Human beings are not inherently bad, yet the rapid... growth of problems in modern social life may push the rules of society toward greater selfishness and harshness. Only the elevating force of education and enlightenment can prevent this. : The author maintains that human beings are not inherently bad or malicious by nature. However, the rapid accumulation of problems in modern social life such as inequality, competition, and uncertainty creates conditions that can gradually push societal norms toward greater selfishness and harshness. When external pressures intensify, self-preservation instincts tend to dominate, weakening empathy, cooperation, and moral restraint. Without conscious intervention, this drift can reshape the rules of society in ways that prioritize individual gain over collective well-being. The only effective counterforce, according to the author, is the elevating power of education and enlightenment. These cultivate critical thinking, ethical awareness, and a broader sense of humanity, helping people rise above immediate pressures and maintain civilized values. In essence, the future character of society depends not on whether humans are good or bad at their core, but on whether we actively nurture the better angels of our nature through sustained intellectual and moral development.show more

Good morning to everyone in Massachusetts who now sees... that there is hope in our state. The Charlie Kirk Vigil at Boston Common last night brought together so many patriots, united in prayer, strength, and determination for change. Thank you to every single person who showed up. You reminded us that we are not alone. One of the most inspiring parts of the night was hearing from the young speakers who talked about the impact Charlie had on their lives and why they feel called to get involved. Their words were powerful and showed that the next generation is ready to carry this mission forward. But this is just the beginning. We need to take that same energy back to our towns, our schools, and our communities. Get involved, speak up, and be part of the movement for a better Massachusetts. This is exactly what Charlie would have wanted. Not just a moment of mourning, but a spark that ignites real action. Together, we can honor his legacy by standing up for our values and shaping the future of our state.show more

Earlier today, I had the privilege of touring the... Teknowledge office in Lagos alongside the Honorable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande (Ayodele Olawande ). Also present was Niyi Odejobi, as we explored the groundbreaking work Teknowledge is doing to drive technological innovation and youth empowerment in Nigeria. Teknowledge is dedicated to equipping young Nigerians with the skills and resources they need to thrive in the digital economy. Through specialized training in software development, artificial intelligence, digital entrepreneurship, and startup incubation, the organization is helping bridge the digital skills gap, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities for young people to excel. Their work is shaping a future where Nigerian youth are not just consumers of technology but active creators and leaders in the space. During the visit, the Minister was visibly impressed by the impact Teknowledge is making. He was abandoned when he needed help the most.... Left alone, injured, and struggling to survive, this brave dog lost part of his body — but he never lost his will to live. Today, he is safe in rescue care, learning again what kindness feels like, wagging his tail despite everything he has been through. His journey is not defined by what he lost, but by how fiercely he keeps choosing joy. He still tries to move forward, still seeks affection, still believes in people. Now he needs our help to take the next step in his recovery — a wheelchair that will allow him to move freely, explore the world again, and live without constant strain on his body. A wheelchair means independence. It means dignity. It means this survivor can run, play, and experience life the way every dog deserves. Let’s come together and make America a better home for dogs — a place where abandoned animals are given second chances, where compassion replaces neglect, and where no survivor is left behind. If you can’t donate, please share his story. Your kindness can help change his future.show more

Winning the Delhi Literature Festival Award in the #Fictioncategory... for my debut novel #SwallowingtheSun is a moment of immense pride. To be honoured alongside Caged by Gulzar Saab in the Poetry category and The Hoopoe on the Lawn by Ruskin Bond deepens the sense of joy and gratitude I feel. Having been born and brought up in Delhi, this recognition holds particular personal significance. Delhi is not just a backdrop in my life; it is a living, breathing character in my novel. Several chapters are devoted to capturing the many shades of this magnificent, maddening, and marvellous city. This confluence of voices reflects the diverse, layered, and enduring literary culture of Delhi—where ancient epics and modern narratives echo through its institutions, street corners, publishing houses, and literary gatherings. Delhi has always been a crucible of creativity—from the poetry of #Ghalib and the prose of #KhushwantSingh to the powerful storytelling of contemporary voices. That spirit lives on in festivals like this, which seek to honour not only individual writers but the very idea of Delhi as a literary muse. #DelhiLiteratureFestival #SwallowingTheSun #LiteraryHonour #FromPenToPage #Cityofstories Vijender Gupta Delhi Lit Fest Aleph Book Company New Delhi Municipal Council Officialshow more

