iOS 26.4 is officially a disaster... 💀 I’ve had... my iPhone 17 Pro Max in a bootloop all night until the battery completely died. Even after a full discharge, a hard reset did absolutely nothing. I even tried plugging it into iTunes to see if I could bring it back to life, but it’s still completely unresponsive. 18.4GB for a brick. WTF Apple? 😭 #iOS26 #Apple #iPhone17ProMax #TechFailshow more

I found an old screen recording from my iPhone... 11 Pro Max with iOS 17 Decided to compare the animations to my iPhone 17 with iOS 27, and I have so many thoughts 😭 Overall, iOS 17 is INFINITELY smoother than iOS 27, purely due to its animation speed. Opening and closing apps is slow and elegant, accompanied by a beautiful wallpaper zoom. 27 is rough, fast, and lacks fluidity. For some reason, they got rid of the wallpaper zoom when opening/closing apps, making everything feel flat. All of that is paired with the atrocious performance of the iOS screen recorder that started with iOS 18 and still hasn’t been fixed. Notice how there are zero jitters on iOS 17, but both jitters and artifact on 27. This is not a hate post. I just wanted to share my thoughts. And no, this isn’t the problem of a “beta”. Stable iOS 26 has the exact same issues. Thanks 💔show more

Xiaomi 18 Fold with an iPhone Duo-style open and... close animation 👀 I installed a third-party mod that adds this animation when opening and closing the phone. Of course, it’s far from Apple-level smoothness, but it’s really cool to try this effect in my own hands.show more

Everyone’s looking at the fold. We’re looking at what’s... underneath it. 👀 Apple’s first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, brings a 7.6-inch display when opened, but the bigger shift could be happening inside. The A20 Pro is built for faster on-device AI, while iOS 27 adapts the experience as the phone changes form. Add a more deeply integrated Siri and AI-powered camera features, and this starts looking like more than Apple simply catching up with foldables. Apple may be late to the folding-phone party. But it’s arriving with hardware, software and AI designed to work together from day one. While the fold gets the headlines. The intelligence behind it might be the more interesting part. #Apple #iPhoneDuo #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #Techshow more

Washed the iPhone 17 Pro Max USB-C port with... fresh water to flush out salt residue. Hopefully this fixes the minor charging disconnect issue. I had submerged the iPhone 17 Pro Max in seawater to capture aquatic life and later forced Emergency Override for charging after it kept showing a warning even after 30 hours. After that, PD charging stopped working, while MagSafe and USB-C power bank charging worked fine. After 2–3 days, PD charging started working again, but it still disconnects occasionally and needs to be reinserted. Let’s see if flushing out the salt residue fixes it.show more

Since devices like the iPhone 15 Pro Max on... iOS 17.0–17.3.1 are becoming increasingly rare, I’d strongly recommend taking extra precautions to protect your device and, more importantly, that precious jailbreakable firmware. 😁 If you have kids around who might accidentally keep entering the wrong passcode, consider using a tweak such as NoMoreDisable to prevent repeated incorrect passcode attempts from causing problems. Another option is to enable Apple’s built-in security feature that erases the iPhone after 10 consecutive incorrect passcode attempts. Personally, if you’re sitting on a rare jailbreakable device, it’s worth taking a few extra precautions. 😂 Protect that iOS 17 device — you might not get another one! 🔥📱show more

Apple just redefined the smartphone era with the iPhone... Duo. This isn’t just another foldable—it’s full iPad mini-level productivity engineered into a razor-thin pocketable device. Apple took its time to solve the form factor properly, debuting an invisible crease, dual-battery architecture, and custom vapor chamber thermals. Key highlights: Silicon: Next-gen A20 Pro chip delivering unprecedented efficiency and power. Form Factor: Book-style hinge transforming a sleek everyday phone into an expansive canvas. Software: Adaptive multi-window multitasking built natively for iOS. Pricing & Availability: Starting at $1,999, pre-orders open October 16. The wait was long, but Apple entered the foldable arena to dominate it, not just participate. Are you making the switch, or staying on a classic slab? #AppleEvent #iPhoneDuo #TechNewsshow more

