Made a quick haptic feedback prototype for hand-tracking interactions... with a voxel. Felt fun and engaging. It's another level of immersiveness (unfortunately, the video is not able to convey this). Visual design alone can make an interactive experience great, but if you want to make it exceptional, DIFFERENT, this is where haptic design plays the key role. The device on my wrist is from the Hapticlabs.io Prototyping Kit (the thing on my index fingertip is called Linear Resonant Actuator). It's a beautiful, simple-to-use tool. Found a good case for it in my experiments :) To get hand-tracking data, I used the Leap Motion controller (Computer Vision Camera), which is excellent for quick prototypes like this. I saw people experimenting with gloves to build a solid haptic feedback system for XR. It's great for advanced immersive experiences (video games/simulators/interactive entertainment). But for many day-to-day use cases (productivity/OS/media entertainment), having just a "simple" thimble that provides the haptic feedback for the "touching" fingertip will already significantly improve the UX. Hope we will have something like this from our major XR vendors in the near future.show more

Lil Kim posted a video of her attempting to do the dance and didn’t tag him until days later of receiving backlash. She then took it up a notch. Lil Kim went on national television to give a tutorial on how you do the dance when in fact she wasn’t doing all the correct moves. She went up there giving credit to Doja Cat & had everyone saying “Do The Doja”. The dance is called “The Riko”. Doja did his challenge but Kim giving her credit for it. At it's peak, it's suspected over 100,000 devices were infected by Angler Exploit Kit, bringing in a revenue of around $34,000,000. J.P. Morgan's arrest coincides with the arrest of Belarus national Maksim Silnikau a/k/a 'Maksym Silnikov', 'xxx', 'J.P. Morgan', and 'lanksy', in Poland. Indeed, you read this correctly, Maksim Silnikau also operated under the moniker J.P. Morgan – two people are J.P. Morgan. Furthermore, charges have been brought against two more individuals who are believed to operate with J.P. Morgan and Silnikau. Vladimir Kadariya, a 38 year old citizen of Belarus and Andrei Tarasov, a 33 year old citizen of Russia. These 4 individuals operated malvertising campaigns (i.e. Angler) which believe to have impacted over 500,000,000 people across the globe. The National Crime Agency identified physical offices for their malvertising campaigns located in Ukraine under the business name 'Media Lab'. In April 2012, a team of researchers intentionally conducted... a controlled crash of a former Alaska Airlines Boeing 727. This event took place in Mexico and aimed to investigate a genuine aircraft crash scenario. While many believe that surviving a plane crash is unlikely, this study revealed a different reality. The research indicated that passengers seated in the aircraft's front section were most vulnerable during the simulation. Individuals situated near the wings might sustain injuries, but these injuries were not deemed life-threatening. ➡️It's a little embarrassing to share, but I feel... like it took me way to long to realize the better workflow with rigging. So here's a little #live2d tip for those beginner artists that clicked for me a while back! I used to rig all body, clothing, and accessories for one given area all at once, but I think it ended up being inconsistent to other parts of the model. My workflow was slower too. 😬 It's similar to the inconsistencies you'd get by not drawing the bone structures of your character drawing, and just trying to draw the clothes right away. Body parts can sometimes seem to not line up, especially as a newer artist. It's a small change, but rigging only the nude base in full and then slowly adding one clothing part at a time makes the entire rigging process easier.😄 I know it seems really obvious, but I actually didn't start doing this until early last year. Everything comes together much faster and much more consistently, so definitely give it a try! Hope you enjoy this #vtuber leg rigging ☺️show more
