If I say something, I’ll be bashed for “criticizing”... But seriously- 2 escalators at CSMT metro station, both going down during evening peak hours, when thousands are exiting to catch trains. To all the infra experts out there - what’s the logic behind this? 🤔 MumbaiMetro3show more

All the non-Sesame Street Muppet productions have “cooldown sections”... filled to the brim with unhinged interactions, all done in-character. If you want an especially wild example of such sessions, here’s one recorded during a filming session for Bear in the Big Blue House:show more

🇮🇱MISSILE HITS EMPTY SYNAGOGUE IN SOUTHERN ISRAEL An Iranian... ballistic missile struck a synagogue in southern Israel, causing significant structural damage but no casualties. The religious building was empty at the time, not due to foresight by Iran, but sheer luck and timing. No prayers, no people, just shattered walls and blown-out windows. The strike adds to a growing list of civilian and non-military sites targeted during this round of missile attacks. As one analyst put it: when you’re aiming for fear over accuracy, even a sacred space becomes a target. Emergency crews are on-site assessing the damage. Source: Yediotshow more

EB technicians were seen removing fuses in some areas... around perumbakkam sithalapakkam medavakkam. On enquiry, residents were told it was being done to reduce the load on the main transformer. Not sure how accurate this explanation is. Could you please confirm if there is any order like that sir CTR.Nirmalkumar ? The power cut issue in Chennai seems to be real. Can the authorities please clarify whether there is an actual power shortage, ongoing maintenance work, or if these outages are being caused by some other reason?show more

This is Mylapore, off Radhakrishnan Salai near Vivekananda college.... NO ONE has come to clear the water here. It’s been like this since yesterday, and by the minute more sewage water is coming out and getting mixed. Water has entered all the houses at ground floor level here. Please do something about this and other parts of Mylapore. Water has never stagnated here, not even during the 2015 floods. All through the year, they kept digging up the roads and multiple times the roads caved in and they kept restoring. Now the whole thing has reversed and water is completely stagnated. People in the apartments and houses here are not able to step outside to get basic needs and provisions. Not even drinking water. We’ve not had power for more than 48 hours now. The power was cut around 10 PM day before yesterday. No network either, until we come out of the apartment or go to some corners in the terrace. Greater Chennai Corporation GREATER CHENNAI POLICE -GCP KINDLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS AREA AT THE EARLIEST! #ChennaiRains #CycloneMichaung #Chennai #ChennaiRains2023show more

In an interview with PM News, the OAU PRO... said: “What they claimed was that around 7 to 9 am they normally queue up… we have rush hours everywhere in Nigeria. In Lagos, the rush hours start from even 4 am till 9 am… You do not now use that as yardstick to say we should go back to old system.” “Her Excellency… gave us 50 mass transit buses. So, I don’t know what they mean by they are not adequate.” “We don’t want a situation where they will pressure the management to bring back the backward system we have discarded.” “Even in the U.S., in Britain, if you want to enter train, you queue. What is the stress there?”show more

Dear Ashwini Vaishnaw ji, We are so happy that... you are relaunching the IRCTC website in 30 days. Instead of working on CAPCHA, please ensure the following: 1. The Site should not crash during Tatkal bookings. Zero crashes especially during payments. 2. Ensure that Senior Citizens get Lower Berths (even now, many Senior citizens get Middle or Upper) even if they book a little later (Algorithm can be fixed) 3. Introduce More General Coaches to accommodate more Travelers 4. Strict Penalty for Unreserved Passengers occupying Reserved Seats. Work on AI cameras to detect this 5. RAC passengers should only pay half the fare for half the seat. So, once chart is prepared, please refund the 50% fare. This can easily be incorporated using simple technology. 6. If any train is delayed for more than 2 hours, refund should be issued automatically. 10% per hour delay. This can be done with some technology. 7. People's time should be valued. Tech can be used for the same. CAPCHA can wait. These things cannot !!! Request my audience to add more points so that the new website can have all these things in next 30 days 😍 #FIshow more

A newly built highway in Sichuan, China. Someone asked:... "Where are all the cars? If this were LA, there'd be five trillion vehicles bumper to bumper." Here's the thing: China often plans ahead. We build infrastructure not just for today's traffic, but for tomorrow's growth. There's a saying we live by: If you want to get rich, build a road first. 🛣️💡 Better roads → better logistics → stronger local economies. It's a different approach: less focus on short-term ROI, more investment in long-term development. Not every empty stretch means a mistake. Sometimes, it just means we're building the future — before the demand even arrives. 🌱show more

Trick-or-Treating is not dead, just concentrated and organized. In... our neighborhood, residents are advised to buy 1500 pieces of candy. That is usually not enough, so we end up closing early. The line in this video will last for two hours, and at a strict one piece per child, will consume our 30-lb stockpile. We are the White neighborhood surrounded by non-white neighborhoods. If you want this for your neighborhood, you must make a production of it. Ask the police to barricade the street, and announce it in the newspaper.show more

