Rafif has lived 37,497,600 seconds since the day she... was born, yet during all this time she has only known fear, hunger, and terror, enduring one of the most brutal genocides this world has ever witnessed. Today, you can be the reason she gets a chance at life — in a safe environment, in a world where she can grow with care, education, and love instead of pain. Do what you can for her, and give her a voice. Please take just one second of your time to like and share. Thank you.show more

One last thing I would like to say is... about the Grand Sports Day. Charlotte seemed quite down from the beginning. Granted, maybe she was tired, but her usual spark just wasn’t there, and I assume it had to do with that person. Nevertheless, she did what was asked of her and didn’t let it show on camera or when interacting with her fans, because she is a professional. Her mood gradually improved as her friends kept lifting her spirits, especially when she interacted with that kid. You could clearly see she was happier again and kept fighting through, because that is how real and grateful she is for her fans, friends, and all she has right now. Yesterday, someone should have said something right there and then, because what he said was completely untrue. She was the one who collected the balls to help the staff. She came to help us get some air after one of the games by using the fan, because that is who she is. A considerate, kind, professional person who always thinks about others first and tries to fight her demons alone because she would not want to bother anyone with it. Let’s keep supporting her and Engfa, of course and all the other artists as much as we can, because they deserve better! ENGLOT PINK VS BLACK #GrandSportParty2025 #charlotteaustinshow more

"My mother raised four kids and buried a husband... and built a life entirely with her own hands. Last week she turned 80 and moved into assisted living. She was allowed to bring one thing that wasn't furniture. Every single one of us assumed she would bring Dad's photo or her china or the quilt she's had since 1987. She looked at all of us and she said — 'I'm bringing Bruno.' Not one of us said a single word. Because not one of us could argue with that. Because Bruno has slept beside her bed every night for seven years. Because when Dad passed Bruno didn't leave her side for two weeks. Because she is 80 years old and she has earned every single choice she makes and this one was never a question." We helped her move in on Thursday. She directed everything. Where the lamp goes. Which books on which shelf. Dad's photo facing the bed so she sees it first thing. Bruno's bed went in first. Before anything else. She told my brother — "Get his bed in there first. Everything else can wait." When we left that afternoon Bruno was already on his bed with his chin on her quilt like he'd lived there his whole life. My sister called me on the drive home. She couldn't finish a sentence. Neither could I. We are not sad about this. We want to be clear about that. Mom is okay. Mom is more than okay. Mom walked into that room like she walks into every room — like she owns it and is prepared to improve it. We are crying because of the chin on the quilt. We are crying because she is 80 years old and she has been through everything and when they told her one thing she didn't hesitate. Not the china. Not the photo. Not the quilt. Bruno. Drop a ❤️ for Mom. And one for Bruno who has been her one thing for seven years without knowing it.show more

This is why I felt so out of it.... 10 years today. I take solace in the fact that my mother loved us well and did her best for us. She was a fighter, protector and provider. She endured harassment by the SAP in the Apartheid era to keep us safe. She was the keeper of secrets, my secrets in particular. She loved all of us equally and never spoke a bad word about one of my siblings to me. She endured the loss of a child with dignity and later in life would be the matriarch of the family. Keeping us together when it seems we were drifting apart. Whoever came to visit, never left empty handed. I remember Geraldine and Jasper , adopted kids that she fed and nurtured through their formative years. She was there at my lowest points in life and never failed to support me.. She could cook up a storm in the kitchen and sew dresses for us and if Matthew Duiker would allow it she would make him an underpants. The death of my brother almost destroyed her, but again she rose from the ashes to keep the home fires burning during the most terrible times her life. She loved all her grand kids equally and often talked of Cheyenne and Edwynne and just wished she could see them. Go in peace my sweet mother. Till we meet again. Hamba Kahle. lala uxolo. She packed up her life in California, desperate to... escape the crushing taxes, failing schools, crime, and Democrat policies that drove her out. Suitcase in hand, coffee in the other, she hit the road for Texas — land of opportunity, freedom, and lower taxes. But as soon as she arrived… she proudly slapped on her “Vote Blue” pin, strolled up to the ballot box, and voted for the exact same Democrats and policies she just ran from. Don’t be a Karen. If you left the blue state mess behind, don’t import it. Texas is red for a reason. Keep it that way. 🇨🇱➡️🇨🇱 No — wait. You already left. Now vote like it. Don’t be a Karen.show more

