We worked incredibly hard alongside Jamie Hewlett to make it as period-accurate as possible and, like all our projects, it was hand-drawn by an incredible team of artists. We even used a variety of practical effects in the film, which was a lot of fun to do. We had a brilliant time making this film and learnt a huge amount while studying the masters of the 60s and 70s. Diagnosed with a Heart Complication that forced me to get hospitalized and limited my ability to move in a daily basis hence decided to take a break & try comeback more active next year. But that plan got postponed with the news saying P’Ling was coming I jumped out of my bed out of excitement & happiness and jumped straight to planning all the things we had to do for the visit. To be able to represent our fans here in Malaysia was a big honor yet a big responsibility we had to take on. Despite all the challenges our team have been through we made it this far with only 3 Admins pushing through all the hardwork to make this event memorable for both P’Ling and the fans. A big shoutout to the Golden Angels Family & JKR Family for contributing and making the event more memorable for all of us. On Friday the 16th of May, a new version of Like Real People Do will be released alongside the anniversary vinyl pressing which features the bird song, cricket song, rain fall and thunder of my beloved home of Wicklow. 50% of the royalties from this version of the track will flow through to conservation efforts around the world. You know I love Unreal Engine. I finally got... to the stage where I started practicing optimization. For 4 hours I tried to make the glass with ice not only outside the window in reality, but also for the game. I made several variants and even interesting patterns for UV, which I will show later in separate "learn stuff" videos. The Taking of the Relic Made with GPT Image... 2 + Seedance 2 on mitte.ai This time I started with a storyboard, then moved to video. The main reason is cost. Video iterations burn credits really fast. With a storyboard, I can tweak things shot by shot and catch issues early, which is way cheaper. It also makes the whole process more controllable. I can adjust each shot on its own, so the character, composition, and key elements stay consistent. Pacing gets figured out early. Once the storyboard is done, the flow is pretty much set.
