Hey everyone! Before we play our first match, I’d... like to share a bit about our offseason. This is one of the most important times of the year for any team, and we made sure to make the most of it. We started tryouts with only 8 days of rest after the previous season ended. We didn’t waste a second. We wanted to be ready, and to do so, we tested between 30 and 35 players, becoming the team that conducted the most tryouts. We gave opportunities to everyone: players with previous experience, those without, T2 players, ranked grinders… If we saw potential, we opened the doors. Our goal was clear from the start: find young grinders hungry to compete and eager to learn. We were looking for talent we could develop and take to the top here at GIANTX. This reflects our philosophy: not just signing stars but building them, betting on the future, and nurturing young talent. I also want to give a massive shoutout to GX Cloud and Liquid purp0 , who worked tirelessly to make this offseason a success. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to secure not only the best players in terms of skill but also those who align perfectly in terms of synergy and personal values. It’s been an intense and exciting offseason full of key decisions. Now, we’re ready to take on the new season with everything we’ve got. Hills I will die on as someone who has... coached high school football for over 29 years: 1. If you are not PASSIONATE about blessing, serving, and empowering those you are blessed to coach, this profession is not for you. 2. As much as we need to know our trade, getting to know (and to love), our players is far more important. 3. This is an INTENSE game, and it’ll never be “just a game”, but it IS a game. Remember that when you’re with your team, and more importantly, remember that when you’re with your family. 4. Just as we teach our athletes to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our athletes better than they were when they first entered into our program. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every individual. 5. Life is complicated enough, let’s not complicate the game in such a way that we take the joy of it away from others. In other words… Keep it simple. 6. Our words carry little (or NO), value, if we don’t practice what we preach. WE as coaches should be learning and growing each and every day, just as we expect our athletes to. 7. As much as we all want to win those championship rings for our athletes, make sure you don’t lose your wedding ring in the process. 8. The athlete that may be “difficult to reach/teach” (the one who may get on your last nerve more than you could ever imagine), is someone’s EVERYTHING. Get to know them as human beings, find out what motivates them, and do everything you can to help them to thrive. 9. Be where your feet are. Don’t fall into the trap of chasing logos and thinking that a higher division, a bigger school, or going from HS to college, or even college to the pros, is going to be more rewarding or fulfilling. 10. The legacy you leave as a coach will never be determined by your wins and losses, but by the lives you were able to change for the better!show more

They are their families, and we need to understand the magnitude of the calling, and responsibility we have to meet them where they are, and to help them to get to a place that they never thought possible. 3. It’s our JOB to teach the curriculum to SERVE our students, NOT to use our students to push any sort of agenda. 4. Just as we teach our students to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our students better than they were when they first entered into our classroom. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every child. 5. We should not teach our children WHAT to think, but HOW to think, and how to use that knowledge to bless and serve not only themselves, but the world around them. 6. If we don’t make learning fun, children will view learning as a chore, and we we will be creating a generation of children who grow up to be young adults who don’t see the joy in learning new things. 8. June 4th, 1994 our lives forever changed. We said,... “I do!”. With those two words, we said, yes, to all the highs, the lows, and everything in between. God has blessed us with four absolutely amazing children who are now amazing adults, with their own best friends/significant others (that they’re doing life with), we have three incredible grandsons, and a beautiful granddaughter on the way. We’ve lived where we both grew up (on the East Coast), and have now been out here in San Diego for just over 11 years. We’ve gotten jobs (and lost jobs), we’ve had more times than we can count where we couldn’t make ends meet, even though both you and I were working two, and sometimes three jobs at a time, and we’ve been blessed in ways that we could’ve never dreamed of. We’ve watched both my parents pass on, and are now dealing with the overwhelmingly difficult challenge of seeing your parents struggle with their own health in ways that no one should have to go through. Through it all (even in the midst of the chaos), we’ve been blessed to be by each other‘s sides! I thank God for you every day, Jillian! I love our adventures together (the big ones where we fly to somewhere we’ve never been before, and the little ones where we hop in the car with no agenda, and just drive). I love when we find ourselves in deeper conversation, laughter, and tears of joy then ever expected, and in the moments of silence, where no words are even spoken, but when we’re together, just being where our feet are. Faking S*icide We strive to be an account... that does not spread negativity, but