Sabrina Carpenter APOLOGIZES for her reaction to Arabic tribal... sound at Coachella after getting accused of ‘Islamophobia.’ The singer said her reaction was “not ill intended” after she said “I don’t like it” in reaction to a fan making the Zaghrouta Arabic tribal sound. “My apologies i didn't see this person with my eyes and couldn't hear clearly. my reaction was pure confusion, sarcasm and not ill intended. could have handled it better! now i know what a Zaghrouta is!” Thousands of the singers fans took to social media to criticize her reaction with some claiming she was ‘Islamophobic’ and ‘mocking’ Arab culture after she mistook the sound for yodeling.show more

Taylor Swift’s tribute to Dolly Parton is one of... the cleanest ones yet. She called her true grace and true grit in the same person. That is exactly right. Dolly gave more than she took. She stayed classy without softening her spine. She showed women you could be generous, funny, tough, and fully yourself at the same time. The reason she will be remembered is not only the songs. It is the way she carried herself and the way she kept giving. Grace and grit. That combination is rare. It is the standard. Dolly was proof of all the great things a woman can be, and she made it look effortless.show more

Peggy lived alone at the end of Hawthorn Lane,... and the only one who really kept an eye on her was a big black Doberman named Bear. People in the neighborhood used to cross the street when they saw him. He looked like the kind of dog you read about in the wrong kind of story, all muscle and sharp ears. But anybody who actually knew Peggy knew that Bear followed her around the house like a shadow and slept on the floor beside her bed every night. Peggy was 79 and stubborn about living on her own. Her son had been after her for a year to move somewhere with people around, and she kept telling him she was fine, that she had Bear and that was plenty. One morning in the kitchen, she reached up for a mug on the top shelf and her legs just went out from under her. She came down hard on the tile and couldn't get herself back up. Her phone was on the counter, way out of reach, and the house was dead quiet except for her own breathing. Bear was at her side before she even finished falling. He nosed at her face and pressed against her, and when she told him to go, he ran to the front window and started barking, the deep kind the whole street could hear. He wouldn't stop, going from the window to Peggy and back again, over and over, until a neighbor two doors down finally came out to see what all the noise was about. She found Peggy on the floor and Bear standing guard over her, and she had the ambulance there within minutes. Peggy came home a week later with a cracked hip and a new respect for that dog. She still won't hear a word about moving. She says she already lives with somebody who looks out tor her.show more

When we first started recording Prizefighter, Gracie Abrams and... Aaron Dessner were working upstairs at Electric Lady. We’ve followed Gracie’s career from the beginning, right from when she started, and think she has turned into one of the world’s most interesting artists with the most amazingly lazer-like sensibilities, taste, and choices. She was there the day the record started and in turn became the fairy godmother of this record, just tapping songs with her magic wand. So when it came to it, we asked if she wanted to sing on anything, and she picked Badlands. We are so grateful as she turned it into more than we dreamt it could ever be.show more

my grandma is 85. she is a pillar of... her community in Lujan de Cuyo, a small town in Argentina where I was born. today, she got diagnosed with dementia. up until 4 months ago, she would cook fresh meals every single day, walk at least 10,000 steps at 6AM, and do pilates 3x a week. she took care of herself at the highest standard and took care of others just as intentionally. she is the wise matron of the family that has held us all together. she is the living definition of discipline and strength and warmth which is what I admired the most in her. my grandma would knit and bake and sell what she made to make ends meet when my grandpa abandoned her with 2 kids. when I came along she used to take me on long walks and share songs with me. she taught me her empanadas de carne recipe when I started living alone and cooking for myself. through her lifestyle and her choices she taught me that there is no excuse, and there are no shortcuts. you can be 85 and take care of yourself like you’re 25. and you can do all of that on top of raising children, being a sounding board for others, and holding the entire family together. i can’t believe how fast her dementia has progressed. i am genuinely stunned. having my grandma change so suddenly from the superwoman that she’s been my entire life is a new type of pain that i did not emotionally prepare for. life is precious, our mind is precious. i’m lucky to have had 27 years with the most wonderful present version of my grandma.show more

