The northern white rhino is officially extinct in the... wild mainly because of humans. Poaching for their horns wiped out huge numbers, while farms and settlements destroyed the land they needed. The last male, Sudan, died in Kenya in 2018, leaving just two females, Najin and her daughter Fatu who now live at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya under 24/7 armed guard. They cannot naturally reproduce, so the subspecies is functionally extinct. Scientists are using IVF and frozen sperm to create embryos, with southern white rhinos as surrogates. Dozens of embryos exist now, and there was even a confirmed pregnancy, but the surrogate rhino carrying the embryo died around 70 days into the pregnancy from an unrelated infection, so no calf has been born yet. The work continues, and a northern white rhino baby could still happen.show more

over 350 species of reptiles, South Africa is the... most reptile-rich country in Africa. Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is home to a variety of snake species, including the puff adder. Here are a few fun facts about puff adders you may not know... 1. Masters of Camouflage: Puff adders blend incredibly well into their surroundings, thanks to their cryptic colouration. They often lie motionless, which makes them hard to spot - and easy to accidentally step on! 2. The "Puff" in Puff Adder: Their name comes from the loud hissing or "puffing" sound they make when threatened - a warning to stay back. 3. They move using a method called rectilinear locomotion, sliding in a straight line by contracting and stretching their belly muscles - slow, but stealthy! Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is the key to unlocking the Little Karoo.show more

You would never know this bunny has a massive... obstruction in her gut and is in a life threatening condition right now. This is Anya I’m shaking because I’m so worried, she’ll be in intensive care tonight. Rabbits pretend to be ok because predators always target the weakest bunny in the warren. They can look fine while nursing the most horrific injuries. She wasn’t excited about her treats so I checked her over. Her belly was hard and swollen so I rushed her to the vet. Most people would look at her and have no idea she’s suffering and this is why they live on average a year when they should reach 15! Please be ok Anya. 😣show more

The fandom right now feels like a sinking ship.... Everyone’s just scrambling to prove they were on the “right side,” so when it finally goes under, they can either jump and pretend they were never on board or stay, silently waiting for someone else to come and save it. I’ve never seen a fandom this toxic so many are just waiting for a chance to trample over all the effort and hard work with no shame if you don’t like what someone is doing you can just ignore them !! But honestly, it doesn’t matter anymore. Because actions will always speak louder than words. And I still believe in us. We’re going to survive this. and we will save the ship. ✨✨Here’s you second shot for today 🫶🏼 #HudutsuzSveda #MirayDaner #DenizCanAktaş #ZeynapKarasushow more

Pro-Palestinians who dared to find workarounds to lawfully protest... were later found and swarmed by cops and escorted out (if they weren’t arrested, this happened too simply for walking in an area) This cop in particular had a “no fear” tattoo in Hebrew so I looked him up out of curiosity. Full on Zionist. 43 division. Pass it on if you’re in the Scarborough area. Muslims and Palestinians will want to avoid there if they need to report anything (Also, I fully support the way they’re speaking to the cops. In fact, I think it’s quite restrained. If I had to face someone who ideologically and/or financially was supporting the people who murdered my family, while also preventing me from lawfully protesting about it, while also treating me like a second class citizen, I don’t imagine I would have this type of control.)show more

She came. She shook the stage. She walked off.... Her name is Sara Ismail.👌🏾 At the convocation ceremony of Haridev Joshi University of Journalism & Mass Communication, on a stage shared with Rajasthan Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa. Why she said this? Read her remark - “Students from the last two batches arrived in Jaipur to get their degrees from the Governor. We were asked to wear sarees with a red border; male students were wearing kurta pyjamas and black sandals. Students from all over the state, along with their parents, arrived at the venue. After the speeches of the Governor and the dignitaries, which went on for around two hours, only gold medallists were given degrees on stage and the rest of us were asked to collect ours later. This is why we got angry and asked the administration to reconsider, and when they refused, we chanted slogans against them. Later, they gave us our degrees, but the anger was so high that I said that line. So much of our time was wasted." More power to you Sara. 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾show more

What’s happened over time is this: modern instruction has... become very position-based, while the greats—like Jack Nicklaus—were built on motion, sequence, and intent. So when teachers look at Nicklaus today, they often see: •Inside takeaway → “too far inside” •Across the line → “out of position” •Over-the-top move → “wrong path” •Early extension → “loss of posture” But that’s judging a living motion by frozen positions. The fundamentals that power his swing are no longer understood. Nicklaus wasn’t built on perfect positions—he was built on sequence, timing, and motion. A powerful shift before the top. A natural re-route of the club as he turned the corner. A vertical release that kept the face stable under pressure. It wasn’t textbook. It was effective. The great players didn’t all look the same—but they were built on the same timeless principles. Those principles haven’t changed… they’ve just been forgotten. I’ll be breaking this down step by step in my free webinar on the Classic Golf Swing, March 30th at 8pm and March 31st at 6pm. There’s a link to register in the first comment!show more

