Modern AI clusters move terabits of data per second between thousands of GPUs. The biggest bottleneck is often not the chips themselves, but moving data fast enough between them. If you can push 5× more data through the same physical cables, you can train bigger models faster and reduce network congestion. Urgent resuce 💔 Got a very stressed and heartbreaking... call today. Someone shifted their home and left behind a Labrador tied near a drain. Since morning, this innocent soul has been standing there helplessly in the scorching heat, waiting and hoping for his family to come back for him. Some kind people spotted him and informed us. We are now going to rescue this sweet dog. He looks like a one-year-old Labrador puppy, extremely docile, innocent, and completely unaware of why he was abandoned by the people he trusted the most. We truly fail to understand how people can do this to an animal who only knows how to love unconditionally. This is truly disheartening and painful to witness. Always remember pets are not toys, status symbols, or temporary companions. They are living beings with emotions, attachment, and hearts that break too. A pet is a lifetime commitment. If someone cannot stand by a pet for life, then please do not bring one home in the first place. There is absolutely no compulsion to keep a pet, but once you do, you become their entire world and family. Abandoning them on the streets after they have trusted and loved you is one of the cruelest things a person can do. Please keep this sweet soul in your kind prayers. Updated Fly By of the Tropicana Site Along With... A Visit From DHS Got stopped by Department of Homeland Security this morning after flying! There were two officers in all-black uniforms and vests that pulled in front of my vehicle just as I was finishing up and putting all the safety equipment away. They asked if I had just flown a drone and I let them know I did. From there, they met up with me at my car and asked to see my Part 107 Certificate and FAA authorization to fly in zero grid airspace. I always carry a white binder with everything I need and I have never had to show anyone anything until today, but I was ready. After a few minutes of going over my information and documents, they were finished. They also let me know that no one has ever had all of their documents together like I had. It pains me to know that the belief is... that a therapist role is to "validate". I do not validate. If you are with me in a clinical setting and what you're saying doesn't make any damn sense, I'm going to have you walk me through it. What I've discovered is that a lot of the dysfunction people have is that they've never articulated their beliefs and so have no idea how absurd they are. Simply going through the exercise of having to explain yourself can be deeply rewarding. It's something we call "accountability". You literally account for yourself. Sure, I've had some female clients chimp out and flee never to be seen again at their first contact with a mirror. I've had many others weep openly that actually being held psychologically. One I will never get out of my mind was a wonderful 30-something year old woman who cried and said, "I have been in therapy for 7 years. Why has nobody ever challenged me and help me see that I'm the one causing all this shit?" That's an important question. And it's crucial that if you see a therapist, you don't see a charlatan. We’ll protect values at risk, ie. infrastructure, communities, critical habitat or culturally significant features on the landscape, we’ll map them and maybe try to burn them to natural barrier, fight one flank and let the rest roll (limited action) but we are not putting them out. On many of the fires we don’t even try. A number of these fires are huge boreal gobblers (I am currently assigned to a 250,000 ha fire, well over 600,000 acres and you could fit the org. chart on one side of a beer can). The only thing that is going to put out this fire out and many across the country is winter, 5 months from now. It’s going to be a long, smoky summer for everyone. You have a wide reach, it would be great if you can help people understand these dynamics in the Canadian wildfire scene when they’re bitching about the smoke. I’m probably one of the only Teslanaires out there,... if not one of the very few, still cutting my own hair. I cut my own hair again today, and it reminded me that becoming a multi-millionaire usually isn’t a random coincidence. People see the $ and think it just happened. What they usually don’t see are the small habits behind it. Of course, I could go spend $25–$50 on a haircut that probably looks better than the one I give myself. But that’s not really what matters to me. I don’t care that much about looking perfect. I care about controlling my time. I care about staying grounded. I care about keeping the kind of habits that helped me build wealth in the first place. And honestly, I enjoy doing it. I’ve been cutting my own hair for so many years that I don’t even think about going to the barber anymore. It’s just normal to me now. It saves time, keeps me frugal, and reminds me that wealth is usually built in the small choices nobody claps for. That’s the part people miss. A lot of people see wealth and assume it was luck. But a lot of the time, it’s really the result of small disciplined habits repeated for years. Not wasting $ just bc you can. Not wasting time just bc other people do.