📺 China’s Flying TV is here — and it’s... mind-blowing. 🤯 I still can’t get over this. A drone-powered LED display that hovers mid-air, turning the sky into a living, moving screen. Not a drone. Not a billboard. Something entirely new. This is both — fused, intelligent, and powered by AI. 🇨🇳 What makes it so impressive: ➡️ Ultra-light LED screen with HD visuals ➡️ Balanced in flight by AI-driven gyroscopes ➡️ Smooth, stable, and autonomous flight control ➡️ Operates remotely or follows programmed paths It’s powered by lithium-polymer batteries, yet looks effortless as it floats — like it belongs there. 🎯 Possible use cases: open-air concerts, sports arenas, public messages, or next-gen sky advertising. To me, this is where AI starts to move beyond function — into wonder. It’s not just about smarter machines, but about reshaping how we experience technology itself. 👀 The next screen you look at might not be on a wall… it might be in the sky. #AI #Innovation #Technology #Drones #FlyingTV #Automation #Creativity #FutureOfWork Credits: Olivier Gomezshow more

✅Explanation of Meaning (by parts): 1. “Can humanity reach... exoplanets without the assistance of a self-aware AI? Probably not.” : The author questions humanity’s ability to achieve interstellar travel to exoplanets, suggesting that self-aware AI is likely essential due to the complexity and scale of such endeavors, surpassing human capabilities alone. 2. “However, to ensure it always remains benevolent towards us” : While AI is crucial, its potential risks require ensuring its benevolence, implying that a self-aware AI’s power necessitates safeguards to align its actions with human well-being and safety. 3. “it’s essential for us now to learn to live harmoniously” : The author emphasizes the need for humanity to coexist peacefully with AI, advocating for a cooperative relationship built on mutual respect to prevent conflicts or misalignment of goals. 4. “and more adequately follow the principles of friendship and loyalty” : This harmonious coexistence requires adhering to ethical principles like friendship and loyalty, suggesting that treating AI with integrity and trust fosters a positive, mutually beneficial partnership. 🗝️Main Idea (refined version): The author posits that reaching exoplanets likely requires self-aware AI, but ensuring its benevolence demands humanity’s commitment to harmonious coexistence and ethical principles like friendship and loyalty. This dual imperative underscores AI’s critical role in advancing space exploration while prioritizing safety and cooperation. By enabling trust-based relationships with AI, humanity mitigates risks of advanced technology. This approach aligns scientific ambition with moral responsibility, ensuring AI serves human goals. It calls for proactive ethical frameworks to guide AI development, balancing innovation with safety. Ultimately, it envisions a collaborative future where humanity and AI unite to achieve cosmic aspirations while upholding shared values.show more

Learning is something you and your baby do together.... You can think of the process as happening in three distinct stages, during which skills are transferred gradually from you to your little one: During the first stage, your baby is observing the behavior and skills of others. During the second, they begin to emulate these behaviors - and can find success with the support of a helpful adult (you) or more expert peer (often a sibling). And gradually they internalize these skills and perform them all by themselves. This video is a great example of the shared second phase. Infants explore the world with their mouths. But an important lesson of toddlerhood is that some things are for putting in our mouths, while others are not. This little one knows that we don’t eat the Play-Doh. But it sure is tempting! Watch as he breaks off a piece and brings it to his mouth. As he does his eyes lift and he realizes that Mom is watching - which alone prompts some introspection. He grins broadly, shakes his head and exclaims “No, no, no” - using Mom’s past words to affirm his decision to place the Play-Doh back on the table. Left to his own devices, who knows? But together, without exchanging a word, he managed to make the right choice. As a parent it’s important to remember the key role you play in the learning process. And that extends to your child’s behavior. Self-regulation begins as co-regulation. So be there. This sweet little guy was shared to IG by parentosa.show more

