The Giants’ new rookie kicker has a 70-yard leg... 👀 Earlier this offseason, Dominic Zvada posted this video of him connecting on a 70-yard field goal while practicing shortly after he went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Giants signed Zvada this offseason and he has quickly become the favorite for their starting kicking job. Dominic Zvada made all 13 of his field-goal attempts at the Giants’ mandatory minicamp, connecting from 53, 56, and 60 yards with room to spare, then went a perfect 8-for-8 in another session. Rothenberger “changed” genders at age nine and now towers over the female competition. The trans player demolished the defending champs in back-to-back games thanks to his masculine features. Observation 2: A closer look at 5 ⭐️ KJ... Green. A part of his game that people don't talk about enough is his ability to contain the edge and be a run stopper. Throughout practice, he was working on beating double teams and sifting through offensive linemen. Another facet of his game, he is fine-tuning before his final high school season. Green is one of the most complete players you will find in the 2027 cycle, regardless of position. He has a very polished game.show more

The Pirates haven’t won a Paul Skenes start in... over a month and are currently trailing the Marlins 2-1… Skenes has seen a dip in his fastball velocity this season and nobody in Pittsburgh seems to notice he’s holding the baseball with a different set of muscles this year…. Here he is last June holding the baseball with his interossei muscles (left video) compared to his flexor digitorum superficialis today (right video)…. The interossei originate on the hand, the FDS originate on the humerus…. This is why his hand & wrist orientation is so different at the top of his motion as well as at his follow through….show more

“That was fun, but not as fun as tackling... people.” Preston Lobliner had these words of wisdom after his first day of kicking camp with James Wilhoit. Without any training, he was the only kid in his league last year who could kick extra points, and that was HUGE since they are worth 2 points since nobody does it. With Middle School Football upon us, we are excited to see him contribute to his team as an accurate and powerful kicker and an all out DAWG on offense and defense. This was 30 yards, and after this camp and learning how to actually kick, I expect to hit 40+ by the time the season hits. Also the best news ever for us, he is starting back in wrestling next week daily after injuring his elbow at practice the day after winning state so we will start working on that 3rd state championship! LHP Zach Root (Arkansas Baseball) is one of the... best college lefthanders in this year's Draft class. After splitting time between the bullpen and rotation as a Freshman, Root last year was a full time starter and pitched his way to a 3.56 ERA with 76 Ks to 21 BB across 68.1 IP. Slightly undersized at 6'1" and 186-pounds, but there's present strength and physicality in his lower-half. Natural funk and deception in his delivery that includes a high leg lift and some tilt in his upper-half. Average arm stroke with a slight wrist coil, attacks from a mid-three quarter (maybe a tick lower) slot with a bit of cross fire. Root's FB will sit in the 91-94 range, but it was up to 97. Will flash arm side life through the zone and is best when located on either third (arm or glove side) of the plate or in the top-half. Not a real bat-misser right now, so refining its shape should be a point of focus both this spring and beyond. Bread and butter offerings are his secondaries. Root's low-80s CH gets averaged almost 10 MPH of separation off his heater and it's a pitch he throws with conviction. Consistently flashes fade to the arm side as well as late diving life. Generated a 46% miss rate last spring, would stick a plus grade on it. High-70s-to-low-80s CB flashes big-time depth with some sharpness. 11-to-5 shape against RHH, but will be longer than it is deep against LHH. Has a decent feel for the pitch, and last season it held opposing hitters to a minuscule .048 average while generating a 48% miss rate. Rounds out his arsenal with a mid-to-upper-80s CUT/SL that against LHH will flash sweeping life with some late bite. Potentially average offering. “PERFECT SHOTS ALL THE WAY!" A D3 golfer aced... the same hole twice on the same day Monday at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational in Rome, Georgia. Sewanee Athletics sophomore Niel Phillips began his first round with a hole-in-one (6-iron from 182 yards) on the par-3 eighth hole at Stonebridge CC. He shot 72, and then headed back to No. 8 to start his second round. He aced the hole again, this time with 7-iron! Day 6 notes - OLB Tuli Tuipulotu participated in... one 7-on-7 rep but did not take part in the remainder of team drills, marking his sixth straight practice with limited participation as his contract situation remains unresolved. - LT Rashawn Slater left practice and spent time in the medical tent before not returning. After practice, Justin Herbert said Slater wanted to get back on the field and was in good spirits afterward. - The offense came out sharp, with Herbert completing his first eight passes before S RJ Mickens broke up a pass.
