PUDGY PENGUINS' PENGU SOLANA VALIDATOR CROSSES 100,000 SOL STAKED... Pudgy Penguins announced over 100,000 $SOL has been staked to the Pengu SOL Validator, a milestone for one of the few NFT-brand-operated validators on Solana. Stakers earn competitive APY while contributing to the institutional adoption pathway for the Pengu ecosystem. Pudgy Penguins continues to outflank the rest of the NFT pack on infrastructure plays. The solana:2zMMhcVQEXDtdE6vsFS7S7D5oUodfJHE8vd1gnBouauv token, mainstream brand deals (Walmart toys, Lufthansa partnership, Hulu animated series), and now a scaled validator on Solana give the project an operational footprint that most origin NFT projects never reach.show more

Solana’s active validator count has fallen from 2,100 to... ~800 in the last 3 years. Why? > small-mid size validators are being pruned by Solana since April 2025 > inflation rewards dropping from 6% to 1.5% > SFDP decreased stake matching from 100% to 50%, this will trend to 0% Validators are dying from the burden of their huge operating costs. This is where Toby's OpenMEV comes in. > OpenMEV is the new yield layer > accrues and distributes on-chain rewards to validators and stakers > cuts off malicious MEVs > promotes Good MEVs that makes Solana efficient > makes on-chain activities safer > validators earns more from OpenMEV rewards Staker wins. Validator wins. Solana wins. Toby wins. You are not prepared for the new yield primitive. 😏 OpenMEV.show more

Bitcoin miners help elect Core validators without mining a... second chain Miners keep mining Bitcoin exactly as usual, but to back a Core DAO 🔶 validator, they add one line to the transaction in the "op_return" field, which pays out each block's mining reward and provides a small space for arbitrary data. That line names the validator they support and an address for coredaoorg:native payouts, giving miners a second reward stream on top of their bitcoin:native without any extra computation, per Core's docs. Core recalculates validator scores daily using delegation data from one week prior, one of three inputs alongside staked CORE and time-locked Bitcoin.show more

Shibarium runs on BONE, but the staking that secures... it lives on Ethereum ethereum:0x9813037ee2218799597d83d4a5b6f3b6778218d9 pays gas on Shibarium, yet the staking that secures the chain does not happen on Shibarium at all. Validators and delegators lock BONE in contracts sitting on Ethereum mainnet, per Shib's documentation. The design is modeled on Polygon's proof-of-stake architecture. A validator layer called Heimdall bundles periodic snapshots of Shibarium's state, called checkpoints, and submits them to Ethereum. A separate layer, Bor, produces the blocks and executes transactions, with block producers drawn from the validator set. Anchoring stake and checkpoints to Ethereum ties Shibarium's record to the larger network's security.show more

XRP’s Centralization Debate Took a Major Hit Asset manager,... 21Shares, has challenged one of the longest-running criticisms surrounding ripple:native and Ripple’s relationship with the XRP Ledger. The asset manager says Ripple operates only one validator among roughly 35 on the default trusted list. XRP Ledger has more than 150 validators in total as per its documentation. For protocol changes, a minimum of 80% of the validators need to agree, which further reduces the control of Ripple. According to 21Shares, Ripple’s dominance does not equate to control over transaction validation.show more

Announcing JupSOL – the highest yield LST on Solana,... with trustless delegation to Jupiter’s Validator. This validator has 0% fees and 100% MEV kickback and currently has an additional 100K SOL delegated to increase the yield on JupSOL. This will likely make JupSOL the highest yielding LST right now across all of Solana, until the APY normalizes and JupSOL completes it's bootstrapping phase. This enhanced APY will begin at the next Solana epoch, which you can view at This validator is a crucial part of our plan to help our users land transactions better on Jupiter. More stake on this validator will allow Jupiter to send more transactions and reduce transactions affected by congestion. This validator is run by Triton One 🌊🌋, and we’re very grateful to have their expertise in ensuring the validator is world-class. JupSOL is also powered by Sanctum ☁️, allowing users to swap for and out of JupSOL while plugging into deep liquidity on Sanctum’s router.
