Opus 5.5 just filed a pull request that changes... the streaming behavior in T3 code. It's so cool that I can send off a prompt with a vague idea of what I want, and the result is a ready-to-merge pull request with a video demo of the changes directly in the PR. The PRs I make with AI are significantly better than the ones I used to make by hand. The future is awesome.show more

Sparse allocation/rendering of SDF bricks is now working! The... pipeline is fully GPU-driven - a series of compute shaders that manages brick allocation/baking in a 3D texture atlas, followed by draw-indirect for rendering. Still a lot more work to do, including automatic LOD.show more

everyone is vibe coding games with AI and Three.js.... that inspired me to *raw code* a game with C and no libraries. 💪 plan is to set up a proper PBR rendering pipeline today, and then will start prototyping some gameplay. this is going to be fun 😁show more

🇮🇷🇦🇪 Iran's Strike on Habshan-Fujairah Pipeline Endpoint was Strategic... Today's strike hit the VTTI terminal at Fujairah port, which is the endpoint of the Habshan-Fujairah pipeline, not the pipeline itself. The UAE just quit OPEC to escape production limits and bet everything on the Habshan-Fujairah pipeline. It was their only route to export oil WITHOUT passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Capacity: 1.5 million barrels a day, expandable to 1.8 million. Today's drone strike was not the attack. It was the REMINDER that Iran wants to maintain the stranglehold on the energy markets until the war ends.show more

There are a lot of challenges when building a... massive VFX shot, and compositing plays a critical role in the final result. It would be near impossible to balance all of these FX and layers directly in the 3D render, not to mention the speed of iteration you get with Nuke is insane. Just finished recording the compositing module for the 25h workshop coming soon! Save 25% if you enroll now: I would also like to extend a warm welcome to everyone who joined!
