i'm gonna be an old man who solves subd... topology puzzles instead of word searches 1. start off with a quad sphere, low subdivisions. 2. select all verts and bevel. subdivide the faces once. 3. select new faces and circularize. Inset and then delete faces. 4. makes sure the verts connect properly. 5. create another quad sphere, higher subdivisions and shrinkwrap the original to the new. 6. add subdiv, cast and solidify modifiers.show more
