There are things going on in it that just don't make any sense for puppet animation. Here are some parts that make it clear, I slowed down the video so it's easier to notice the chunky parts. I think we've both been inspired by each other's work and dedication to exploring all the ways we can push these tools to their limits for VFX and animation. We didn't want to force a collaboration, but recently, Jboogx was inspired by the work I've been doing and how I incorporate myself into my animations. This idea is a playful take on 'Atlas carrying the boulder,' but with a twist—let's make Atlas out of spaghetti and the boulder a meatball, to fit more with what Jboogx has been doing on the food side of things lately (shoutout to our good friend James Gerde -@gerdegotit @gerdedoesit @gerdemadeit, who did the first spaghetti animation). You know those early sounds your baby makes? They’re... not as random as they might seem. New research released this week analyzed 130 infants’ vocalizations (recorded over the course of their first 12 months) and found that babies’ early squeals, growls, and vowel sound patterns tend to occur in clusters - and often in isolation from social interaction. The findings suggest that infants engage in deliberate vocal play, producing these clusters at will as a form of vocal practice. Further, this growing control over the sounds they make is a critical step toward the development of spoken language. January 2, right at 3 months ago, Fred Kerley... had his ribs broken while being beat by Miami Police Officers. He had his teeth knocked out as well. Then was pretty much banned from his house and hasn’t been able to go back. He wasn’t able to train the whole month of January. He hit the track mid Feb, still not able to breathe properly cause of his ribs. But y’all on Twitter talking forgetting that. Ok we’ll get your teeth knocked in, ribs broken, tased, and then in 7 weeks go line up and race. Half of y’all wouldn’t even be able to move for the next year. I say it all of the time. It never fails. After months of late night feedings... and short bursts of sleep, your baby FINALLY begins sleeping through the night… only to begin waking again. What gives? What you’re experiencing is a sleep regression… a small setback in sleep continuity often associated with big breakthroughs in development. As your baby grows as a language user, for example, you may find that they discover 3am is a great time to practice all their new skills. This happy little guy, shared to TT by em_suttles, is a great example. He’s unlocked a cool new vocal trick (at 5 months) and he’s ready to put it to work. While it may not yet look like it, he’s on his way to spoken language. Even more pronounced regressions can coincide with major motor milestones. As your baby learns to sit, roll over, crawl and pull to a stand, their nighttime options in the crib become far more varied. And the temptation to practice them can be strong. The good news is that these sleep regressions are typically pretty short lived. So, bleary-eyed though you may be, do your best to celebrate them for what they are: markers of big steps forward in your child’s development.show more
