I built a PDF compression tool instead of paying... for it. It's funny because the more I get into AI, the more I realize how much I've stopped spending on SaaS subscriptions. No weird features or ads. Everything is hosted locally so I'm not uploading my data to random servers. I truly believe AI is changing the way we interact with SaaS entirely. More and more people will just build their own tools instead of purchasing generic subscriptions. It's easier because you just tell AI what problem you have, and it automatically comes up with a custom solution for you. I am already starting doing it.
