You can connect your Supabase database via MCP server to Cursor! The Cursor agent can get the schema and any data from your database through the official Postgres MCP server! This helps Cursor understand your database better when it needs to modify it to add a new feature!

We have created a list of Cursor rules you can copy and paste into your codebase! Each rule comes with a sample description and glob pattern so that your rule is only applied to the appropriate use case. What other sample rules should we create on top of what we have now?

DeepSeek R1 has landed on Cursor Composer, so I tried it by adding Supabase realtime to my app! If you're wondering, they are using a version of DeepSeek hosted on US servers. As much as I love the hype on this model, I find that using Claude Sonnet produces better results.

Supabase now has an official MCP Server! This means you can create, edit, and connect a Supabase project to your app from your AI IDE like Cursor or Windsurf! We will also be adding more features to the MCP server, such as Edge Functions and Storage, in the near future!

With Opus 4.7 out, I wanted to remind you that there is an official Supabase connector, and it is the easiest way to add a backend to your app! You can - Run SQL - Create database migrations - Deploy Edge Functions - Access logs to debug - Fetch the security advisor output All while chatting with it!

Supabase offers a db, auth, storage, edge functions, but did you know it also has queues? It's powered by pgmq extension, and we also provide an interface to manage them! Combined with cron, edge functions, and you've got a scalable workflow within the Supabase ecosystem!