I remember when Nicki Minaj used to be so... open with her life and truly let the Barbz into her world. That kind of access doesn’t happen by accident it came from love and trust. But looking at things now, I understand why she moves differently The truth is, a lot of people don’t respect her the way they should. Too many are fake, and loyalty just isn’t what it used to be. There was a time when she had no problem showing up for her fans paying for dinners, celebrating birthdays, even attending fans’ parties. She gave real support because she genuinely cared. And it’s sad to see how easily some people have taken that for granted I could never sit back and let someone disrespect Nicki. I’ve argued with family, lost friendships, and stood ten toes down behind her because that’s what loyalty looks like to me. She has shaped culture and impacted my life in a way I will never overlook. We are her fanbase but why don’t some of y’all act like it anymore? It’s easy to point fingers, but sometimes we need to look at ourselves and the energy we bring as a community Loyalty isn’t something you can teach. You either have it, or you don’t. And maybe that’s exactly why she protects her space more nowshow more

Hayden Panettiere’s estranged mother is now playing the victim... and telling people they have no right to judge how she mourns. This is the same woman who publicly said her daughter “lost her way” and “found the wrong path” right after she died. She has also openly admitted they were estranged for years. A mother who wasn’t there doesn’t get to control the conversation after the fact. The cold response came first. The victim act came later. It looks a lot like guilt. Instead of looking in the mirror and acknowledging she failed Hayden when it mattered, she’s lashing out at critics. That order matters. Hayden deserved better than this.show more

A citizen in Istanbul found an approximately 6-week-old kitten... that had been left all alone on the street, crying for help and meowing from hunger and desperation. After feeding the kitten, the citizen took it to a shelter so it could be safe. But the story didn't end there. Most likely, the mother cat had only left her kitten for a short time to look for food. When she returned and couldn't find her kitten where she had left it, she immediately began searching for it. She wandered around the area for days, checking every shelter and clinic she came across. Then one day, she heard a meowing sound coming from a clinic. She immediately recognized that the voice belonged to her own kitten. Without hesitation, she followed the sound inside and went straight to her kitten. And the very first thing she did after being reunited with her baby was nurse it 🥺 How powerful is a mother's love... To recognize her own kitten's voice among countless others and never give up until she found it 😭❤️show more

My Sister, My Friend… We Will Meet Again In... A Better World Amal Khalil was not just a journalist, she was a voice. A voice that chose truth over fear, presence over safety, and duty over silence. She took shelter in what should have been a place of protection, yet even that could not save her. Wounded, helpless, and waiting… help was delayed, access was blocked, and a life slowly slipped away in pain. What makes this tragedy even heavier is not just how she died, but how she was left. A journalist, doing her job, documenting reality, yet denied the very rescue that could have saved her. There are moments where humanity is tested not in words, but in response and in this moment, the silence speaks louder than anything else. And while narratives elsewhere celebrate selective stories, this loss reminds us of the voices that fade without headlines. Amal’s story is not just about one life, it is about truth under fire. My sister, my friend… your journey may have ended here, but the truth you carried will not. We will meet again, in a place where justice is not delayed and voices are never silenced.show more

Hayden Panettiere flew to South Carolina on Saturday with... Brian Hickerson and stayed at an Airbnb in Greenville. On Sunday she went into cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at 36. No signs of foul play. What stays with me is how quiet the final hours sound. She had just spoken publicly about finally feeling like she had shaken off the darkness. She talked about still having a lot of life left. And then it ended in a rented apartment with almost no one seeing her. I’ve covered a lot of these stories. The ones that hurt the most are the people who seemed like they were still fighting to come back. Hayden had been open about the depression, the postpartum struggle, and the abuse. That kind of honesty takes real courage. It makes the loss feel even heavier. Rest in peace.show more

My little daughter Tamam is currently going through a... very serious health condition. Because of the viruses spreading among children, she has developed a very high fever and severe chest infections that are causing her intense pain and frightening shortness of breath. We spent the entire day at the hospital trying to help her breathe. She received nebulizer treatments to relieve her breathing difficulties, but her condition is still very hard. She urgently needs medication and treatment to reduce her fever and ease the pain in her chest so she can breathe and breastfeed normally again. Right now, we urgently need $500 to be able to buy the medicine and provide the treatment she needs. My friends and kind people, My daughter truly needs your help right now. Every moment she continues to suffer, and any support from you could help relieve her pain and save her.🥹🙏show more
