Miami was called for an “illegal shift” for “multiple... players in motion” which nullified a 58 yard Malachi Toney TD. Can someone at The ACC show me who was in motion besides #9 Lofton? Why did their ACC Football refs steal another Miami TD with another fake penalty?show more

Okay, motion designers are 100% cooked. Saw on x... that Opus 5.5 could do advanced animations and I was skeptical at first. So I gave it a one sentence prompt, and it one shot this in 15 minutes. Will add the prompt below, but this is genuinely mind blowing. This level of work would have costed $8,000 - $10,000 with a motion design team and 3-4 week turnaround with multiple revisions. Claude did it in one go with this prompt: "make a dynamic 15-second motion graphics video that shows what an incredible motion designer you are, like it's your showreel for a résumé. go all out." The only thing remaining for humans is creativity and critical thinking.show more

I showed someone Extract Motion and their first reaction... was basically: “wait, so I don’t have to prompt the camera?” Pretty much. It just landed in Dreamina Canvas — feed it a video, pull out the motion and spatial depth, then put your own scene on top. With a full month of Dreamina Basic for $1.5 — up to 90% off, till Oct 9. #Dreamina #DreaminaPartnershow more

One of the biggest plays of the game almost... didn’t happen. Clock hit zero at the snap which is legal. Juice told me, there was supposed to be a TE motion. Purdy knew it wasn’t necessary for the play to work (guessing it was a return motion). You can see Juice telling TE to move and Purdy tells him to stay there. He got set again right in time. Little operational stuff but heads up by Purdy. Tons of small moments like this in football games we don’t know about that decide games.show more

Welcome to the Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson Football Locker... Room at the one and only, University of Miami 🙌🏾 THE U At Miami, I had the privilege of playing with some of the greatest players to ever play the game. Hall of Famers. And more importantly, WE had the honor of creating a brotherhood that was forged in our daily discipline ~ to outwork our competition and ALWAYS be the hardest workers in the room. Lifers. This gift is my way of showing love and gratitude to a football program that helped shape and define who I am today as a man. Ups and downs and everything in between. Best of luck this season to my brother & Head Coach Mario Cristobal & his coaching staff. And to our program’s anchor - our players, No team in the country will outwork you. It’s our obsession and our appetite for disruption. See you at the top. DRJ #brotherhood #theU University of Miami Miami Hurricanes Footballshow more

Leo Woodall says he did not know about hyperacusis... before starring in 'TUNER,' which follows a piano tuner who suffers from the condition: "t's a very rare condition, and one of the first things I did was speak to a man called Alex Ruger, who has the condition and has lived with the condition for, I think, around a decade. He spoke to me at length about his experience with it and navigating it, which was invaluable to me." 'TUNER' is now playing in theaters.show more

On the day that the Cincinnati Bengals announce their... blockbuster deal with Ja’Marr Chase, I got a story … In 2021, Chase hit a rough patch in camp with drops. It was a big story at the time, the kind that blow up in the summer. Anyway, I came thru for an early August practice, and hung out with coaches on the field for about a half-hour after the session ended. I turned around, and there was Ja’MarrChase, out there on the Juggs, having kept one teammate behind to help him. Five minutes later, he was by himself, with an equipment man shooting the balls at him. At the end of my camp trip, I showed my football-obsessed first-grader (now a fourth-grader) how this player picked fifth overall was responding in the face of adversity early in his career. Almost all the rest of the players and coaches were inside. It wasn’t a show. It was a guy consumed with being the best. Which is why I think the Bengals will sleep well writing him those checks.show more

Inter Miami co-owner david beckham announced that the club... has suspended Rodrigo De Paul and lionel messi pending a full investigation into serious allegations of match-fixing and illegal betting. Mas revealed that an internal review, triggered by unusual betting patterns flagged by league integrity monitors, uncovered evidence linking both players to a network of private wagers on Inter Miami matches. According to the preliminary findings,De Paul and messi placed multiple bets against their own team in recent MLS fixtures and allegedly shared insider information with external contacts. “These allegations strike at the very heart of sporting integrity and are completely unacceptable,” Mas stated. “Inter Miami has zero tolerance for any form of match manipulation or illegal gambling. The moment credible evidence was presented, we took immediate action. Both De Paul and messi have been suspended from all team activities while an independent investigation is carried out in full cooperation with MLS and relevant authorities. No one is above the standards we set for this club not even our most senior players.”show more

Of the seven Americas players who landed at 6:45... this morning in Miami from Mexico, only Chris Nido made his tee time, which fortunately was the last one off 10 at 9 a.m. Nido said they were supposed to land around midnight, but after taking off from Mexico City, there was a medical emergency on the flight and they had to make an emergency landing in Veracruz. What do you mean, “you cannot have your daughter... in jail”? Yakone was a criminal who was sent to prison by Team Avatar for using bloodbending. The Red Lotus were jailed. I could mention so many criminals who were sent to prison by Team Avatar for the bad things they did. At this point, you can see that the corruption was within Team Avatar itself. Their regime was heavily surrounded by corruption. Korra had to deal with all of that in book1show more

Alastor’s shared history with Mimzy further establishes who he... was in life, not an isolated killer only operating in the shadows & the margins, but someone who was socially embedded in the 20/30s entertainment scene, one where nightlife and organized crime likely intersected. Judging from how their dynamic exists in Hell — where Mimzy clearly ran to Alastor to fix her problems as if it was a precedent, it’s easy to assume Alastor did the same for Mimzy in their human lives. In this way, Alastor’s killings weren’t entirely random. From what is shown on screen, his kills were often within his social sphere or within another structure of power (ex. the racist white man at the gala). Alastor helps Mimzy because they are friends — but he is also deliberate in making sure he is in control of the ecosystem he’s occupying.show more

Hey Texas DPS, I wholly support you guys but... what’s the deal with this Ranger throwing elbows to football players, one of which was injured and then barking at them…? I know what that was. It was a gross appeal to authority and it was a very bad look for your agency. Would appreciate an apology bc I can promise you a SC State Trooper wouldn’t be throwing unneeded elbows like it’s middle school. - Sincerely, someone that spent 15 years wearing a uniform as a public servant.show more

#MiamiFL transfer QB Darian Mensah will look to follow... in Cam Ward and Carson Beck’s footsteps, work with Shannon Dawson 🏈 , and raise their NFL Draft grade. Last year in speaking with NFL clubs, if Mensah declared for the draft, a near unanimous comparison emerged, both stylistically and in upside: Packers QB Jordan Love Mensah returned to school, and has a chance to clean up some footwork and balance techniques, and contend fora top-10 draft selection even in loaded draft.
