I’ve felt a real shift in #JamesBond joy since... the films imploded, with turgid novels, recycled tat and long studio delays. I’ve just not felt any desire to invest in #FirstLight. A random 007 origin game wrapped up as another noisy shooter. I miss the old days.🍸show more

This has to be up there as one of... the cringiest, most embarrassing things I’ve done. The self wedgie inflicted a healthy dose of discomfort and only added to just how ridiculous and foolish I felt… 😬🤡show more

Amy Acton (Dr. Amy Acton) mixed up Cleveland and... Cincinnati before launching into a Kamala Harris (Kamala Harris) style word salad: “I just met with this, the business community in Clee, in Cincinnati yesterday. I came up here for another meeting with business. I’ve been this very special type of physician, preventive medicine and public health. I’m sixty years old. I’ve been doing it a long time, since way back when.” If you don’t know the difference between Cleveland and Cincinnati, you have no business being Governor of Ohio.show more

I was blessed with tickets to the Royal Rumble... this year. I’ve been a lifelong wrestling fan and had never been to a show. The best part about the night was not the show itself, but getting to see joy in my sons face that I haven’t seen since his brother was murdered.show more

If 10+ yrs of gymnastics taught me anything, it’s... that you need far less than you think to stay in good shape I didn’t touch a dumbbell until I was 21. In gymnastics, you only train with your bodyweight The times I’ve felt and looked my best, I just walked a lot and only trained bodyweight gymnastics (calisthenics)show more

Actress Olivia Colman has spoken candidly about her enduring... relationship with the queer community, and how she came to learn more about trans people. Speaking to Them alongside Hyde, Colman, 52, reflected on how she stepped into the role of Hannah who, while not queer herself, is on the periphery of queerness due to her relationship with her father and child. “I think it’s a community that I love being welcomed into. I find the most loving and the most beautiful stories are from that community. And I feel really honoured to be welcomed. Throughout my whole life, I’ve had arguments with people where I’ve always felt sort of non-binary,” she explained. “I’ve never felt massively feminine in my being female. I’ve always described myself to my husband as a gay man. And he goes, ‘Yeah, I get that’ And so I do feel at home and at ease. I feel like I have a foot in various camps. I know many people who do. I don’t really spend an awful lot of time with people who are very staunchly heterosexual.”show more

Look at that horizon! Hear the creaking! 🤢🥲 Not... going to lie, I am struggling, mostly with the relentlessness of so many rough sea days one after the other. This definitely isn’t the roughest seas I’ve had and I’ve felt much much worse before, but never so many sea days in a row. 😅🚢 I’m so grateful I’m not a crew member because I am useless for anything much other than napping. I did have grand plans to catch up on a lot of work while here but that’s not happening. 😂😂 It’s a shame because she’s such a brilliant ship, the entertainment is great, the staff have been lovely and there’s lots of yummy food, but I don’t feel I can take full advantage of it. 🤢🥲 Ps, has anybody ever tried hypnotherapy for seasickness? I’ve tried every prevention and remedy in the world over the last 19 years and now I’d try anything. Seasickness is so miserable. 😅🙏🏼show more

Dear Genshin Impact fans, In my nodkrai video I... said that Natlan’s music was nice but felt shallow, my mistake in this was not elaborating on why. I said it in passing and didn’t consider the word choice. I’m gathering that people assumed I was referring to the PLACES being represented by the music Which is preposterous because I would never criticize a culture or place, as I’ve always felt that is genshin’s strongest element. I assumed you would know it was obvious I was talking about the musical composition and structure not what that music represented (the people and the places) I’m sorry if you felt that I was spitting in the face of your culture. As a multicultural person myself and soon to be married to a multicultural person as well, I would never ever do that. I am saddened that you may have felt that. That said, subjectively, I felt natlan’s music was nice. But, a bit too easy listening to my taste. Part of the reason I have filmed so many Genshin videos is due to the musical complexity it showcases. Not just in the western soundscape but also in other regions that are represented. You’ll recall I defended this very thing a year ago when the music was representing African culture. At that time I was lambasted on this platform for saying that people of color were not being represented properly in game. I’m perplexed why you would think I’m suggesting the opposite now, even going so far as have people claim I am “racist” which is a bridge too far. In any event, I’m sorry for any hurt feelings. It’s clear to me that if I’m going to say something, I should be clear about what I mean.show more

The past year has seen me have a renaissance,... in the truest sense… I won’t go into details now but will at some point before long. What has brought so much happiness to my life and those around me this past year has been my falling back in love with sport. Cycling has, and always will be, my number one. Yet I’d forgotten that I simply love sport, not for results but for the sheer joy of doing it, I’d completely forgotten that the health of my mind is intrinsically connected to the health of my body. I’ve rediscovered the love I had for sport that existed before the world of professional cycling took over in the way it did. I’ve been pushing myself and trying new things this past year, indifferent to the results, just out having fun and at times going deeper than I thought I was capable of anymore. Last week I got on a TT bike for the first time in a decade, Factor Bikes built me a bike, I’ve been looking at it for two years and decided it was time to get fitted, getting back on it felt like going home. Anyway, the long and the short of this is that it’s inspired me to create a club to inspire and be inspired. A community for us to share our love for getting out there and doing it, because I’ve realized that although I spend most of my sporting life on my own I derive the most pleasure when feeling part of something. It’s in its early days, I’ve called it Sporting Club CHPT3 aka SCC3, I’d love you to check it out and join. It’s still in its infancy, but I hope it’s going to grow into something that will inspire you as much as me.show more

This tiny umeboshi has completely bewitched me. I want... to add it to everything. What an amazing superfood. Tonight I made umeboshi onigiri three ways: chopped umeboshi mixed in with sides rolled in black and white sesame seeds; nori-wrapped with umeboshi plum in the center to look like the Hinomaru (Japanese flag); and umeboshi yaki onigiri stuffed with BBQ chicken, a dash of Japanese barbecue sauce, extra umeboshi—brushed with sesame oil and tamari while grilling—and sides rolled in furikake. Not sure if barbecue-stuffed onigiri is a thing, but it felt right to me. Out of all the onigiri I’ve made, these are my favorites. 🍙show more
