Claude Mobile starts the idea... Ghostty finishes it I... basically use Claude Mobile as a notepad now. Whenever something comes to mind, I open the app, pick a repo, and ask Claude to start exploring. Then I just let it run while I go on with my day. Later I jump into Claude Desktop and I’m right back in the same session, with context, structure, and a clearer shape of the idea. I tweak a few things to set up the coding phase. Finally, one click to Ghostty (video), open a couple of worktrees, and start working on the PR. Spent a fantastic two days at the Circuito de... Navarra in Spain. Mostly dry and a great technical circuit. I was driving a McLaren 720s GT3 Evo with Garage59. It was great to be back with a team that I have a strong history with. I was rusty to start, it’s been a few years out of a GT3 but very happy with where we ended up after two days of testing. Just a few hours from now, I’ll be seeing... President Trump here in Chippewa Falls. Sitting here with my family, it’s hard not to reflect on how unexpected this journey has been. Not long ago, I was standing before my school board in New Richmond, speaking out because I believed girls deserved privacy, fairness, and equal opportunities. I wasn’t trying to make headlines. I just didn’t want girls to lose the protections that generations of women fought to secure. Today, I’m here representing so many girls who feel the same way. Grok Build is seriously addictive. I can't put it... down. I had my 8-year-old nephew build a game with it, Starship Breakthrough. He sent all the prompts himself; I just gave a little guidance on the side. He knows zero code, and when he finished his first real game, he was over the moon. One tip: when you start a new project in Grok Build, don't have it execute right away. Say "I want to build a ___, design it first, then build it." Let it lay out a plan, you review it, then it executes — the results come out noticeably more solid. Everyone should give it a try.show more

004/100 Buttons. A bit of the process on building... an animation. When looking at a finished animation or in this example a finished button, it can look quite complex inside the CSS. But when building it, it’s more like a lot of simple steps, one after another. Here I had the idea to make some kind of text animation like the footer logo on the Osmo site. I try to add the base animation with no complex easing, for example transition: translate 0.4s ease. Starting with just moving the one text from bottom to top and the other text to top. Adding a stagger, play around with it. Searching for a way to make it more circular. On the research I found the sin() function inside CSS which can build a more smooth non linear curve for the stagger which creates this circular effect. And step by step adding more complexity like, different easing for hover/hover-out, opacity, 3D transform and more. I use also the sin() function to rotate the letters, so the middle ones are getting more rotated than the outer ones. Another thing which helps is to add a small delay on hover, for example 0.05s or 0.1s, you don’t really see the difference, but when you hover pretty fast on and out it doesn’t get that jumpy. I’m using here GSAP’s SplitText to split every char into spans. And then I’m adding a CSS index variable to every span, starting from the center. SplitText can provide CSS index variables, but you cannot tell it from which direction. For the sin() it’s also important to have a max length, so I add another CSS variable with the max char number on it. Crafting 100 Buttons with Osmo ⏳ Total time: 63hshow more
