claude design is my all time favorite anthropic drop... this year, even more than opus 4.7 its actually really really good at design and the "handoff to claude code" makes it basically copy/paste ui to the actual working product claude design made the entire ui for merl (full video on merl soon)show more

The design of this mask-style Ido comes from the... designer @KhzumaCanis. Previously, we held a 🌈Color & Win event, and the color scheme of this design really caught our attention. As promised, we will give the designer a headgear of their own design. Furrjoi hopes to launch more personalized custom products and activities in the future and also provide friendly collab opportunities for designers. For details on the event and this design, please check the following links: #furrjoi #siliconeshow more

In the past year, we created tons of designs... just to explore ideas, improve our craft, and post on X. Website sections, mobile app screens, dashboards, logos all sitting in our Figma files now. Instead of letting them stay unused, we’re releasing them as a free design library for everyone to copy, learn from, and repurpose. Launching soon. Comment if you want early access.show more

GPT-5.6 Sol is unbelievably good at creating and editing... videos. It can do motion design, product demos, and animations like this one I made by simply giving it a screen recording. GPT 5.6 has the best design taste and significantly outperforms Fable, which relies heavily on repetitive design patterns. To help you experiment with video editing on it, we just launched a collection of 100 ready-to-use skills that show what’s possible and help you get started with video editing using GPT-5.6. These skills can create anything from motion graphics launch videos for your product to a 3B1B-style science explainer video. You can also use them to edit existing videos: add captions, generate motion graphics, create voiceovers, redesign visual styles, translate into new languages, and much more. If you want access to the full library, comment “VIDEO SKILLS” and I’ll share it with you. (You'll have to follow me so I can DM you.)show more

As promised! New blog with Josh Newton combining our... talks from AI Engineer's first design track. In addition, we wanted to actually show a demonstration of how you can iterate and improve upon that first design output from AI. We had a ton of fun building the interactions for this post (especially the horse animator hahaha). Would love to hear your thoughts!show more

Okay I owe you guys an apology. I've been... using AI wrong this entire time. literally burning hours in figma trying to build sections when Claude Design does the same thing in minutes. And somehow it's responsive??. Take my money Claude, all of it. I'll build out more sections, and share progress with you fine people. 🎯 Yeah, whole stack is getting redone. #claudeshow more

Today we just installed the fourth CNC machine on... our shop floor which was built entirely in-house. If we hadn’t invested years into R&D and machine development, we’d still be importing this equipment and sending thousands of dollars out of the country for the same capability. Today, for this particular capacity, we operate more machines of our own design than imported ones. That shift wasn’t overnight and it didn’t come cheap. But it was worth it. Many more to come.show more

There’s a feeling of “wtf is a designer anymore”... floating around… I felt it while scrolling Reddit after Figma Make was announced 😬 For some people it simply didn’t compute that a code prototype could be a design artifact. But I’ll let you in on a little secret… A few days ago I visited a well-known design leader and he said that in the last 6 months, ~40% of their team's design artifacts are now created in Lovable, Bolt, etc. That’s kind of crazy, right? It's a big reason why Ioana Teleanu (1st AI designer at Miro) said design is "in the middle of an identity crisis" So Ioana and I went deep into this topic during today's episode and I want to share a few ideas I’m still thinking about: ——— We’re in a weird moment in history where there are AI designers and non-AI designers. But this is a blip on the timeline as adoption accelerates. The idea of "AI designer" won't exist in the future Here's what Ioana said 👇 “We’re all gonna be thinking about some sort of AI angle in the way we do our work. I don’t even feel that the AI design role will exist in this explicit format in a couple of years. All the designers will be AI designers” I want to make something clear though... Ioana described herself as generally “change averse” and the type of person who "DOESN'T jump on new things" That’s why her initial approach to AI was a bit less intentional… But now she’s changed her tune: “We have a moral duty to experiment with these technologies because we're designers and we should be curious about the world, and we should be curious about the future.” The cost of ignoring new technology has never been higher So if you’re interested in what it looks like to design AI experiences within your existing product then I think you’ll really enjoy this week's episode Ioana shares a ton of lessons learned from Miro and frameworks for how she helps clients integrate AI effectively 👇show more

