn’t just love him, I believed in him, prayed for his victory. I cared for him. Who would have thought that bringing back a piece of Tupperware would invite me into the world of the purest, kindest soul in the world. Kiyo would do anything for anyone. He was my hero and I was his. We both kept our capes on for each other whenever we needed to save the other person. I am grateful that I got to experience a love like his. I am grateful I got to spend some of the best moments of my life with him. I am grateful that even I grieve I still feel his warmth and care. Kiyo taught me be more patient and understanding and no matter how we came into this world and no matter how bad the world treated us, it doesn’t give us the right to exact that same unkindness to others. He loves animals, anime, a good meal, Steven Universe, a really inappropriate joke, and you never had to guess how he felt about you. As he was goofy he was charming. I still feel his hands interlocked into mine and he was fearless. He loved like no other man I have met in this world could. The first night we reconnected he gave my cat Patrick the middle name Bayard. He gave me first Christmas full of love and laughs. The first man in my life to actually pay attention to me and surprise me with gifts that he knew I would love and were true to who I was as a nerd. Anytime I could get it, I was with him. He had full access to my home and my heart. To Mike and Rico thank you for always being there for him and caring for him, Mike you coming into town in March really lit him up. First time I got to dance with him. Rico thank you for taking him to there museum. He loved every moment of it. All he could do was rave about how much made his day. To Tony, his wife and his gaming community on Destiny 2, thank you for being patient with my baby and giving him space to be man that he was and to his Dad and his brothers. He loved y’all more than you know. All he wanted was for y’all to be ok. And to all his true friends and loved ones know that he always thought of y’all. I will never say goodbye to Kiyoki-D’Andre Marcel Toliver, I will say see you later because no matter where you are I know you are watching me because what we had was Immortal. As I grieve I will try to give any notice on his memorial service which will be in NYC because his grandmother sent him here to find the best version of himself and I know he truly did. I want to share this video I made months ago because I was so proud of the man I had. I want to share also the last video he took of me before we went to Brooklyn Comic-Con. If there are typos forgive me.show more

Ines Garcia went on live some hours ago feeling... so regretful about how she handled her relationship with her ex; "Hey everyone… I need to get this off my chest right now. I left my man thinking that being with Yamal was gonna give me peace and all the wealth I ever wanted. I really thought it was gonna be that soft, easy life, no arguments, no stress, just luxury and vibes. But I was so wrong. He cheated on me. The same man I thought was different turned out to be just like the rest. Now I’m sitting here regretting everything I did. I miss my ex so much it hurts. I keep thinking about how loyal he was, how he really loved me, and I threw it all away for nothing. I even texted him earlier… I told him I’m sorry, that I made the biggest mistake of my life, and that I want us back. I just hope he can forgive me.”show more

"My dad forgot my name last Thursday. He looked... at me for a long time and I could see him trying and I smiled and said it's okay Dad and meant it and didn't mean it. Yesterday I brought Bruno to visit. Dad was in his recliner staring at the window the way he does when he's somewhere we can't follow. Bruno walked in. Dad turned. And his whole face — his whole face — became the face I grew up with. He reached out both hands. He said Bruno's name perfectly. Clearly. No hesitation. He said it the way you say the name of something you have loved so long it lives below the place the disease can reach." He held Bruno's face in both hands for a long time. He talked to him. Full sentences. Things I haven't heard from him in months. He said — "There's my boy. There he is. I knew you'd come." I sat in the corner of that room and I let them have it and I didn't make a sound because some things are not for witnessing loudly. My dad has Alzheimer's. Some days he knows me. Some days he is somewhere I cannot find him. But he always knows Bruno. Every single visit. Every single time. Bruno walks in and my father comes back to the surface like something in him refuses to forget the one who never left. I don't know what that is. I don't know the name for it. I just know that Bruno walks into that room and my father says his name and for a few minutes I have my dad back. That's everything. Some days that's just everything. Drop a ❤️ for Dad. And for Bruno who finds him every single time in places I can't reach.show more

I have triumphed… and I returned with flour. After... 24 hours of waiting among the destroyed homes, in front of tanks, under a merciless sky… I slept on the sand, hearing death whisper in my ear, drawing so close… I could almost touch it. But as I told you, I had sworn—I would not return empty-handed. I would not come back without something to feed my children… not while their eyes were still waiting for me. And now, by the grace of God, I survived. I returned from the jaws of death… and I brought with me something simple—half a bag of flour. Yes… just flour. But to me, it was life itself. A lifeline for me and my family. I saw many fall before me. I heard their last cries. I could do nothing. I walked on fear, through rubble and dust, among broken dreams and scattered limbs. I hid from snipers… ran from tanks. But now I’m here. Alive. And I saw Adam—my child. I held him as if I was holding the whole world. I didn’t think I would make it back… but I did. Because I love them more than I fear death. For them… I risked everything. I endured. And I survived.show more

