Managed to do something crazy with Halo. It now... has realtime iMessage sync support *without needing a Mac*. Everything done locally on your iPhone using Shortcuts automation. The agent now has context about your conversations/SMS and it opens up a whole world of possibilities from knowing about people, travel, transactions, etc. Another world-first for Halo. Alright, now that we know *what* an agent is,... how does it actually work? When you ask for help on a task, the agent plans a series of steps and executes them directly in the application on your behalf, using the tools it has access to. Say you are booking a local service or trying to organize your inbox (which typically takes multiple steps): the AI model first plans how to achieve the task using its existing knowledge and then interacts with your inbox to execute the task. The startup world runs on iMessage. The problem is,... the Mac messages app is not designed for productivity and there’s no alternative online. If you’re responding to 100+ texts a day, it’s painful and messages get lost easily. As a weekend project, I used Fable to vibecode an AI-native iMessage wrapper. It has: - AI autodrafting that continually learns from your edits - Time sensitive message detection as a separate section - The ability to archive messages so you can get to inbox zero. It reads from the local chat.db on your Mac, and sends messages via AppleScript, so it’s fully secure since it still uses the iMessage protocol on your computer. I have learnt to understand that golf is about... minimizing your misses. On the tee, I aim up the right and I do everything to hit a draw. It gives me confidence knowing that I then have the entirety of the fairway to play with. If I hit a small draw, I end up on the right side of the fairway. If I hit a big draw, I end up on the left side of the fairway. If you aim up the middle, you double your room for error. Lesson is to learn the way you shape the ball and then make it work for you. #PXGTroopsshow more