Claude Fable 5 + Claude Design is f*cking insane... 🤯 Anthropic just dropped its most intelligent model ever, and the first thing I pointed it at was email design. I built a complete email campaign design in Claude Design, and the difference is night and day: tighter layouts, cleaner hierarchy, on-brand from the first generation. All inside Claude Design with Fable 5. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who are still paying email agencies $3-5K/month for campaign designs that take 2 weeks to ship. If your campaign calendar is packed but every new email means briefing a designer, waiting on mockups, sending notes, and waiting again... This workflow eliminates the entire bottleneck: → Load your brand design system into Claude Design once (colors, fonts, logo, button styling) → Switch the model to Claude Fable 5 — Anthropic's new state-of-the-art model with the best vision of any AI → Prompt the campaign email section by section: header, hero, headline, offer block, CTA → Fable 5 nails layout and brand details that older models fumbled → Iterate inline — swap images, adjust styling, color-pick directly in the canvas → Export the finished email and hand off to your ESP No briefing a designer. No 2-week turnaround on a single campaign. No paying an agency $4K/month for 4 emails. What you get: → Campaign emails designed in minutes, not weeks → A reusable design system every new email pulls from automatically → Noticeably smarter design decisions from Fable 5's upgraded vision → Full inline editing before anything touches your ESP Built 100% with Claude Design + Claude Fable 5. I recorded a full walkthrough showing exactly how this works. Want it for free? > Like this post > Comment "FABLE" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)show more

alright this is new never heard of people doing... this on purpose Cream City Tattoo. Saint Cloud, MN · Mac’s face healed up a little more than he cared for after the first scalpel scarification, so we opened it up a bit more with some cautery today. We also did this design on the inner forearm. Cautery is very similar to tattooing in many ways, and has 100% no pain immediately after the procedure.show more

Claude Design + Shopify is f*cking ridiculous 🤯 You... can now publish pages from Claude Design → Claude Code → Shopify. Built 100% with Claude Design, Claude Code, and the Shopify CLI. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who want to skip the design → dev handoff entirely. Here's how it works: → Design any landing page in Claude Design → Export as a zip and drop it into Claude Code → Install the Shopify + Shopify AI Toolkit plugins → Prompt Claude to convert the HTML into a Shopify page template + push to live theme → Claude uploads the images, deploys the files, and creates a published page No more handing designs off to a dev and waiting 2 weeks for a Shopify page. What you get: - A workflow that turns any Claude Design page into a real Shopify page template - Editable sections so your marketing team can swap copy, images, and CTAs without code - Images uploaded straight to Shopify Files automatically - A files-only deploy that only touches what's new in your live theme - A repeatable pipeline you can use every time you design a new landing page This is essentially the design-to-deploy pipeline brands have been waiting for. I put together a step-by-step playbook for going from Claude Design → published Shopify page. Every install, every plugin, every command, and the exact prompt that runs the whole thing. Want the playbook for free? > Like this post > Comment "SHOP" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)show more

ROBOMAEDA TALK TODAY: Thank you to Professor Hiroshi Ishii... 石井 裕 as the inspiration for my talk today at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) MIT Media Lab on "life as a hybrid." And it's not going to be my Azure AI Avatar talking for me today -- it'll be the real me. I think ... Date: November 8 (Friday), 11am Boston time Talk info at MIT: Zoom livestream (free): ** --- Building A Hybrid Career Across Tech, Business, And Design. Or, ”How I Learned to Speak Human After Leaving MIT :-)” What happens when a computer science major steps out of MIT and into design, business, and leadership? In “How I Learned To Speak Human After Leaving MIT :-),” I’ll share how leaving the Media Lab in 2008 set me on an unexpected path—from advocating for the arts with the STEAM movement at RISD to navigating venture capital, startups, and industries of all scales. Does being a multidisciplinary “hybrid” thinker and doer enhance or limit one’s career prospects? Through insights from my own journey, I’ll explore the unique challenges and opportunities hybrids face today, offering key takeaways for those building careers across multiple disciplines. This talk brings my journey full circle—from the early foundations of AI in the 80s to the dawn of a new AI-powered industrial revolution. --- Related links: - “Design Against AI” / Design in Tech Report 2024 at SXSW - “The Art and Craft of Business Resilience” / LinkedIn Learning - “Mr. Maeda’s Cozy AI Kitchen” / Learn LLM Coding Easy as CAIK - “Design, Business, Inclusion” / LinkedIn Learning - “How art, technology, and design inform creative leaders” / TED 2012show more

I CREATED A PRODUCT WITH A MORE HUMAN DESIGN... USING Envato #envatochallenge Contra. Instead of relying only on AI, I stepped outside to find inspiration in the real world. I explored different places, captured my own photographs, studied colours, textures, shapes, and details, then combined those real-life elements into a single product design. AI can generate images, but it can't replace the experience of discovering inspiration with your own eyes. Every photo I took became a piece of the final creation, making the product feel authentic, personal, and impossible to recreate through prompts alone. Envato Tools i used for creating this product: Gen Ai - ImageGen - ImageEdit - VideoGen - MusicGen - Mockup Gen Stock - Photo - Videos - Video templates - Luts - Music - Sound Effects - Fonts #HumanByDesign #CreativeProcess #Design #AIshow more