unfortunately it has come to the point where we can no longer accept the behaviour a certain XLOV ‘fan’ account has displayed. This started on the 23.12.24, where this account had attacked our admin team for creating a EVOL community as they had already made one, we tried to explain that it’s normal for fanbases to have multiple communities and that we shouldn’t be in competition as we are all supporting the same group. This then drastically escalated as they pretend to unalive themselves and blamed our account for this. We decided to move on from this as it was a concealed issue in the groupchat and we concluded that they were probably young and immature. We encountered no issues with them since this, that was until today. Today they had seemingly logged back into their account to post HATE towards Hyun. We absolutely and utterly do NOT condone this. This is beyond disgusting behaviour and no matter their age, they should know better. Their account has been deleted since, but since they have previously shared their names (also allegedly goes by Kevy, a person who runs several fan accounts for groups) and also have created an XLOV discord server (we are unsure as to whether or not this is still active) we urge EVOL to be aware of this person or anyone with a similar name displaying similar behaviour. We also urge EVOL to report and block any accounts spreading negativity and hate towards our boys, thankfully there have been little issues in our fanbase, but with posts like this appearing, please keep an eye out.show more

My son’s coach pitch team won their playoff game... Saturday. But he barely remembers the game. After the game, we had a potluck at the park. I brought out my Legends summer camp playlist, fired up the speaker, and before long... Every player and sibling was singing and dancing for well over an hour. It was pure joy. Parents laughed. Took photos and videos. Bonded. And on the walk back to the car, my son looked at me and said: “Dad, that party was so much fun.” He didn’t even mention the game. And that stuck with me. Hope will always have a home with us. As... I hinted at this morning, I got a sense from the property manager that this tear down ranch house may not be available as a rental for much longer… we could try to buy the lot but the process is long and complicated…and there would be no house standing while it all played out. And we’d be competing against a bunch of local developers. We went in another direction. To be honest this is a plan/project we’ve been working on for the last six months. I’ll cut to the chase. We bought a house under construction four doors down. It’s already part of Hope and the herd’s habitat so the adjustment should be fairly smooth. If you look at the first photo shot from the top floor of our new house you can see our small ranch rental between the blue house and light brown one. We’re moving in. Horrendous. Heartbreaking news from Amsterdam. Is this what we... have become? Modern day pogrom as we are remembering Kristallnacht. I am in Texas and it is middle of the night here as I write. Friends from Europe are texting and calling me about the horrendous situation in Amsterdam. In the night of November 7 in Amsterdam there were widespread and terrible raids on Jewish people. After the soccer game Ajax-Maccabi Tel Aviv, large groups of radical moslims violently attacked Jews, injured them, ran over them with cars… 💔 How is this possible? Why did it take the police so long to get there ? Even on European soil we fail to protect human dignity. Is this what we have become ? It's just terrible! Revolting! Imagine you are Jewish. And you know this: as soon as you walk out of your house to go running, go grocery shopping, go to school or to the synagogue, this can happen to you. How would you feel? I spoke about this situation of terrible discriminations this week in parliament. Worrying about antisemitism is not an exaggeration. Fighting it is our responsibility. The Dutch local government has failed. My thoughts are with the victims. I am furious with the Dutch local government. This is what we have become. Because we have forgotten that this violence is still possible if we are not honest, vigilant and decisive. If people who live in Europe are capable of this horrible attacks, it says a lot about how europe failed to impose its values even on its own soil. Increasingly, HTML Artifacts are becoming a core part of... how I work with AI agents. Long-horizon agent sessions need a better way to surface insights about what work it has done. This may not be obvious right now, but as you start to let your agent work on dynamic workflows, large codebases, long-running loops (e.g., using /goal), and deep research tasks, you need a good way to present results. Chat window is not it. You also don't want to just trust everything the agents do. Artifacts help provide an important verification layer, which in turn enables important decision-making. I like HTML artifacts because I can just ask the agent to produce as many of them (and in whatever form) as I need to verify the work and make sense out of everything. I even built a nice tab system for my artifacts. They are great for continual learning and research. I use HTML artifacts for logging, tracking experiments, brainstorming, managing my inbox, code reviews, agent session management, deep research, writing, reading, and so much more. I believe Andrej Karpathy wrote about this somewhere: As we move on to more advanced applications of AI agents and outputs get more complex, we will start to find the need for even more advanced forms of interactions with AI, including interactive neural videos/simulations.show more
