Come with all your shame, come with your swollen... heart. I have never seen anything more beautiful than you. Bring the scars that sting and the nights that felt too long. Bring the trembling hands and the tears that fell in silence. Every broken piece is a note in a song only you could sing, Every quiet fear is a light waiting to be seen. Do not hide, do not apologize, do not shrink. I will meet you here, where the world does not judge Where your weight is not a burden but a testament, to the depth you carry and the strength you cannot yet name. Come as you are, raw and unafraid, for in your presence I find a beauty that has no mirror.show more

The role of sleep and nutrition in the hypertrophy... process is vastly overstated.⠀ ⠀ Not completely. You can absolutely sabotage your growth by sleeping three hours a night and eating like a committed pacifist. Nobody is disputing that.⠀ ⠀ But the idea that you need to optimise beyond a healthy, self-respecting human baseline, that blackout curtains and protein timing and sleep tracking apps and a meal prep schedule calibrated to the gram will unlock some extra tier of growth that a normal person sleeping normally and eating normally cannot access, is an industry talking point dressed up as physiology.⠀ ⠀ If you are not recovering session to session, the suspects are in the gym, not the bedroom.⠀ ⠀ - Too much volume.⠀ - Less than two rest days a week.⠀ - Lengthened position movements that torch the muscle at its longest point.⠀ - Slow eccentrics, which cause extraordinary amounts of muscle damage for the stimulus they produce.⠀ - Drop sets.⠀ - Supersets.⠀ - Short rest periods that mean your next set starts before your last set has finished paying off.⠀ - Training to absolute failure consistently, which is a fast way to dig a recovery hole you are not equipped to climb out of.⠀ ⠀ Pull back on those and you will make more progress than you would by mastering your sleep hygiene protocol.⠀ ⠀ The bedroom is not where the problem lives.⠀ ⠀ The gym is where the problem lives.⠀ ⠀ Go back in. Do less. Rest longer. Get more.show more

People get so emotional about DNA issues that they... refuse to think reasonably. If you, on your own volition, wake up one morning, and decide to go have a DNA paternity test of "your" children, then you must also be ready for the results that will come back to you. You must have reasonable cause to go for the test. That reasonable cause means you are not 100% sure if the kids are yours and hence need a confirmation test. The DNA centers are supposed to take you through counseling before you sign on to do the test. Don't go for a test and later come and disturb us online with the results. Nobody asked for it. The situation is different if you need to have the DNA test to help you complete some documentation for traveling etc. That one you didn't request for the test out of your own volition. So I can understand you if you are surprised when the results come. There is an Akan proverb that says "if you go searching for stuffs in the eyes of dead person, you will definitely see a ghost."show more

🚨 ELON MUSK ON CELL PHONES “If someone says,... is my cell phone going to cause brain cancer because of radiation, I’m like, do you mean photons or particles? Because it’s not emitting particles, so we can just put that aside. Then, the most the photons it’s emitting can do is slightly warm up your ear, and only by a tiny amount. If you had an ear warmer that was very mild, that’s your phone. That’s all. It’s emitting photons at a frequency that is not going to cause DNA damage. Sleep easy at night. Don’t worry about your phone. It’s fine.”show more

Nothing hurts more than having flashbacks of all the... things that broke you, each memory sharp as shattered glass under your skin. The laughter that turned to silence, the hands that let go when you needed them most, the promises that dissolved like smoke before you could hold them. Nights stretch endlessly, haunted by echoes of every wound, every loss, every word that cut deeper than you knew. And yet in the ache, in the weight of remembering, there is a quiet defiance, a fragile strength rising from the pieces, whispering that even broken, you endure, you persist, you remain.show more
