Just days ago in the Argentina vs Algeria game, Messi caught an Algerian player from behind so badly with a brutal tackle. No foul, no booking and not even a second glance from the referee as he waved play to continue. Then fast forward to today, a very similar scenario, except there was very small to almost no contact between the Qatar player and the Canada player who got fouled as he made for goal just before the box as shown in the second footage attached Here the referee instantly stops play and shows the Qatar player a yellow card right away which after a VAR review is even upgraded to a straight red card. I still don’t know how this penalty was not... awarded to Morocco in the last World Cup against France. It happened right in front of the referee. I think I’m close to a burn out. For... the last few weeks it feels like I haven’t been able to think. Let alone do deep work. My brain just draws a blank. Super frustrating. Even thinking what tiles I should put into our new house feels like too much already. The first few weeks I tried to force myself to work anyway. Obviously made it even worse. So, this week I decided I’m just going to take a break. Go on hikes, drive my bike, read books and play video games. I had this before and eventually it would go away. Made me realise though that I should put guards into place for the next time. Building a team is part of this. Focus on what I like to do and get help with all other tasks. There has been no offer to take three years of price rises off the table and while that stays there that particular discussion is kicked into 2029. No one *wants* to protest but if club management wave away any further discussion on the matter, it’s inevitable. If today’s protest is supported well then things will likely escalate. And all for what? £1.2m? We’re not making it up that people are angry and pissed off - they are. They want LFC to do it differently - to lead the way on protecting supporter culture instead of enabling other clubs to continue the race to make match-going only something for the richest. 4 separate handball incidents Connor Barron- • Gets the... ball hit at him and accidentally hits his arm while his body is turned • The ref doesn’t see it • Nobody claims it and the game plays on • There’s another 2 phases of play, including Aberdeen TOUCHING the ball • VAR pull it all the way back to disallow the goal Lawrence Shankland- • Intentionally controls the ball with his arm • Hearts go up the park and score • Shankland barely celebrates and openly says “it’s a handball” about 5 times • VAR “check” it and allow the goal • Then Shankland celebrates it Gogic and Trusty handballs- • After getting a penalty vs Celtic for Sterling’s “handball” they set the bar that anything going on target, hand away from the body, accidental or not, it’s a penalty. Also the fact Dundee conceded a penalty for a handball offence with a pass going away from goal the same day 😂 The ONLY thing that’s the same in all these incidents is they benefit any team up against Rangers.
