We get compared to TrueSky, PSA, and others a... lot, but honestly, we're not trying to be them... Sky Plus was built to give you full intuitive control over your sky without the bloat or complexity. Lightweight (only 3mb), procedural, works in both EEVEE & Cycles. You get full controls over the sun, moon, stars, atmospherics, day/night cycles, and all the detail you need without feeling overwhelming. Just drag and drop from the asset library and it's yours to customize however you want. No addon means no locked down controls; plug your own nodes in, break it apart, remix it. We don't override your render settings, it's real-time, and you'll never deal with broken updates when Blender changes. Sky Plus isn't "our sky" - it's your sky, built exactly how your project needs it. --------------------- With tiers starting at $7, $20, and $50—we wanted to make sure powerful sky tools were actually accessible to everyone, and not just another high ticket wishlist. On top of that, we're having a 40% Off sale this week, so don't miss out on that! 🥰 #blender #blender3d #b3d Superhive (formerly Blender Market)show more

You can make ~$𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 / 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 on Polymarket with... 𝗭𝗘𝗥𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗞 No alpha leaks. No narratives. Just math + patience. Example market👇 #1 free app in the US App Store on Jan 9 > ChatGPT YES ≈ 94% This market comes back every single week. And week after week, ChatGPT resolves YES. Why? Simple. > It’s default software now > Daily usage is insane > Apple keeps featuring it > No random app stays #1 long enough to matter For this to lose, a brand-new app would need to: > Go viral nationwide > Beat ChatGPT > Hold #1 through the snapshot That barely happens. Still, you don’t have to guess. But before betting, open Appfigures. Live App Store rankings and public data tool. If ChatGPT is sitting at #1 → Polymarket is late → edge exists. That’s it. > Buy YES at 0.94 > Resolve at 1.00 > +6% per cycle 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁: > $100 > $106 > $112 > $119 > $126 > $134 > $142 > $150 > $159 > $169 > $179 > $190 > $201 12 wins to double any size position. That’s roughly 3 months doing nothing fancy. If you enter right after market creation, odds are often better (8-15% per turn). This is how people quietly scale size on Polymarket. EllesmereUI's Biggest Patch since Raid Frames is live! Aug... Evokers since Blizzard won't give you an active state on your CDM for Ebon Might, I decided to give you one. check out the video! This feature also allows trinkets/pots/racials to get custom active states Players who share profiles: you can now include your full spell layout (which spells go where) and per-spell settings for CDM when exporting profiles! ----------- Full patch notes with new features and bugfixes: **Profiles:** - **NEW:** Profile exports can now carry your entire Cooldown Manager setup - which spells sit on which bars plus every per-spell setting - for the specs you choose, so importing a profile recreates your CDM layout instantly. **CDM:** - **NEW:** Give any trinket, potion, racial, or custom spell an Active State that adds its own glow and color while active, plus a Cooldown State Effect that changes its look based on whether it's ready. - **NEW:** Sync your trinkets, potions, and racials across specs with one button so you only set them up once. - Sound pickers for Focus Cast Sound and per-buff Audio Effect now have a search box. - Pandemic glow's Apply to All now also syncs tracking bars and keeps the same glow style everywhere. - A trinket, potion, or racial already on another bar now auto-moves to the new bar instead of being grayed out. - A buff saved under two spell IDs now shows as a single icon in the buff bar preview. - Cooldowns you remove from Blizzard's Cooldown Manager now disappear from your previews, while trinkets, racials, and custom spells are kept. - Added tracking for the Nightborne racial (Arcane Pulse), which was missing from the racial list. **Tracking Bars:** - **NEW:** Grouped bars now pack together with no blank gaps, always filling the next available slot. - Eclipse (Solar) and Eclipse (Lunar) now each drive their own bar. - Switching specs while the page is open now refreshes the selected bar correctly. - Pandemic glow now fires for Lifebloom on you or a group member. **Resource Bars:** - **NEW:** A new GCD Bar fills over your global cooldown, with full control over size, position, color, and look. - Expand Power Bar if No Resource now also expands when the class resource is toggled off or disabled for the spec. - Fixed the threshold color not showing with Enhance 5 Bar Style. - The cast bar latency overlay now