Vehicles were stopped, and passengers were reportedly subjected to ID checks. ▪In Panjgur, two police vehicles were seized along with arms. Several police officials were reportedly detained by the attackers. ▪A police station was captured, its weapons seized, and subsequently set ablaze. ▪A check post in the Bonistan area was also taken over by the armed men. ▪Reports indicate that operatives of a government-backed militia, locally referred to as the "death squad" under the command of a figure known as Qasim, were injured during the clashes. These incidents follow a major armed operation in the Hoshab district, where militants reportedly took control of the area. In Jaisalmer’s Pokaran area, a metallic object resembling a missile reportedly fell near the courtyard of a resident in Jaimla village under Bhaniyana sub-division. Minor damage to nearby fencing was observed. Local police from Sankra station and village sarpanch Amanaram visited the site, with several villagers also gathering out of concern. Preliminary reports indicate the incident was accompanied by a loud sound heard earlier in the morning. The matter is currently under investigation by security agencies. In a separate incident, a similar object was found in an agricultural field in Gida village, Balotra (Barmer district). A sound was reported from the site where the object fell. Local police and administrative officials reached the location promptly, and the Army has been informed. Authorities have requested residents to avoid the area as a precautionary measure.