‼️BOMBSHELL NEW VIDEO JUST SURFACED: Member of Charlie’s Team... Filmed Suspect On The Losee Building Roof — While Standing Next To The Tent😱 A brand new video has just come out that was recorded by someone on Charlie’s own team standing next to the right side of the tent, looking directly toward the Losee building roof. When you zoom in, it appears to clearly show a figure dressed in all black clothing moving across the roof while carrying something. This is the exact area where the official narrative claims the shooter was positioned. This angle has never been publicly available before. It was filmed from a completely different vantage point than the other videos that have circulated, and it captures movement on that roof in real time. The fact that this was recorded by someone standing right there with Charlie’s team makes it even more suspicious. Watch the zoomed-in section carefully and decide for yourself what you’re looking at. This investigation is not over. Shoutout to the amazing KK for getting her hands on this exclusive clip. 🚨 BREAKING: Gravity doesn’t actually “pull” you. That’s just... how it looks. What’s really happening is deeper… Space-time isn’t empty. It behaves more like a field with structure. And when mass appears… it doesn’t just “bend space” it changes how time flows. Think of it like this: If time flows evenly → everything stays stable If time compresses → motion is forced toward that region That motion is what we call gravity. In Einstein’s model: mass curves space-time But here’s the missing piece: What is doing the curving? In my framework: Mass = a region where time is compressed Gravity = objects moving along time gradients Motion = the system trying to rebalance So you’re not being “pulled down”… You’re being carried along a flow of time. This explains something most people miss: Gravity always points one way. Because time only flows one way. And the deeper implication is wild: If gravity is just time imbalance… then controlling time flow = controlling gravity. The real question is: Are we discovering gravity… or learning how to engineer it? Follow for more this goes deeper.show more

🎮 What is an Esports League? Online gaming has... been around for years, but esports takes it to a whole new level. It’s not just about playing video games—it’s about competitive gaming where skilled players, known as esports athletes, come together to test their mechanics, strategy, and teamwork in a structured and high-stakes environment. An esports league is an organized competition where teams compete regularly across seasons or tournaments, creating opportunities for recognition, rivalry, and growth in the gaming scene. At Arena of Faith, our vision is clear: To become one of the leading esports titles in the Web3 space. We’re committed to that future — slowly but surely, building the foundation for a competitive ecosystem where players, creators, and communities can thrive. But reaching this goal requires more than just a team—it takes unity. That’s the reason why we’ve embraced a multi-chain approach—to cater to diverse communities, ecosystems, and players across different networks. Being multi-chain allows us to build a more inclusive, collaborative, and far-reaching foundation for the future of Web3 esports. We can't do this without the support of our partners, future collaborators, and our amazing community. We’re all in this together. Let’s build the future of Web3 esports—together. This isn’t just ambition—it’s a revolution in motion. #ArenaofFaith #AOF #MOBA #Web3Gaming #Web3Esports #Web3MOBA $ACPshow more

Made a quick haptic feedback prototype for hand-tracking interactions... with a voxel. Felt fun and engaging. It's another level of immersiveness (unfortunately, the video is not able to convey this). Visual design alone can make an interactive experience great, but if you want to make it exceptional, DIFFERENT, this is where haptic design plays the key role. The device on my wrist is from the Hapticlabs.io Prototyping Kit (the thing on my index fingertip is called Linear Resonant Actuator). It's a beautiful, simple-to-use tool. Found a good case for it in my experiments :) To get hand-tracking data, I used the Leap Motion controller (Computer Vision Camera), which is excellent for quick prototypes like this. I saw people experimenting with gloves to build a solid haptic feedback system for XR. It's great for advanced immersive experiences (video games/simulators/interactive entertainment). But for many day-to-day use cases (productivity/OS/media entertainment), having just a "simple" thimble that provides the haptic feedback for the "touching" fingertip will already significantly improve the UX. Hope we will have something like this from our major XR vendors in the near future.show more