reads live latency, so spell queueing no longer stops it showing. **Raid Frames:** - **NEW:** New healer tools including heal-absorb text, a crowd-control glow on debuffs, and more ways to position and highlight dispellable debuffs. - The Auto Resize toggle is now a dropdown that scales Indicators & Auras and Tracked Buffs independently with frame size. - New Show Over Dispels toggle lifts the heal-absorb overlay above the dispel gradient. - Fixed custom (non-20-player) sizes loading at the wrong position after login. **Unit Frames:** - **NEW:** A non-tank threat border shadows your player frame when you pull or hold aggro, with Has Aggro and Close to Aggro colors. - **NEW:** Player health text gains Heal Absorb Amount and Heal Absorb Short options. - **NEW:** Mini frames and Boss frames gain a per-frame Bar Texture dropdown. - **NEW:** Boss frames gain a Hover Borders control with its own mouseover and target colors. - **NEW:** Independent Spacing X and Spacing Y sliders for buff and debuff icons. - **NEW:** Absorb and heal-absorb style dropdowns now include your installed SharedMedia textures (also on Raid Frames and Nameplates). - A new Hover Borders control lets you turn the mouseover highlight border on or off per frame. - New Show 2 for Boss option adds a second decimal to boss frame health text. - Buff and debuff Offset X/Y sliders now reach plus or minus 1500. - A new Cast Bar Position cog adds an Offset Y slider for the boss cast bar. - Player, target, and focus cast bars now show above other frames instead of behind them. - Cast bar timer text now has room so it no longer cuts off early. **Action Bars:** - **NEW:** A new When Not Dragonriding visibility mode hides a bar while skyriding and shows it the rest of the time. - The When Dragonriding option now also shows the bar in Druid Flight Form. - The stance bar now shows its GCD swipe even for spells that don't change form. - Bars are briefly forced visible while Myslot's window is open to stop a stall during import/export. **Minimap:** - **NEW:** Hovering the calendar button now shows your raid and dungeon lockouts with boss progress, server time, and time until the weekly reset. - The Omnium Folio button no longer goes missing or drifts after a loading screen, and its position and scale now persist. **Mythic+ Timer:** - **NEW:** A new Show Time Remaining toggle adds an MM:SS countdown to the +2/+3 threshold row that reddens as time runs out. - Fixed timer and detail text cutting off after a font swap. **Colors:** - **NEW:** A new Global Colors section lets you share one profile's custom colors across all profiles or give each profile its own. **Localization:** - **NEW:** Full Russian language support. **Auras, Buffs & Consumables:** - Warrior stance reminders now read the stance bar, so each spec is reminded of its correct stance and clears the moment it's active. - The Inky Black Potion reminder now clears after you drink the potion and reappears on cancel, expiry, or death. - The last-used flask, food, and weapon-enchant preference now saves correctly. **Nameplates:** - A new sync icon on the Pandemic Glow Style row applies the nameplate's pandemic glow to all CDM and tracking bars at once. **Chat:** - The Whisper Sound dropdown gained a search box. **Bags:** - Mythic Keystone dungeon abbreviations now split on hyphens (Nexus-Point Xenas shows as NPX) and handle localized names.show more

Elon Musk's new interview with The Economist, and his... views on AI taking over all digital jobs. "I do think it is going to be a bumpy road because AI will be able to do any job better than any person can do that job. That will very quickly become true for jobs that are digital, or really anything that involves a person working on a computer or a phone. AI will be able to do all of that very soon. For software engineering, we already have a situation where AI is better at writing software than at least 90% of humans, including 90% of professional software engineers. It is getting to the point where AI will be better than 99% of people. Eventually, it will reach a stage where there is simply no way for humans to compete." --- From "The Economist" YouTube channel, (full video link in comment)show more

