Indians celebrating India day with sewage water

Japan (Chiba prefecture) after record heavy rains. Metros, malls,... roads got flooded. Such monsoon type of 300mm+/day rains cause flooding even in the most advanced nations. But what can Indians learn? If we don't litter the streets we can at least enjoy clear looking floods in metros and malls :) A note on sewage mixing: Tokyo has 80% combined sewage and rainwater systems, Osaka more than 90%. Just like India. Combined system means sewage mixes with rain water and can gush out through manholes during heavy rains. It does happen in Japan.show more
