Vehicles were stopped, and passengers were reportedly subjected to ID checks. ▪In Panjgur, two police vehicles were seized along with arms. Several police officials were reportedly detained by the attackers. ▪A police station was captured, its weapons seized, and subsequently set ablaze. ▪A check post in the Bonistan area was also taken over by the armed men. ▪Reports indicate that operatives of a government-backed militia, locally referred to as the "death squad" under the command of a figure known as Qasim, were injured during the clashes. Jaisalmer/Barmer, Rajasthan – Two separate incidents involving missile-like objects... were reported early Saturday from border regions of Rajasthan. In Jaisalmer’s Pokaran area, a metallic object resembling a missile reportedly fell near the courtyard of a resident in Jaimla village under Bhaniyana sub-division. Minor damage to nearby fencing was observed. Local police from Sankra station and village sarpanch Amanaram visited the site, with several villagers also gathering out of concern. Preliminary reports indicate the incident was accompanied by a loud sound heard earlier in the morning. The matter is currently under investigation by security agencies. In a separate incident, a similar object was found in an agricultural field in Gida village, Balotra (Barmer district). A sound was reported from the site where the object fell. Local police and administrative officials reached the location promptly, and the Army has been informed. Authorities have requested residents to avoid the area as a precautionary measure. A fire broke out in a private bus in... Malad East on Tuesday morning.The incident occurred at 10.01 am. Passengers were immediately evacuated from the bus as flames engulfed the vehicle. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control by 10.33 am. No injuries were reported in the incident. Several agencies were mobilised to handle the situation, including the Mumbai Fire Brigade, Mumbai Police, Metro authorities, the 108 ambulance service and the traffic police. Traffic movement in the area was briefly affected as emergency teams worked to douse the fire and secure the site.show more
