You CANNOT get picked. 2) If it’s not a ball or if it is not hit, good chance you will be thrown out. 3) Roll your head to pick up contact to avoid being deked by the middle infielders(Somewhere between 1st & 3rd step) 4) Careful not to come off the base on your slide. Even on ball 4 if you over slide you are out. 5) Give the hitter steal verses giving him hit & run. On 3 ball hit & runs, hitters occasionally lose the count & swing at ball four. 6) This is basically a run & hit w/o a + jump at 1B. Our hope is the hitter gets a good pitch to hit & is able to drive the ball in the gap or walk if it is a ball.show more
