You can play in both portrait and landscape orientations, with the interface adjusting to the available screen space. And what’s really cool is that you can even continue playing with another app open alongside it. This is what I like about foldable phones. It’s not just about having a bigger screen, but how apps and games can adapt to different screen sizes and ways of using the device. Curious to see how more games will take advantage of the iPhone Duo. Can’t wait to try it myself!

Asked my friends and family what they think about iPhone Duo. Most of the reactions were basically: “Not for me” “Looks interesting, but I wouldn’t buy it” “Still can’t believe Apple actually made this” “Looks cool in videos, but I need to try it in person” Makes me think this probably won’t be a huge mainstream hit right away. It’s unfamiliar and expensive. But I can absolutely see it doing well in Asia and with tech nerds like me 😄 What are people around you saying about it?

Just experienced streamable 4D Gaussian Splatting content on Apple Vision Pro… and it's insane 🤯 Seeing life sized volumetric people performing right in my room is kind of mind blowing. It really feels like real humans are standing in front of you. And it streams online just like regular video. No massive downloads. No waiting. Awesome work by @gracia_vr 👏 Apple Vision Pro + Gaussian Splatting is one of the most futuristic things I’ve seen in a long time.

Wow… I honestly didn’t expect to see a brand as huge as Samsung use a fully AI-generated video for one of its products. I’m surprised that a brand with Samsung’s budget, talent, and production capabilities chose to generate an entire photorealistic commercial instead of filming it for real and that it’s already being used as an actual Instagram ad. AI-generated advertising went mainstream much faster than I expected… What do you think?

GTA IV running natively on Android 🎮 A modder used Claude to bring the Xbox 360 version to Android, building on the work of Liberty Recompiled and ReXGlue. Instead of running a full Xbox 360 emulator, the game’s code is translated ahead of time and compiled to run natively on Android. It’s still an experimental, unofficial port, but with a controller connected, it plays very well on my Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phone. Having Liberty City in my hands like this is such a joy and nostalgia. Awesome people with AI coding tools are making things I could only dream of years ago. What a time to be alive.

Spatial videos on Apple Vision Pro are certainly cool, but I’m already taking 3D immersive videos using my iPhone and viewing them in mixed reality on Meta Quest 3 This is one of the most WOW moments I’ve experienced with technology. Recorded memories are in pretty good quality, real size and 6DoF, meaning you can walk around it, get closer. And it’s clear that this is still far from being perfect, but I can feel the presence.
