🚨 More details emerging from the devastating storm damage... in Lynndyl, Utah. The National Weather Service has received reports of widespread wind and hail damage across the area, including trees snapped and uprooted, power lines down, homes damaged and railroad cars overturned. At this point, there are no directly measured wind speeds from the storm, so we don’t yet know exactly how strong the winds were. However, the damage pattern is providing some important clues. Videos and photos show numerous trees knocked down in the same direction, which is consistent with strong, straight-line winds. There is currently no obvious convergent damage signature suggesting a tornado in the areas documented so far. That said, the investigation isn’t over. The National Weather Service has a survey team heading to Lynndyl to assess the damage firsthand. They’ll be looking closely at the damage pattern, vegetation, structures and other evidence to determine how intense the winds were and whether anything more significant occurred. So for now, the big question remains: Just how strong were the winds in Lynndyl? We should have a much better answer after the survey is completed, weather permitting. This was an incredibly powerful storm, and the damage coming out of Millard County is remarkable. 📍 Lynndyl, Utah 📷 Mike Frandsenshow more

Early afternoon Lake Geneva and surrounding areas got hit... with significant straight line wind gusts! Units from around all of Southeastern Wisconsin were called to the city with a MABAS 5th alarm for the extensive amount of damage in town. Being that it is the Fourth of July weekend there were a large amount of tourists outside and on the lake as the storm rolled in. Therefore extensive rescue boats and sonar teams were requested as well to help in the efforts of saving boats and other water vessels that were affected. Reports have come in of missing persons on the water as the search is ongoing. Photos below showing some of the damage on the north side of town We were live just to the east as this storm tried to produce a tornado moments after the storm impacted this area. 🌪️ Drone footage of a possible tornado last night... near Midtown in Kansas City. The multiple bright green flashes seen coming from the ground were electrical arcs from power lines. Powerful winds, debris hurled into the wires, or damage to utility poles and lines can send bright bursts of green and blue into the night sky, illuminating the storm from below. A Tornado Warning was in effect at the time, and Doppler radar showed a signature consistent with at least damaging straight-line winds and possibly a tornado. 📸 Bryce Finkeldei looking south from the World War I Museum. Yesterday while mowing the assholes were in the sky,... but the trails were different this time… they had a little squiggles. Picture to the right, I just took It. They’re out there spraying as I type… …because it’s gonna rain this evening and we’re gonna have horrific winds. Straight line winds… Betty what are those? Straight-line wind refers to a powerful, fast-moving surface wind that lacks a rotational pattern and can cause widespread damage, often resulting from thunderstorms. These winds can reach speeds of over 100 mph and are typically associated with downbursts. Then followed by a freeze again… Who can tell Betty what will happen to all the fruit trees and bloom right now? The freeze is expected to occur in parts of the Midwest and East Coast of the United States early next week, specifically from March 19 to March 21, 2026. During this timeframe, temperatures are predicted to drop significantly, with highs falling into the 30s and 40s degrees Fahrenheit, following a period of unusually mild temperatures. How is it that these weather people can predict the wind starting in a hour… Because it’s controlled 🙄 Protect & Prepare 💖🫵🏻show more

Kīlauea Eruption Update — The Big 5-0! Episode 50... of Kīlauea summit lava fountaining began at 10:10 a.m. HST today, June 27, and is ongoing. This is the 50th lava fountaining episode in the eruption that began in Kīlauea summit caldera in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park on December 23, 2024. The lava fountain from the north vent is reaching an estimated 600-700 feet high above the vent. According to the National Weather Service, surface winds below the inversion level (about 8000 feet or 2400 meters above sea level) are forecast to be moderate to strong tradewinds out of the northeast, which will move the lower part of the plume to the southwest and result in tephrafall in that direction. Above the inversion layer, very light winds are forecast up to 18000 feet (5000 meters), which might allow the plume to spread out. Above this, winds will become more westerly and strengthen. Higher level winds could push parts of the plume to the east and could result in ash and Pele’s hair falling to the east. Fountaining episodes typically last 12 hours or less, but ash can remain in the air for longer depending on wind and weather conditions. Please stay aware of hazards and rely on official updates from USGS, National Weather Service, and Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park. 🎥 Video of episode 50 on June 27, 2026. #Kilauea #Eruption #Lavashow more

Happy Tuesday! So far we're quite happy with where... Mel and Warwick landed on the 6 cost side, so for TFT13.4 it's time to get Viktor there. Right now a zero item Viktor is providing far too much power and utility, while an itemized Viktor doesn't feel like its different enough or worth the investment. Even 2* Viktor is the worst of the 2* 6 costs. So let's change that! Viktor will no longer shred and sunder, and the % HP damage part of his spell is going down significantly. However in exchange, the damage is going up a decent amount. An itemless Viktor will do around the same amount of damage as before, but now giving him items will feel much better! This should get Viktor in line with the other 6 costs. And while we were at it, we had to fix what is probably the most annoying issue...the 50/50. Now if both players have a Viktor and neither is interrupted, instead of it being an awkward coin flip, they will now both properly cast and stun everything. Huzzah! (See video) Ok that's it for today's update. Hope you have a great day! Take it easy :)show more

At Dreamforce, the exploration of the possibilities of AI... is incredible. At the same time, it's important that we understand that policies never move at the same speed as technology. So having a grasp over what is happening and how the negative aspects of AI don't proliferate in a big way, to minimize collateral damage is most important. 🚨 NOW: President Trump announces that the left’s CRIMINALLY-caused... algae has been REMOVED from the Lincoln Reflecting Pool Now EVEN MORE damage has to be repaired at our monuments. PRISON! “They cut the lower surface of a very expensive and strong waterproof padding, in the color of American Flag Blue, and put their hands underneath the surface, and ripped it. Likewise, they cut and butchered a 350 foot long strip, with many 1 and 2 foot individual cuts, creating great damage to this beautiful piece of art that was, last week, 100% free of leaks, and any of the other problems it has had since its building in 1922.” “It never worked properly until last week and, right after July 4th, when we will drain the water to treat the damage caused by these “animals,” it will again be in perfect shape.” “In the meantime, it is working well, the criminally made algae is gone, and the grass, which was destroyed, is being replaced shortly.” Margo Martinshow more