Day 18 of my 30 Day Water Fast. LONG... but IMPORTANT read. 💕💦 Last night at 4 AM, I made a decision—I wiped everything from my Instagram and TikTok that was posted before this fast started. Every video, every picture, every piece of content—gone. Why? Because I felt like everything I had posted before was created with greed, lust, anger, resentment, and bitterness. And just keeping those memories up was holding me back from the person I’m trying to become. If you truly want to change, you have to let go of the old version of yourself. You can’t cling to things that no longer serve you. I get it. You’ve seen this before. You’ve heard me say it a million times. And that’s why when someone in my chat said, “How many days do you guys give him until he crashes out again?” That sh*t hurt. Because I know my past behavior has given the world every reason to doubt me. But instead of waiting for me to fail, I think the better thing to say is: “I know you’ve fallen so many times, but I pray this time you truly stay consistent.” Because I truly do want to change. I hated who I was. And if I could erase every clip, every post, every trace of the old me from the internet, I would. But I can’t. That version of me will live online forever. The biggest thing I’m realizing during this 30-day fast? I don’t like selling my soul. I don’t like being on camera 24/7. I don’t like giving people the space to say whatever they want about me, in my own home, in my car, in my personal life. I used to feed off the hate, the anger, the negativity. I let it drive me. But now that I’m trying to live in light, that same energy is holding me back. Every step forward, I get dragged two steps back just by being in this space. And yeah, I know the irony of me saying all this while still streaming 24/7. But until I find another way to make a living, I have to do what I have to do. I said I was gonna complete 30 days live to prove I didn’t eat—so I’m gonna finish it, no matter how much I hate doing it. And yeah, I’m pissed off today. Doing this during Ramadan was the worst decision I could’ve made. Dry fasting all day and then breaking my fast with only water, black coffee, electrolytes, and green tea is insane. If I could do this again, I’d do it outside of Ramadan so I could at least drink water during the day. Sorry for the long read. Just had to get this off my chest.show more

Today was the day. I gifted my mother $10,000.... Something I dreamed of in the start of my trading journey. My parents have always been there for me. At first they didn’t believe in my journey, yet still they supported me. I promised them MULTIPLE TIMES that I was going to take care of them, yet the only thing they did was laugh it off. Yet here we are. Why do I trade? To provide to my family and to the ones that supported me. To achieve all the goals that 18 year old me set out to achieve. I was lost, yet I didn’t stop because I knew that I had bigger things planned for me. Was it hard? Absolutely. Was it worth it? Absolutely. After 3 years of putting the work in, I became profitable, and now, 5 years in, I’m able to provide to myself and my family…and that’s the only thing I care about.show more

Asked to reflect on navigating a “hellish” public breakup,... Perrie acknowledges that she receives criticism for answering questions about it, “[but] I’m like, ‘But it really affected me massively’”: “People are gonna hate me talking about it… I can’t catch a break. If I talk about this, they’re like: ‘Why are you talking about it?!’ But anyway, shut up! Yeah, [it’s my life]. When you go through heartbreak, it is hellish. You can’t eat, you can’t sleep, you feel horrendous. You don’t feel good enough and you feel like you’ve been left for something better, or whatever it is… Then what makes it even worse is, I feel like the world was then looking at me, laughing at me. I felt embarrassed; I felt horrified. I had serious breakdowns. I did. Because it wasn’t just the heartbreak I was dealing with. I was dealing with everybody looking at me, and I felt ridiculed. I just couldn’t cope with it; I hated it. I was breaking down in performances, which isn’t like me at all. I was crying constantly. I think I was depressed… I know that sounds ridiculous! But I think it was this plus this plus this, and everything on top. It was like, I had to be there for the girls; I had to be switched on; I had to power through for Little Mix – but I also just wanted to be left the fuck alone. But I also was getting followed every two seconds and asked about it 24/7, and it was the headlines, it was everywhere, and it was a lot! And this is the thing – when people are like, ‘Stop talking about it!’ I’m like, ‘But it really affected me massively’.”show more