Apple didn’t just join the foldable game. They closed... it.iPhone Duo vs Galaxy Z Fold 8:• IP68 dust + water tight. Fold 8 is still IP48. Fine dust eats hinges. Apple sealed it.• A20 Pro on 2nm vs Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 on 3nm. Sustained performance and thermals aren’t close.• 31 hours inner-screen video vs Samsung’s 26-27. Dual-cell battery + vapor chamber.• 50% in ~20 minutes. MagSafe built in. Fold 8 still needs a case for magnets.• Nano-texture inner display + under-display FaceTime cam. No punch-hole, way less glare, crease almost gone.• Same 7.6" inner screen, but iOS Split View, Flex Mode that actually holds an angle, and Apple Pencil coming to both panels. Samsung spent years making foldables. Apple showed up, made it thinner when open, more durable, faster, and software-complete on day one.The Fold 8 just became last year’s phone.#iPhoneDuo #AppleEventshow more

Apple just turned Siri into a wrapper. the most... genius business move in AI this year. iOS 27 will lets us use claude, gemini, grok, perplexity, and more through Siri. install the app, toggle it on in settings. they spent years trying to make Siri compete. they couldn’t. so they turned the iPhone into an AI marketplace instead. every AI company now fights for a slot on 2.5 billion devices. Apple takes 30% of every subscription. no models to train. no data centers to build. no compute costs. just distribution. the middleman always win. the company that lost the AI race just figured out how to tax everyone lmao.show more

Did Kunal Chandgude really make such a harsh decision... just for an iPhone 15? 🤔 This is Sangita Patil, holding an iPhone 16 Pro while making a YouTube Shorts selfie video. According to the reports, her son Kunal bought an iPhone 15 but couldn’t pay its EMI. He asked his parents to pay it, but they refused. He then went to the edge of a cliff and threatened to jump if they didn’t pay the EMI. However, another report tells a completely different story. It says Kunal was already dealing with serious family problems and severe depression, while the village Sarpanch was offering him an iPhone 15 in an attempt to stop him from taking such a drastic step. My question is: Whywould a youngster, who knows that the iPhone 15 is already two generations old and wasn’t even the best model of its generation, take such an extreme step over it? And if his mother already owns an iPhone 16 Pro, how does the story of a family being unable to afford an iPhone 15 actually add up? To me, it points towards one possibility: Kunal may have had a deeply troubled relationship with his father, Murli, and whatever happened between them could have pushed him to that point. Of course, this is only my interpretation of the situation. I just hope Kunal and his parents rest in peace. Om Shanti 🕊️🕉️show more

So apparently Apple has begun production of a variable... aperture camera for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. This would let the lens physically change its aperture depending on lighting, opening up in low light and narrowing in bright scenes. The result should be better exposure control and more natural depth of field. Korean publication ETNews reports that Sunny Optical has already started producing the tiny actuators responsible for this movement with full camera module assembly expected to kick off in early summer. It’s happening! Concept video by fpt./YouTubeshow more

Cyberpunk 2077 just ran on an iPhone. Not through... cloud gaming. Not through Remote Play. Natively. A new open-source project called Madeira is bringing Windows PC games to non-jailbroken iPhones. It combines: • Wine (ARM64EC) • FEX x86-64 translation • DirectX 11 → Metal (DXMT) • JIT via StikDebug Current status: • Cyberpunk 2077 running in-game • ULTRAKILL playable • Thumper playable • Marvel Cosmic Invasion reaches gameplay The catch? It's still a research project, requires sideloading and JIT, and free Apple IDs need reinstalling every 7 days. This feels like one of the biggest breakthroughs for iPhone gaming.
