Microsoft is testing a new feature in Windows 11... called Low Latency Profile that gives a short boost to your CPU for 1 to 3 seconds when you open apps or menus. Early tests show Microsoft apps like Edge and Outlook open up to 40% faster, while the Start menu and other menus can load up to 70% faster, with CPU use jumping high for a few seconds then dropping right back down. Microsoft says this is normal because Apple does it in macOS and Linux, plus phones use the same type of quick CPU boosts for better speed. Windows 11’s June 2026 Patch Tuesday update is out... today, and the biggest change is Performance, not AI. Windows 11 KB5094126 finally brings Microsoft’s new Low Latency Profile to everyone. Microsoft calls it a “General Performance” improvement, but the idea is simple: when you open Start, Search, Action Center, or key shell experiences, Windows briefly pushes the CPU to max frequency for 1–3 seconds so the UI responds faster. I tested it earlier, and the difference is most obvious on budget PCs. Start feels snappier, Search opens faster, and those tiny Windows 11 micro-stutters are reduced. The catch: because of Microsoft’s Controlled Feature Rollout, installing today’s update does not guarantee it is enabled yet. I revisited my #UE5 blackhole project recently. Updated the... lighting. Before the light was only coming from the photon sphere around the event horizon. Normal throws have a frame windows between 12-14 frames.... It seems in this scenario if you spam a normal throw after wall-slump db2 the opponent will get up in to a guaranteed throw at 14f. Can be crouched. Cool tech.show more

Xenoverse 2's Infinite History DLC seems to have gotten... a bug with the recent XV2 update. If you play the "Rivaled only by One" path in the "Unwelcome Challenger" quest, the game will crash once Vegeta wants to transform into Super Saiyan. So far I can only confirm this issue exists on Xbox, I tested it on my PlayStation as well and the quest worked fine there. 370+ hours later and I finally stumbled onto a... second quest where you use a shovel. And you only tap the ground with it once. 💀 Outside of using one at excavation sites (which I have yet to do), I can't think of a solid use for this tool.
