I used to think sending my resume to 50+... jobs would eventually work. If you're applying to dozens of jobs with the same resume... That could be the reason you're getting ignored. Here's what I learned. The biggest mistake wasn't my experience—it was using the same resume for every application. Most companies screen resumes against the job description first. If your resume isn't tailored, you're often filtered out before a recruiter even sees it. I've been testing NextRaiseAI and it makes the process much easier. → Paste a job description (or use the Chrome extension directly on LinkedIn job pages) → Get a resume match score → See exactly which skills and keywords are missing → Tailor your resume before applying You're not getting rejected for a bad profile—you're getting rejected for not tailoring your resume at scale. 🎁 Get 20% off using this code "YU4KHZ" Try it here: #ad #sponsoredshow more

Astra (GPT-6) is here!!! I've had early access and... tested it like crazy with things like games, code, writing, browser control, presentations and general knowledge work. This is the best model I've ever used. Period. (Incredible demos below in this thread ⬇️) Here's my take on Astra: > It's insanely capable. This feels like a massive improvement, not just an incremental change. This is especially true with zero-shot prompts. > It's all about knowledge work. Slide creation, analysis, writing, and browser control. And oh my...it's so good at browser control. GPT-5.6 was already fantastic at doing things in the browser, Astra is another level and significantly faster. > We're closer than ever (arrived?) at prompt-to-playable game. And I don't just mean only playable, these are actually fun games. I bet if someone with a great eye for games used Astra, they could create a viral game within 1-2 weeks. > Astra is better at writing but not perfect. It removes much of the "AI Smell" we're all familiar with but some stink still survived. > It has a tendency to use the same design colors and look/feel as GPT-5.6 (forrest green anyone?) but it is more steerable in design than previous models. > It's highly steerable in general. A little nudge goes a long way. When I first started using Astra, almost every task I gave it would go for ~30 minutes. I wanted it to keep working. Adding more specifics to a prompt helped greatly with it's ability to work for a long time. > Astra's 3D understanding is unmatched. 3D asset creation was consistent and easy and its spacial awareness while building complex 3D worlds blew me away. I'm still getting familiar with Astra but this will now be my go-to model for any difficult work I have. Check out the demos below: 👇show more

A Muslim woman in Canada is furious because she... cannot get a job on account of her hijab. When one workplace told her to take the hijab off if she wanted the job, it felt like a slap in the face. She is now telling other hijab-wearing women on social media not to compromise their identity for a job. In other words, she is angry about not getting work, but she will not give up the clothing.show more

A person who converted to Islam in Japan was... offered a job by a company in Osaka because he knew Arabic. The company’s business was connected to the Middle East. However, they could not reach an agreement on two issues before he started the job. First, he would have to attend business parties where alcohol was also served. Second, there would need to be an arrangement between his prayer times and his office working hours. Because of this, he refused the job. Later, he became the imam of a mosque in Kobe. For some people, it is so easy to say, “Religion is more important than a job.” Such employees also tend to face more conflicts because they want to bring religious rules into the workplace, which is not possible. Here, the question is not just about the job, but about priorities. Was it the right decision to give up such a job opportunity because of his religious beliefs?show more

this formula decides who survives in trading everyone argues... about what to buy. almost nobody argues about how much f* = (bp - q) / b p and q are your win rate and your loss rate. if the edge isn't positive, f* comes out zero. bet nothing. most traders don't have a zero setting b is the payoff. edge divided by odds. strong conviction on a bad payout still gets you a small position f* is a fraction of the account, never a dollar amount. wins scale the next bet up, losses scale it down. you can shrink forever and never actually hit zero now the part that kills people a real, provable, positive edge will still bankrupt you if you size it wrong. the chart below is the same 400 trades run twice. same win rate. same edge. 10% sizing compounds to 110k. 30% sizing ends at 52 dollars it doesn't blow up because it was wrong. it blows up because it was right too big being right is the cheap partshow more

I FOUND A FORMAT THAT GETS 6M+ VIEWS WITH... A GIRL WHO NEVER TAKES HER TOP OFF. 17 SECONDS. SHE PULLS IT, TIES IT, ADJUSTS IT, LIFTS IT. EVERY FRAME LOOKS LIKE THE NEXT ONE IS THE REVEAL. THERE IS NO REVEAL. THAT'S WHY YOU'RE ON YOUR THIRD LOOP. Thread. Girl leaning against a tree. Dark tank top, jeans, cross necklace. Her hands are on her shirt and they never leave. She ties the bottom in a knot, shows a strip of stomach. Unties it. Pulls a strap. Adjusts. Every movement is one tug away from something the platform would delete. 0:03. She pulls the fabric tight across her chest. Camera framed on her torso, face barely in shot. You're not watching a person, you're watching hands and fabric and the gap between them. 0:08. She pulls the strap off her shoulder, lets it hang. The top shifts. For half a second you think this is it. It's not. She pulls it back up and your brain resets the clock. 0:14. Still adjusting. Hands on the neckline, pulling it down, gathering it back up. The cross necklace sits right above the edge of the top the entire time. A tiny gold reminder of modesty hanging directly over the thing you're waiting to see. The camera never shows her full face. Crop the face and she stops being a person and starts being a countdown. 17 seconds. Every other video we've broken down is under 10. This one runs long because the payoff is always "the next second." You watch 17 waiting for 18. Second 18 is the loop. She never takes it off. She never needed to. She just needed you to think she was about to.show more

Remember the jelly watermelon slice? People don't understand what it's like to drive in... Boston. None of the normal driving rules apply. It is a strange battle royale and the name of the game is survival. It's like no other place in the country. Having grown up there, it's second nature, even when I go back. But as an outsider, many lose their minds. I'm surprised this car even had its blinker on. Must not have grown up there. You're not supposed to use it so the people behind you can shout "Nice blinka buddy" all while not using theirs either.show more

This 60 Minutes clip seems most appropriate today: "When... you had that third failure in a row, did you think, 'I need to pack this in?'" Elon Musk: "Never." "Why not?" "I don't ever give up." "Elon Musk got kicked out of the company he founded, watched his rocket explode on live TV, and had every major investor tell him Tesla was going to fail. Most people would’ve quit after one of those. He went through all three. That’s the thing nobody talks about. Success doesn’t look like a straight line up. It looks like losing everything, rebuilding from zero, and showing up again anyway. Elon didn’t win because he was the smartest guy in the room. He won because he refused to stop."show more

🚨 ELON MUSK ON WHY HE CAME TO AMERICA:... “Cool technology happens in America. That’s why I came here. Growing up I traveled around Africa and other countries, and I went to the U.S. when I was about 10.