I always wondered "What if I port my three.js... game to Rust? Will it improve performance?" I finally ported it to both Rust Desktop and Rust WASM (that runs on the browser) Comparing the three.js version with the Rust desktop I had a clear winner: Rust desktop. But now I took the time to port it to the web using Web Assembly (WASM) And my conclusion is... A tie! Both versions averaged 42FPS (60FPS if running one at a time) So if your goal is to ship a web game, it doesn't even matter the tech you use. (Three.js is recommended because the ecossystem is huge though) As long you optmize well (Web workers, reduce triangles, draw calls, etc) you should be good to go. But in the event you want to ship a native game to publish on Steam a system language (Rust, C++, etc) will be better for you. Now I want to port the three.js game to Desktop using Electron and see the results. I'll let you know. Btw, I'm open to new freelance projects. If you have anything for me, my DMs are open!show more

The reason so many people try to claim that... walking is superior for fat loss is because so many people are incredibly unfit The premise with this claim is that 1/ Walking keeps your HR low so you burn more fat than carbs (aerobic vs anaerobic energy system) 2/ Running or HIIT causes hunger spikes and that you actually burn way less kcals than you’d eat after such efforts Instead of claiming that 1 modality is better than the other, the real goal should be to get people to move more during the day so they increase their total daily energy expenditure (and increase their muscle mass) If they enjoy walking, let them walk If they enjoy running, let them run If they enjoy playing a sport, let them play a sport But these dogmatic is what keep people stuck in their fitness journeyshow more

🚄FROM VANDE BHARAT TO KOLKATA TRAMS: JUPITER WAGONS’ BIG... BET ON BENGAL’S RAIL FUTURE!🚋 One of India’s leading railway manufacturers, Jupiter Wagons, is making a major leap into passenger rail—and West Bengal is at the centre of its expansion plans. 🏭 New Hooghly coach factory: Jupiter Wagons will establish a dedicated manufacturing facility in Hooghly to build Vande Bharat trainsets, Metro coaches and other passenger rolling stock, making it Bengal’s second Vande Bharat coach manufacturing hub after Titagarh Rail Systems’ Uttarpara plant. 🚆 Entering the Vande Bharat era: The company is expanding beyond freight wagons to compete in India’s rapidly growing passenger rail market, targeting upcoming Vande Bharat, Metro and suburban train opportunities. 🌍 Global technology partnerships: Jupiter is working with international partners, including an existing collaboration with CAF (Spain), as it prepares to bid for major passenger rail projects, including Mumbai’s ₹20,000 crore suburban rail programme. ⚙️ Building the complete ecosystem: A new wheelset manufacturing facility in Odisha, developed with international partners, will supply critical wheels and axles for passenger coaches while also serving export markets. 🚋 Kolkata trams could benefit too: The company has expressed interest in participating in the modernisation of Kolkata’s historic tram network, should the state’s revival plans move ahead. 📈 Ambitious growth plans: Jupiter Wagons is targeting annual revenues of ₹10,000 crore over the next few years, with passenger rail expected to become a major growth driver. If these plans materialise, West Bengal will strengthen its position as one of India’s leading railway manufacturing centres—producing everything from freight wagons and Metro coaches to Vande Bharat trains and potentially even modern trams. #WestBengal #VandeBharat #Railwaysshow more

Meta's new Andromeda algorithm just killed the old playbook.... And most media buyers are still running 2023 strategies. I spent the last 3 months testing Meta's new system with brands spending $50k-$500k/month. Here's what changed: Meta now punishes accounts that rely on single winning ads. The algorithm actively rewards creative diversity and specific account structures that 90% of advertisers don't understand. I documented the complete Andromeda playbook that covers: → The 15-20 creative diversity rule (and how to produce it without burning out) → The 3-second similarity detection hack Meta revealed in their workshop → CPM reduction tactics that cut costs by 40-54% → Intraday scaling framework that 12x'd revenue during peak hours → Account structure consolidation (why your 10+ campaigns are killing performance) → Bid cap conditioning strategy with exact numbers → Black Friday acceleration protocol (hour-by-hour playbook) If you're running Meta ads and want to scale profitably in 2025, this is everything you need. -Like this post and comment "ANDROMEDA" -Follow me I'll DM you the full playbook for FREE. 🚨Sister took a Uber to #Bengaluru Airport , irrespective... of the humidity the Uber driver DID NOT SWITCH ON AC , when she told him a couple of times to switch on the AC he was first adamant at not understanding the language and stressed on speaking in Kannada, also he told that he won’t be switching on the AC , she can get down if she want Hello Uber India , why don’t you add an option , only those understating Kannada can take #Uber cabs in Bengaluru , or you can add a feature of Hindi English speaking driver should only pick those passengers who don’t understand Kannada . The anti Hindi anti north hate spread by regional parties and groups to gather attention has ruined the name and spoiled the image of the IT capital of India , language is a matter of pride but you can’t force that on anyone , people knowingly don’t want to interact in Hindi or English , some even get violent with none Kannadigas , this way these people are doing more harm to the state they claim they love . Sad , the divisive politics of the opposition has ruined the Mojo of Namma Bengalurushow more
