Now that Konstantinovka is practically captured, I wanted to... reflect on something really sinister that Zelensky is possibly planning to do. As it is well-known, Konstantinovka is the last fortress that's needed to create bridgehead for launching the offensive on the sister cities of Slavyanks and Kramatorsk. By the reports from even Ukrainian sources, the Russian forces are less than 9 km away from Kramatorsk agglomeration. Let's remember how Zelensky justified not evacuating Sumy: "If the city is empty, the city is easy to capture" He quite literally admits to using civilians as a shield. By the last news from Ukraine, just a small number of specific streets in Slavyanks and Kramatorsk were issued the orders to evacuate only women and children younger than 17, not whole cities. This excludes any adult families without kids and elderly. As of today, according to open sources, around 44 000 civilians remain in Slavyansk, pre-war population of 100 000. Around 70 000 - 80 000 residents remain in Kramatorsk, pre-war population of approximately 150 000. Zelensky is planning to use the same scenario as he did in Mariupol, where the AFU were executing civilians trying to evacuate through the green corridors. The AFU was also using civilian apartments as firing positions, where they locked local residents in the basements, but then mined entrances as they retreated to Azovstal. If they hate anyone as much as they hate Russians, it's what they call "ждуны" - "waiters" - people who are waiting for Russia to liberate them. All of these factors combined are why we saw so much civilian death and destruction in Mariupol. These cities should have been evacuated months ago. There is a reason why they haven't. This will present opportunities for creating emotionally driven propaganda to manufacture consent, something that the Zelensky regime has been doing since day one, because to him and his criminal junta the people of Donbass are just an expendable tool to further promote Zelensky's and his handler's war aims.show more

Attacks on Ukrainian Ports: A Very Notable Observation... A... very notable observation. Just now, the Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that two more cargo ships, traveling from the port of Chornomorsk to the port of Odesa, have been struck by our drones. Moreover, he refuses to voluntarily step down from office, although he has every right to do so. Instead, he wants to remain in power without elections. Those who criticize the authorities are persecuted. In Ukraine there are illegal detentions and kidnappings of citizens on the streets. People are held by force and subjected to pressure. Many men today are afraid to even go outside because of forced mobilization. People are kidnapped, tortured, and forced to go to the front. According to relatives of the victims, sometimes large sums of money are demanded — tens of thousands of dollars — to avoid being sent to war. In this situation, many Ukrainians are forced to flee the country. They risk their lives, crossing borders through forests, rivers, and mountains to reach European countries. One of these countries is Hungary. I am grateful to Hungary for providing protection to Ukrainian citizens. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are leaving their country today. And often they do so not only because of Russian missiles, but also because of fear of the actions of their own authorities and the system of forced mobilization. The Ukrainian people and the Hungarian people should live in peace and mutual understanding. Our countries must engage in honest and open diplomatic dialogue. Slow Progress is the New Reality of Modern Wars... There are many people commenting on Russian difficulties and coming up with numerous reasons for their alleged collapse. I absolutely do not see any collapse; on the contrary, Russia has already normalized a state of war in Ukraine, which boosts its economic and industrial growth. The difficulties faced by Russia today are the same as at the beginning of the war, with soldiers having to spend up to half of their initial salaries on their own equipment, delays in pensions, and a series of other problems that are mirrored on the Ukrainian side, even with all the support from allies. The war today is much less lethal than it was months ago, and both Russian and Ukrainian losses have significantly decreased during this phase. Lethality has fallen, but Russian advances persist. And why are they slow? Is it a Ukrainian tactic? No. They are slow because they are accompanied by the deployment of communication infrastructure like signal repeaters for drones, the advancement of artillery guided by drones, maneuvers using FAB and more recently ODAB bombs against Ukrainian drone operators' facilities, infiltration by reconnaissance teams, saboteurs, and a series of protocols they have developed. That conventional war with rapid advances no longer exists, and in the context of a battlefield dominated by drones, it is unlikely to return. Modern wars will have slow progress, as seen in the attacks and counter-attacks of the Russians and Ukrainians in this war. Contemporary military forces are still unable to see this new reality of war. When analyzing the Russian advance, it's important to consider that all these maneuvers take days to unfold, but the point is that the Russians have