You need 2-3 rest days per week minimum. Why?... Because fatigue accumulates faster than it dissipates. Training 6 days per week means you're progressively more fatigued each session, which means you're recruiting fewer high-threshold motor units, generating less mechanical tension, and making less progress while feeling like you're "putting in the work." Meanwhile the lad training 4 days per week with 3 full rest days is fresh for every session, lifting heavier weights, recruiting more motor units, and actually growing. One is working hard.