❗️❗️🇺🇦 Ukrainian Madjar’s Birds brigade operators demonstrate B-2 medium-range... drone operations to NRK, targeting Russian logistics along southern corridors. 🇺🇦 The operators of the Ukrainian Unmanned Forces “Madjar’s Birds” brigade showed NRK the process of working with B-2 type medium-range drones 🇳🇴 The Norwegian TV company NRK was at the positions of the 6th Battalion of the “Madjar’s Birds” unmanned systems brigade at the moment of launching B-2 type drones. Before launch, technicians attach the warhead separately from below (approximately 8 kg of explosives). The launch is carried out from a catapult, and the work is carried out around the clock and not only at night, under the light of a red lantern, as it used to be. ▪️ The target is the enemy’s logistics along the main roads of the southern corridor, so that the Russian Federation cannot deliver drones, fuel, and ammunition. “We destroy the conditions by means of which they can get there,” — explains Robert Brovdi Madjar. 🦅 According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, strikes with medium-range drones are now carried out 28 times more often than a year ago. ▪️ Previous strikes disabled part of the Russian radar stations (RLS) and air defense (AD) means, which opened “corridors” for B-2 flights with less risk…. Iran fired two ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia this... week. That’s a tiny British-American dot in the Indian Ocean that most people couldn’t find on a map, which is precisely why it matters. The range was 4,000 kilometers. Four thousand. To put that in perspective, 4,000 kilometers from Tehran gets you to Rome. Athens. Cairo. Southern Europe is well within reach. London and Paris are further, but don’t sleep too well either. This is not what Tehran told anyone their missiles could do. So either they’ve been lying, or the intelligence community has been spectacularly wrong. Possibly both. One missile failed mid-flight, which is the kind of thing that happens when you build intercontinental weapons in a country that can’t keep the lights on. The other was shot down by a U.S. warship with an SM-3 interceptor, which Trump has already counted as winning the war. For the third time. Now here’s the bit nobody wants to say out loud: the strike came hours after Britain’s Keir Starmer gave Washington permission to use Diego Garcia to bomb Iranian missile sites. So Iran bombed the base we lent them. With a missile nobody knew they had. The war just acquired a completely new dimension. And the man in the White House is busy declaring victory. Iran decides when this stops. Not him. Gandalv / Gandalvshow more

This fact absolutely shatters evolution. ...And makes the intelligent... design in Life certain. All the systems in Life that make things function - like everything that enables birds to fly - require a whole set of complex interconnected parts. Nothing works in isolation. Something evolutionists overlook is how the nature of all these systems are intricately interconnected. Every part relies on something else to make it work. You need the whole system, down to the DNA itself, or the function fails. This coordinattion between so many systems makes step-by-step evolution all but impossible. For instance... A wing isn’t just bones and feathers (or membrane). A wing requires a certain type of hollow bones, which the alleged ancestors of birds didn't have. And wings by themselves are useless - what reproductive benefit would wings have without the accompanying systems that lead to actual flight (the simultaneous requirements for bone pneumatization, muscle attachment sites, feather or membrane development, and the regulatory changes that control all of them)? Wings without these features would be harmful. Hollow bones without flight would be detrimental. The step-by-step path leading from non-bird to flying birds is filled with easily killed, unselectable intermediates. This is where evolutionists constantly fail - they look at modification in isolation, without considering that these systems are large, interconnected networks of functional parts all working together. And it all starts at the genetic level, from the DNA itself. DNA genes code for proteins. Regulatory information organizes when these proteins are built and how much should be made. Further regulatory systems coordinate where these proteins go after they’re built. And yet more informational networks place the proteins into the final system in coordination with other proteins. Then these protein systems are fit together to make entire organs, tissues, bones, etc. All of these systems and processes are coordinated from the DNA - which means major modification like turning a fish fin into a bird wing requires many coordinated DNA changes across the entire network. One change at a time simply cannot lead to the coordination of an entire multi-part coordinated system like this. A mutation that changes one protein would need another coordinated mutation to fit that mutated protein into the right place, which would require other proteins to be mutated to fit together into that system, which would also require yet more regulatory mutations to keep everything coordinated... Nothing works in isolation. It's all connected. Which is why it can't evolve one step at a time. One step at a time does nothing. Life requires all or nothing systems. Only intelligence can engineer all or nothing systems.show more

"Why are young women using walking sticks?" One of... the newer trends among Leftists is to use walking sticks or wheelchairs. I've seen this going on for a long time, but didn't think much of it until this article came out several days ago and Leftists had meltdowns over it. The people doing it tend to be fully capable of walking and functioning perfectly fine when they're in the mood to do it. They almost always identify as some form of LGBT, tend to be female, are often overweight, usually don't work, and are often self diagnosed with things like ADHD, chronic pain, fatigue, migraines..., which they claim cause their disabilities. There are countless people with actual disabilities who are often in severe pain, truly have issues with walking, are missing limbs, mostly paralyzed, have difficulty speaking, are deaf or blind, have different diseases that they fight against every day..., yet they try their best to function like most people, work, get degrees, have families, socialize.... People with true disabilities tend to treat them like abilities. They have something that may be seen as a a disability, but instead treat it as a slight disadvantage that pushes them try doing just as good, if not better than everyone else. They don't make it their whole identity. These "disabled" Leftists on the other hand make it their whole identity. Their bios and posts are full of them trying to push how "disabled" they are. The real disability of theirs is laziness and feeling the need to victimize themselves in order to get attention that they don't get otherwise and probably didn't get enough of when they were younger. There is now "disability pride month" to push how much of a victim their self diagnosis made them because they need a month to remind you of it every day instead of every other day. I'm all for having a month, week, or day to celebrate truly disabled people who overcome their disabilities every day, but most of what I've seen is these scumbags taking over such things. These same people would have a meltdown over "cultural appropriation," yet here they are pretending to be disabled. It's a disgrace.show more