Chat GPT + Polymarket = $1,000 / week And... no, this is NOT about trading bots This is a PASSIVE strategy most people ignore Here's how to profit where almost nobody is looking: Let's take this one as example. #1 free app in the US App Store by January 16th ChatGPT YES is trading around 95% again. This market resets every single week. And almost every week, it resolves YES. Why this keeps working is simple. ChatGPT is now a part of our daily life. Daily usage is massive. Apple keeps featuring it. No random competitor holds #1 long enough. For this market to lose, all of this must happen fast: > A new app goes viral nationwide > It beats ChatGPT > It holds #1 exactly at the snapshot That almost never happens. So you don’t guess - you bet based on history AND VERIFY. Before betting, open Appfigures (or any other service like this). Live App Store rankings, public data. If ChatGPT is still #1 and Polymarket hasn’t fully repriced, the edge already exists. That’s the trade. You simply buy $1 for $0.95 That’s a 5% edge on something that resolves weekly. And this is where most people completely misjudge it. A 5% edge doesn’t feel exciting until you look at repetition. Even bonding at $0.99 still implies ~36% annualized. That’s not risking $10k to make $10. That’s turning time into yield. You’re not predicting growth. You’re getting paid to wait. Repeat it weekly, compound it, and suddenly: > $100 becomes $200 in ~12 clean cycles > Size scales without stress > Variance stays low If you enter right after market creation, pricing is often even better (some traders sniped YES at $0.79) This is how people quietly build size on Polymarket. Same market. Same math. New date. Polymarket doesn’t reward excitement, but patience and structure. Market link: [show more

Instinct in group chats Starting today, early access users... can add Instinct to group chats. A new Instinct joins and works for the whole group. Making plans with friends usually turns into a frustrating back-and-forth over times and places. With Instinct in the group, you can explore options together, agree on a plan and get it done, all in one thread. Your friends don't even need Instinct to join in. A few things it’s good at: - Planning a weekend trip with friends, including dates and arrival times - Coordinating logistics with a roommate - Getting tickets as soon as they go on sale, then splitting the cost and sending one to everyone - Running a fantasy league, keeping standings, settling rules disputes, and reminding everyone to set their lineups - Sorting out carpool schedules - works out who’s driving each day from everyone’s schedules - Organizing Thanksgiving, keeping track of who’s bringing what and ordering the shopping list Group chats are new territory for Instinct, and we put a lot of care into getting the permissions right. Here’s how it works: - Your personal Instinct asks before connecting with the group’s Instinct. You choose which groups to trust and can remove trust at any time. - The group’s Instinct has no direct access to your personal accounts. Your Instinct checks your permissions before sharing information or taking action. - If someone new joins the group, all pending replies from your Instinct are held until you grant it permission to share with the expanded group. Group chats are available to all of our early access users, and will be rolling out to everyone soon. To join early access for this release, ask your Instinct to put you on the list. GeoLibre v2.3.0 is here! GeoLibre is a free and... open-source, lightweight, cloud-native GIS platform for visualizing, exploring, and analyzing geospatial data. It runs everywhere you do, in the web browser, on the desktop, on mobile, and inside Jupyter notebooks, all while keeping your data local and private. This release brings a legend that writes itself from your symbology, a new GeoLens catalog browser, and 200+ GeoLibre Rust geoprocessing tools running entirely in the browser. What's new in v2.3.0 - Automatic on-map Legend: the legend builds itself from your visible layers, with class rows for graduated, categorized, rule-based, and expression styling, gradient bars for heatmaps and raster colormaps, and land-cover labels from a Raster Attribute Table. Rename, hide, reorder, or add your own entries, and it saves with the project. - Symbology swatches in the Layers panel: every row shows a dot, line, square, or image glyph in the layer's own color, so a tall layer stack reads at a glance. - GeoLens catalog browser: connect to a self-hosted GeoLens server, search its catalog, and add datasets as vector tiles, GeoJSON, or rendered raster tiles. - Emerging Hot Spot Analysis: build a space-time cube from timestamped points and classify every cell as a new, intensifying, persistent, diminishing, sporadic, oscillating, or historical hot or cold spot, all client side. - Mosaic time series: the Time Slider now steps through MosaicJSON and STAC collections of many COGs per date, on either a GPU or a WASM rendering engine. - Copy and paste layer styles: give a whole set of layers one consistent look without restyling each in turn. - Shareable tool links: deep-link any Whitebox tool with a ?tool= URL that opens the dialog preselected and pre-fills the form, with a Copy link button to build it for you. - Smarter data loading: pick which layers to load