Thank you MTN Nigeria, MTN Nigeria Support for STEALING... my data, deliberately. So my data expired on the 3rd of Feb. 2025, and I tried re-subscribing with my bank apps but it kept bouncing back. I reached out to MTN customer care multiple times and was told that their network has some issues, and they are working to fix it. Keep in mind that I could barely use the data before now due to poor network coverage. I called almost every day reminding the customer care agents that the roll-over time ends on Feb. 10th, multiple times, and was reassured that the date will be extended since the issue wasn't coming from me. During this time both their MTN app, bank transactions, and USSD codes weren't working, even they themsleves couldn't renew the sub from their own end because their system was down. Today I woke up to find out that they (MTN) have proceeded to wipe out the data balance, "409 GB" which costs over N50k. The customer care agent who anwsered my call this morning said that there's nothing he can do, I can only re-activate now. This weekend my dream came into fruition. And it... still doesn’t feel real… I started Earnit Media in late 2023. There were many times when I did the weekly calls completely by myself, nobody would join. I’d sit there for an hour just hoping to hear the Discord join sound. Now I just hosted an irl meet up in Gdańsk with 18 members who’ve flown from all over the world. Shoutout DiPi for getting a 16 hour flight all the way from California. The power of the internet is wild and the opportunities YouTube and short form content have provided is a real blessing. I gave out awards for members that passed milestones like $10K and $100K since joining Earnit and seeing the amount of lives my community has changed in person is an indescribable feeling. The members also got me and my right hand man Ben a very special gift. A custom Earnit belt that was signed by all of them. I’ve been sleeping with it wrapped around my shoulder. It was so cool to see everyone sharing sauce and motivating each other. It doesn’t matter if you’re making 1K, 5K, 10K, 30K a month - everybody benefited from the conversations and provided value. It’s taken a long time to build such a supportive community but man was the effort worth it. I come from a small English town where nobody works online, let alone does YouTube. So to be able to meet like-minded people who understand exactly what you do, have the same sense of urgency + ambition is a rarity and is key for growth. I have no doubt that so many of us are gonna be lifelong friends. I keep telling myself that I’m so grateful and lucky to have been able to do this because I truly have been blessed with the cards life has dealt me and the path I’ve been put on. I used to do bodybuilding shows. 6 months of... exhausting prep for each show. Losing usually 25-30 lbs to step on stage. Tracking every calorie. Weighing every piece of food. Training everyday, lifting and cardio. It was intense… but when you are in that world, you get addicted to seeing yourself shrink. New striations every month. And then it’s finally show day and everyone congratulates you on your hard work and discipline. While I ultimately stopped bodybuilding because I think there are drawbacks, I am grateful for the experience because pregnancy is also very much literally building a body, and your endurance and dedication to health is just as, if not more important. But when you are pregnant, you are only growing, getting heavier, more uncomfortable. There is no aesthetic reward. No one cares if you work out or not, in fact some people will try and tell you to “just rest”… So you have to do it for you. And of course, your little baby. As I near the end of my pregnancy I’m grateful I was able to work out for nearly the whole thing. This is my first pregnancy and I’ll admit it hasn’t been as bad as I feared and I contribute staying active to part of that. I was still rock climbing until 27 weeks. I’m still doing daily walks and while my intensity and frequency of lifting has scaled back, I’m still doing something. Pregnancy is longer than any bodybuilding prep I’ve ever done and of course the reward is greater than anything I could dream of, my baby boy. But then women are left to “bounce back” and try and get their body back. I’m obviously not postpartum yet but I’m glad I was able to stay somewhat fit this pregnancy so hopefully the recovery isn’t so hard. I broke my femur three years ago and truly learned what it meant to start from scratch. And while recovery isn’t something I look forward to, at least I had time to prepare for this one, so I hope it goes well!show more

Conveyer belt sorting systems with everything you can imagine. Pallets of bicycles. Filthy vacuums. And rolling bins. A bazillion rolling bins full of who knows what, but apparently some treasure. Before you get triggered by “people making money off donations that are ‘supposed’ to support people who are impoverished,” I invite you to go see an operation like this. The amount of excess materialism is astounding, and this is a microscopic fraction of it. Resellers duking it out over labels and prized goods all day everyday at places like this are playing an extremely important role in a circular economy that is making a difference in the appalling about of waste we have created as a society.
