But we have some photographers at our company who are really, really good. 🐯: They took such beautiful photos at Hobi hyung's concert, and I post them from time to time too. They're the people who always take such beautiful pictures of all the members. I wanted to work with them because, I just thought having us stand in a straight line for "Today's Bangtan" every time was so boring. 🐯: Seriously, it was just too boring. 🐯: So I thought, "This is way too plain. It's dull." I suggested that every day we'd come up with a different camera composition. Even if the members say they're busy or can't be bothered, there are people there who'll take the photos anyway, so let's stop lining up in a row. 🐯: Instead, let's make them more fun. 🐯: We put our heads together and brainstormed, and I shared a few ideas. 🐯: For example, one of the simplest ideas was you know manga covers? Apparently recreating modern manga cover poses has become a bit of a meme these days. 🐯: So I thought, "Why don't we try something like that?" We still have to deal with some stuff in Portugal though because we live there We ordered furniture and it arrived broken And it's almost the exact same experience every single time when you buy something in Portugal, the sales is excellent, they promise you the world and respond fast, they come to your house with beautiful iPad presentations "oh yes everything is possible" Then once you pay, things rapidly change They stop responding fast, or responding at all, the promised dates of delivery aren't made at all, things get delayed for weeks or many many months, and when things arrive at all, half the time (at least!) they arrive broken or wrong And then you're in a real sour spot because in Portugal after sales service literally just does not exist, like really, it does not exist, you simply won't be able to reach anyone, which is what we experience almost every single time here And before people say I'm making this shit up, these days I just screen record everything to prove you as I did with this furniture store In this case as you can see, the official after service phone line simply does not exist 😂 (very common in Portugal) and the main store doesn't ever pick up their phone either (also very common in Portugal!) I'm not a complainer, I'm a very positive optimistic guy But I hope it's a warning to anyone considering moving to Portugal It's a beautiful country and it has its merits, but Portuguese businesses are not one of them, and their culture of doing business is downright robbery "Take your money and disappear" is the motto!show more

Cursor vs Claude Code (day 3 of 30) today... I re-tested Conductor and I don't want to overhype this but... what the actual fook 😮 this thing is amazing! closest things to the "perfect workflow" I have seen in a long time, and it's something I could see myself use full-time it's so minimal and the polar opposite of Cursor but it has all the essentials → Claude Code + Codex subscriptions (= unlimited usage) → great integration with Claude Code's plan mode → multiple tabs with multiple agents at the same time → can use multiple models, not just one → great file tree and diff viewer → best git worktree support I've ever seen there's honestly so much more, like a dedicated "review" button (which you can pair to your favorite review model, e.g. gpt-5.2-extra-high), buttons to create and merge pull requests, to launch your dev server, ... this solves literally EVERY fault I can think of when using Claude Code and/or Codex, combining both into one easy UX that not only does everything the tools can do, but actually adds useful stuff on top just 6 months ago I couldn't have dreamt about any this and the wildest part is that IT IS FREE (I'd literally pay for this UX lol) first time I'm genuinely enjoying myself since starting this challenge not saying it's a full Cursor replacement yet, it obviously isn't for a lot of people (no browser, no debug mode, no code indexing, etc) ... but this is the closest thing I've seen yet 👀 follow for day 4!show more

Alhamdulillah, our trip today to the Al-Mawasi area was... beautiful and successful, but it also brought back so many memories and emotions. ♥️ We visited the home that opened its doors to Rafif’s family and welcomed us three different times during this war, without ever asking for anything in return. They received us with nothing but love, respect, and generosity. The first time was from December 2023 until April 2024. The second time lasted only one week, but it is a week that will remain in our memories forever, because Rafif was born during that week while we were in Al-Mawasi. After that, we returned once again. Our third displacement there lasted from May 2025 until April 2026, before we moved to central Khan Younis. No matter how many days or years pass, this family will always remain in our hearts. We will forever carry love and gratitude for them that words could never fully express. They opened their home to us during some of the hardest days of our lives and shared their space, safety, and whatever they had with us, asking for absolutely nothing in return. ❤️ No matter how much Rafif’s family tries to repay their kindness, what they did for us will always be far greater than anything we could ever give back. And to every person who has stood beside Rafif’s family, supported us, helped us, and kept us in their prayers throughout this war: you will also remain in our hearts, and we will never forget your kindness. You can show liberals changing their minds over time. But it's usually tied to some higher level intellectual discourse. Liberals redefine gender, but it takes studies, conferences, etc. The liberal going along with the current thing believes someone out there has the science that showed something new about the world. It wasn't like one Dear Leader said something and they shifted 180 degrees on everything. Agree with liberals or not, there's still something that at least aspires to an intellectual life on the left. There's tribalism and a herd instinct but I give them credit for at least trying to overcome our basest instincts. Conservatives don't have much in the way of newspapers or real journalists or studies they can at least point to in order to go through the motions of having opinions that seem well grounded in facts. Their method of understanding and communication is based on audiovisual content, not the written word. Healthy eating was associated with a black woman who we make fun of because she has big arms. Now it's an old man who takes shirtless selfies who is on our side. What's the proper role of government? Should FDA be more lenient with drug approval or shut it down? What to make of RFK being pro-choice, and what are the policy implications? None of that matters. It's intellectual consensus formed by memes and TV. We have 76 agents running side by side with our employees. A good example is in our call centers. We have Agent Wingman. I'm an aviator, so I think they named it because I like Wingman. Agent Wingman is going to save me nearly $1.6 million this year, has decreased our call handle time 10 percent this year, 50 percent reduction in after-call work times, and 40 percent reduction in held calls. So better experience for the member, remember they can go 8,000 other institutions, I want them to have a great experience each and every time with PenFed, it's got to be right each and every time. Yet I want my employees to do the knowledge work, building trust in the relationship, not entering what just happened on the phone call. We have agents that listen to the phone call, transcribe it. The human's still in the loop, they approve what was just talked about, but then it's 360 if the transaction occurred in the branch, web, mobile. So the next person that deals with that consumer, that member, they know exactly the relationship. They know what we might want to sell them next or what they need next for their daughter, their graduation. So it's creating a hyper-personalized, omni-channel experience without having 400 people I need to meet with. What #Villains mean to Gunil: 🐹 The very first... thing that came to mind is... you're like stars. When everything feels dark, you make the night beautiful. You become my light. And among stars, my favorite constellation is the Big Dipper, and my favorite star is Polaris (the North Star). You're that kind of presence to me. Always staying in the same place, always shining your light on me without ever changing. 🐹 And honestly, one thing I'm especially grateful to Villains for is that... I'm really just an ordinary person. There's nothing particularly extraordinary about me. I'm just the same as anyone else. But despite that, you all support me and love me. There are people who tell me they've found strength through my drumming. 🐹 The fact that I can be that kind of person for all of you... I'm so thankful for that. Ever since I was little, it was always my dream to stand on stage. But even in college, until I was about twenty-two or twenty-three years old, around my third year of university, I didn't have many opportunities to perform. There were so many classmates who were better than I was. I did a lot of recording, but back then, I was just someone who watched other people stand on stage. I could only look on with admiration.