from a multi-layer GeoPackage, import CSVs whose coordinates are in any projected CRS, and read a raster's real CRS, pixel size, and extent from the metadata dialog. - Multiple AI profiles: define several provider, model, and credential setups, pick a default, and switch between them from the assistant panel. Excited to announce UtilitySat, the world’s first multi-mission geostationary... satellite, that we're launching at the end of this year. This is a first of its kind. And a new product line-- providing on-demand connectivity for disaster relief, bridge capacity, and other missions. We started Astranis to build something new: small communications satellites that provide dedicated broadband capacity for our customers. At the end of this year we’re launching four more of them on a dedicated Falcon 9 rocket, with many more to come after that. That launch of four satellites includes one satellite for Peru, two satellites for in-flight connectivity, and a fourth satellite that had been previously kept under wraps. Until now. Introducing UtilitySat, the Swiss Army Knife of satellites This is a new product— the world’s first multi-mission commercial GEO satellite, capable of conducting multiple fully-operational broadband connectivity missions. And it is just the first of many. We’ll plan to launch many UtilitySats in the years to come. UtilitySat can provide connectivity on standard Ku, Ka, and Q/V bands, and has the flexibility to dial in exact frequencies using Astranis’s proprietary ultra-wideband software-defined radio. It can also relocate dozens of times around the GEO belt over its lifetime. It does this using our unique on-board dual-propulsion architecture, which includes both a chemical monopropellant system and an electric ion thruster. A new mission every year, or every month When we first began development of UtilitySat almost 2 years ago, we had many different missions in mind. UtilitySat can serve as bridge capacity for a customer that is waiting for a dedicated satellite, as an on-orbit spare, or as extra, surge capacity that can be brought in to supplement the broadband service we’re providing to one of our customers. There are acute needs as well — a natural disaster can wipe out terrestrial connectivity over a huge geographic area. One of the top priorities for first responders and during disaster relief is reliable comms on the ground. With multiple UtilitySats on orbit, Astranis can bring in extra capacity on incredibly short notice. Capacity that is compatible with existing, low-cost GEO ground terminals. In initial conversations with customers for UtilitySat, we’ve seen huge demand — these customers often want to lease the entire capacity of the satellite once they learn what UtilitySat can offer. Customers need all the capacity they can get, and new capacity that can be deployed on short notice is a huge deal and a huge departure from traditional GEO satellites. We see a future where customers will be able to call up extra capacity on demand to augment their existing capacity needs, and we’re making that future a reality. US Government applications The first UtilitySat mission will be a commercial one, but we are seeing enormous demand from both from commercial companies and from our government customers. The US Government has unique needs — Combatant Commanders need to be able to task dedicated satellites to specific AORs at a moment’s notice — and surge communications would give them a new tool in their toolbox, helping them win even in a contested environment. And more broadly speaking our military leaders have said the one priority in national security space is to add resiliency to our fleets, using larger numbers of smaller, flexible, and maneuverable satellites so we’re not dependent on just a handful of huge satellites in GEO. UtilitySat shows that Astranis can do just that. Not traditional GEO satellites UtilitySat is only possible because of Astranis’s unique technology — including our proprietary software–defined radio. The flexibility of having on-board digital signal processing allows us to build a standardized satellite design, and move a lot of what used to be done in hardware, into software. UtilitySat uses the standard Astranis MicroGEO platform, adding more frequency bands and some new software capabilities to make maximum use of the available spectrum, no matter where the satellite is on orbit. Traditional geostationary satellites are designed to sit in one orbital slot for up to 20 years, with a set of frequency bands that is hardwired in at the factory. Their single mission must be predetermined many years before they are launched. Astranis does not build traditional GEO satellites. From day one we knew there had to be a better way, and we’re doing it.show more
