Keeping that sharp elbow when the arm bends. Rigging... Tip: don't oversmooth your weight paint, joints shouldn't turn into round blobs. Study reference videos to see where anatomy (like elbows and knees) is sharp during a bend. Don't rely on helper bones as bandaid. #b3d #vrchatshow more

You don't need extra corrective bones for elbows, if... you have good topology, bone placement and weightpainting! Same applies for knees. It's that simple. #b3dshow more

I think many people missed my point and started... being suspicious and/or mean for literally no reason. I'm just sharing my knowledge and experience. I was only showing how I can retain a sharp elbow shape when arm is bent. Some people rig an extra bone to keep that sharp elbow. I'm showing that you don't necessarily need it. That's literally all I wanted to convey. Strategic topology + weightpaint can do so much if you're not making hyperrealism. It has its limits, but it's up to you how far you want to push the limits. I prefer simplicity for convenience as far as it allows me. I personally do anime and stylistic stuff, leaning towards aesthetic rigging solutions over hyperrealism in some cases. I like when things just look nice and smooth. If you only want to focus on the very extreme cases of bending limbs and fat/muscle movement, that's fine, but it was not the focus in previous video.show more

Young children's elbow joints are still developing, and a... sudden pull on the arm can cause nursemaid's elbow, also called a pulled elbow. The injury happens when the radial head slips partially out of position beneath a ligament near the elbow. It can occur when a child is pulled, swung, or lifted by the hands or forearms. A child with nursemaid's elbow may suddenly stop using the affected arm and keep it close to their body.show more

Only 10 kg, but the execution is on point.... This is a perfect reminder that more weight doesn’t automatically mean better results. With single-arm cable pushdowns, controlling the eccentric, keeping the elbow stable, and getting a full range of motion can make a lighter weight seriously challenging. And those triceps are looking solid. Sometimes form over weight is exactly what you need to keep progressing.show more

The volume of the muscles doesn't usually change much.... Only the distribution of the mass. When the biceps contract, they don't bulge near the elbow. Save this for later, or - even better - suggest a great anatomy tip that has helped you and I'l credit and @ you when I post an animation of it later.show more