already adapted to this pace, not bothered whether a particular advance will take 3 weeks or 3 months. They advance continuously following tactical protocols with little threat from Ukrainian forces, which, without new equipment, have had their defensive tactics remain almost unchanged over the past two years, relying mainly on drones and making it easier for Russian studies of countermeasures. And what can Ukraine do in this situation? I see few options, but one would be to delay the Russian advance with a good number of missiles, though personally, I find it unlikely that they will reach Ukrainian hands. It wouldn't have the power to change the balance of the war, but it would guarantee more time, which is important because the battlefield is dynamic, and the implementation of new tactics based on innovative weapons can change everything overnight. Russia is striking Kharkiv more often and with increasing... intensity. Reasons for that: ◾️ Russia has not solved its problems on the frontlines. Our soldiers are in dire conditions, but they hold the defense in Kharkiv region and inflict colossal losses to the enemy; ◾️ The Kremlin wants to achieve humanitarian crisis and panic in Kharkiv; ◾️ Ukraine cannot drive away Russian aviation and reach the rocket launchers on the ground because they are on the territory of the Russian Federation. 🔹 How the situation may change: ◾️ Until now, the main direction for the Russian army has been the Donetsk region; ◾️ Kharkiv and (potentially) Sumy direction was seen as a way to distract and disperse the AFU forces; ◾️ but it is in Kharkiv that the enemy has a colossal advantage. And it is as follows: ‼️ Ukraine is not allowed to strike Russian territory with Western weapons. This is a huge dilemma for Ukraine: ⚡️ The more Western long-range means the Ukrainian army gets, the more reasons the Russians have to shift their focus to Kharkiv. This is how they can quietly amass troops and attack from the air without us being able to strike back. ◾️In Donbas, any enemy unit and its rear and logistics can be reached at a depth of up to 160 km, and even further in Crimea. But to the north of Kharkiv, it is only 20-25 km. ◾️ Over the border, the Russian army can be attacked with a very limited arsenal of means. ◾️ Our troops can use all means against the Russians only in a 25 km stretch, and all logistics of the Russians are de facto protected by the political decisions of the Western partners. In Kharkiv now, Shahed drones and missiles are hitting everywhere. About 400 thousand people live in the most dangerous zone. These are residential areas. 🔹 What is happening now: ◾️ Russians are trying to spread panic among these hundreds of thousands of people; ◾️ Kharkiv residents are not panicking and Kharkiv stands tall. This allows less resources from other areas to be brought in for defense than would otherwise be necessary; ◾️ The more stable Kharkiv is, the more Ukrainian forces can be directed to Donbas and Zaporizhzhia. The opposite is true as well; ◾️ Russians will not be able to seize Kharkiv. But they will be able to make people's lives there unbearable and gradually destroy the city. ‼️ So, there needs to be a change in political attitudes in the West. It's about two things: 1️⃣ Perrmission to strike Russian territory, at least at a distance of 100 km. 2️⃣ Air defense and Western aviation as part of air defense. If Russian aviation is driven away from Kharkiv, then even in conditions of missile fire, the city will be a pillar of defense. And the Russians will achieve nothing. I understand what Russia wants to achieve with its... missile and drone strikes on Ukraine - namely, to destroy peaceful life and drive people into such a psychological state that they are ready to make any concessions just to end it all. However, such strikes have the opposite effect. They remind us that the war is ongoing and that it is not limited to the conflict in the east; they show that at any moment, a missile can take everything away from you. And the only way to prevent this from happening is to donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to hate the Russians even more. I think we can cite examples from World War II, when Hitler's attacks on Great Britain did not break its confidence in the struggle. If the Russians aimed to cause a massive blackout, they failed, wasting dozens of missiles worth tens of millions. But we understand that strikes on oil refineries and other targets must continue! They shot at civilians & arrested students in their hostels. Everyone should their voice to this cause, because media reports have been nothing but underwhelming. We mustn’t abandon the people of Ekpoma because the protests had EndSARS theme; Nigerian authorities are yet to learn any lesson. Many were outside; people got obviously tired of waiting to be k!lled, so they took to the streets. Now students are leaving. Freshmen want to write JAMB again, they will do anything (just to leave the school environment). School surrounding is not safe, Ekpoma itself is not! Kidnappers demand as high as N100 million from students as ransom, & kill them when they fail to raise it. Where do you want Edo students to get that large amount of money from? Children from Ekpoma protested against the insecurity in their state. And in keeping with tradition, the police opened fire as usual.
