today’s experiment: chimera. a little tool that let’s you... realtime morph through a design system matrix generated by 4 reference images. this one was inspired by listening to techbimbo talk about her process on Dive Club with Ridd 🤿 and How I AI with claire vo 🖤. her approach to choosing moodboards over prompts made me wonder what might be possible if we applied that same approach to generative UI. and after a few dead ends, the idea turned into chimera. the results are very generic at the moment but I might tune it up if people seem interested. the big reminder for me is how much more inspiring a tool feels when you can explore in realtime instead of waiting for results every time you make a change. lots more things to try in that direction.show more

If you want to invest another 3 minutes (and... $100), add back extensions. These days almost everyone has a weak posterior chain (hamstrings, glutes, spinal erectors). This is the single best exercise for restoring and maintaining back health. It was a complete game-changer for me. 1) Start with a static hold (no bending) Once you can do that for 2 minutes… 2) Work your way up to 30 reps. Then… 3) Slowly start adding weight (hold dumbbells or plates to your chest). I’m up to 15 reps with 50 lbs. Do it 3X/week and you’ll notice a difference within a few weeks. Android vs. iOS app quality difference [Part 8] This... one is about two highly-requested media apps: Spotify and Netflix. Netflix is miles better on iOS, but Spotify is about the same in my opinion because each version has one extra feature that's absent on the other. Netflix: - Netflix on iOS has a very modern design. Cool animations while logging in, and 3D parallax effect on the main title shown on the homepage. Nothing like this on the Android version. - You can use gestures to navigate the titles as shown in the video, and it's coupled with cool animations. Absent on the Android app. Spotify: - On the iOS app, you can use swipe up/down gestures to navigate between the mini-player and main music player UI. Can't do that on Android. - However, on the Android app, you can like a song directly from the notification panel - which is very useful. You can add a song you like to your Liked playlist directly without having to open the app. I believe this is on Apple alone, since they don't allow adding shortcuts like that to media player. However, I just read up on this and found out there is a well-documented ADS-B community who use spoofing pranks that is easy to do if you know what you’re doing. Basically, Spoofers are feeding fake data directly to ADS-B Exchange's servers (no real transponder needed—just internet submission of bogus positions/altitudes/callsigns).
