Docking? ✅ Our Blue Docking System team successfully completed... soft capture system testing at @NASA_Johnson's Six-Degree-Of-Freedom Dynamic Test facility. This test completes a key milestone on our Commercial LEO Destinations (CLD) contract. The fully vertically integrated system will fly first on our Blue Moon MK2 Lunar Lander, then on Orbital Reef and future vehicles. Huey Crashes During Flight Test On December 2, 1977,... a U.S. Army UH-1H Huey crashed while attempting an autorotation landing during flight testing of the experimental MULTEWS (Multiple Target Electronic Warfare System) at Edwards Air Force Base. The externally mounted MULTEWS significantly degraded the helicopter's performance and handling, leading to the termination of the flight test program. Another one in the books - the New Glenn... team just finished NG-2's aft module activation test. This test activates the hydrogen peroxide system that powers the aft module hydraulics and conducts a shortened mission simulation of the integrated system. The four auxiliary power units, or APUs, produce a combined peak of 1,000 horsepower to drive the hydraulic pumps, roughly equivalent to the power of a modern F1 car. Next, we will mate the aft module to the rest of GS1 and install our seven BE-4 engines.show more

NEWS: For the first time, SpaceX's Dragon capsule just... successfully performed a reboot demo using its Draco thrusters to alter the International Space Station's altitude. NASA gave SpaceX the contract to deorbit the ISS & send it into the ocean at the end of its lifetime in 2031. Meanwhile in China: China has developed a new acoustic-optical system for countering UAVs. The Chinese company Beijing Ribri Technology has unveiled an integrated drone defense system. The system operates using a multi-stage algorithm: acoustic sensors detect the sound of an approaching drone, artificial intelligence recognizes and identifies the target, and thermal imaging cameras and laser rangefinders determine the precise coordinates and lock onto the object for continued tracking. If you think pre season is a joke then... you have no idea how difficult it is for players to stay in shape and most of this training are connected to how the team wants to play during the season. This is what the first few days in the pre season looks like and medicals like blood test, flexibility check, mobility test, VO2Max test, and the heart test to see if the heart is healthy. My personal view on pre season test is that I hated the VO2Max test and if you are not fit enough the pass the test which usually last for just 15 minutes. When I was at Vitesse Arnhem and Red star Belgrade my medicals took 3days to be completed and it was the longest I ever had. If you don't take your off season trainings seriously you will be exposed on the first day of pre season test and you will be in trouble with the coach.show more
