In short, they care about him, value what he has done for the organization, and are allowing him to weigh his options and decide if he wants to come back in a different role. Philadelphia, & their entire front office, are a class org. They value people, respect them, and treat them right. They also know what he has meant to their 2 Super Bowls runs, despite not working out at OC. The players who praised him all season and after the wild-card loss do so with sincerity. It is not lip service or professionalism. They genuinely respect him. Almost every player was asked about him after their loss, nobody wavered in their praise for him. 𝐔𝐍𝐋𝐕 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝, “𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐲.” 🗣️ Over the last... few years, UNLV has become one of the real powers of ACHA Division I men’s hockey. They’ve also aggressively scheduled NCAA schools for exhibition games. NCAA teams only have so many slots for exhibitions and have often filled those with Canadian universities or the National Team Development Program. They can even schedule fellow NCAA Division I teams for games that don’t count. UNLV, however, has been given the opportunity on multiple occasions to play NCAA schools. So have other ACHA schools. Just last year, Minot State traveled to Denver and lost 9-3. This felt a bit different though. This was Denver coming off of a national championship, ranked in the top 10 in the NCAA this season and with 11 NHL Draft picks available to them. What happened on Saturday night doesn’t say much about Denver, even though they may have woken up a bit embarrassed by the result. It does, however, say a ton about what UNLV is doing and what the ACHA is offering players. Most people who play hockey get a very finite amount of time to play at a highly-competitive level. When youth hockey is over at 18, if you’re not good enough or don’t want to play junior hockey or you did and didn’t secure a scholarship, there are very few places to go. The ACHA is one of those places. It allows players to extend their playing days longer. In many programs, the players are paying to play. Some will do fundraisers, others get some funding from a school’s recreational or club budget, and some have other ways to get money. This is one of the points raised by Algeria... following their defeat to Nigeria yesterday. According to the Algerian camp, referee Issa Sy showed a lack of respect and sportsmanship toward their players. They claim that after the final whistle, the manner in which he shook hands with Algerian players was noticeably different from how he greeted the Nigerian players. As a southpaw, Rebecki was hopping to the outside... angle to line up his left. Orolbai's corner kept telling him to "pull", hoping he could hop back to take away the angle and then counter. But he's not really fast enough for that, so what worked better was planting in place and preempting the left with an uppercut from the inside angle.show more

Don’t be like this player. So many players still... don’t use boost efficiently, even though boost management is the most important skill in the game. A good guideline is to save boost for when you’re making a play on the ball and use your movement to get to the ball. Here is a player who uses all of his boost to chase the ball, and when he ends up low on boost, he keeps chasing anyway. This leads to him bumping his teammate and giving up an easy goal.show more

Well they pay them to play and a lot. This just started this year. Why this is really bad. Many small market teams sales and economy generated rely on star players and contracts that pay the teams large sums in development money. Well not any more. You can imagine now with new NCAA rules the Canadian teams are all losing the best players at an alarming pace. And the economy with it.
