Saw Joe Brady take charge during his first practice... as Bills head coach. A few changes from the previous regime: •Practice seemed to focus more so on load management/recovery than in recent years. Extended break at midpoint of practice, abbreviated team sessions, only two days before first off day instead of three like previous years, etc. •Offense wore blue practice jerseys and defense wore white. Another adjustment from the Sean McDermott era Interested to see what Day 2 bringsshow more

Mobility is as important as, if not more important... than, your strength training sessions. From improving overall movement quality and lowering injury risk to enhancing performance and recovery. Those are only a few movements, yet so beneficial. Do it on days off or to prep yourself before the workout. Even 5 minutes a day can make a noticeable difference over time.show more

JJ Redick on Dalton Knecht, who's entering his 3rd... season with the Lakers, and his approach to training camp: "First of all, he's been a pro. He's been in the gym. Like he has since Day 1, he has worked his butt off all offseason. And he's had a good three days of practice. So I don't think his approach changes. I know he's hungry to play and hungry to earn a spot in the rotation."show more

Boo-Hoo: Islam's Latest Tantrum! During a soccer match held... in Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo's decision to make the sign of the cross ignited Islamic outrage. This act has dangerous significance in a Muslim region where Christian practices are illegal. In Islamic Saudi Arabia, the consequences of openly practicing Christianity are severe – individuals may face arrests, imprisonment, torture, and deportation due to their faith. (Meanwhile, the West continues to import millions of these Sharia-adherent Muslims) The incident occurred during a tense match, specifically in the 75th minute of the team's August 9 clash against Iraq's Al Shorta SC in the league's semi-final. Following a successful penalty kick, Ronaldo executed the familiar gesture of crossing himself, a practice he has engaged in on numerous occasions in Non-Islamic countries. Read:show more

Moeen Ali 🗣️: Usman Tariq, why do so many... batters make chucking gestures at you during matches? Do you deliberately pause in your bowling action? Usman Tariq 🗣️: Yes, some players like Tom Banton, Cameron Green and Tim David have done that. But it is not a player's job to question a bowler's action on the field. That responsibility belongs to the on-field umpires and match officials, not the players. I have two bone corners in my elbow, which makes it difficult for my arm to fully straighten, so it naturally remains slightly bent. That's why many people misunderstand my bowling action. My bowling action has been cleared twice in biomechanical testing, and I hope this controversy is now over.show more

⚽️👇 Activity Description Below This is a Breaking Lines... practice from Drill Library. In this drill, players work on breaking defensive lines through quick ball movement and intelligent positioning. The aim is to find and pass to two teammates who are positioned beyond the opposition’s defensive line, replicating scenarios that occur in real match situations. The setup includes 3 players in possession versus 3 defenders in a locked central grid. The 3 attackers must circulate the ball quickly, using clever movement and combination play to disrupt the defensive structure. The team shape resembles a 2-3-3-2, with 3 defenders trying to block access while 2 target players wait beyond the line to receive a penetrating pass. ✅ Click below to view 700+ specialised & adaptable training activities ↙️ 💻show more

Anthropic has introduced an update to Claude Managed Agents,... releasing several powerful new features designed to improve agentic workflows and autonomy. 🔹Dreaming (Research Preview): Agents can now "dream" by reviewing past sessions during idle time. This process extracts patterns, spots recurring mistakes, and curates memories so the agent continually learns and improves over time without human intervention. 🔹Outcomes (Public Beta): This feature allows developers to set a specific quality bar by writing a rubric. A separate grader agent then evaluates the output, forcing the primary agent to iterate on the work until it meets the defined success criteria. 🔹Multiagent Orchestration (Public Beta): A lead agent can now break down complex jobs and delegate specific tasks to specialized sub-agents, which work in parallel to execute the broader objective. 🔹Webhooks (Public Beta): Users can subscribe to webhooks to receive automatic notifications the moment an agentic task is completed.show more

If you think pre season is a joke then... you have no idea how difficult it is for players to stay in shape and most of this training are connected to how the team wants to play during the season. This is what the first few days in the pre season looks like and medicals like blood test, flexibility check, mobility test, VO2Max test, and the heart test to see if the heart is healthy. My personal view on pre season test is that I hated the VO2Max test and if you are not fit enough the pass the test which usually last for just 15 minutes. When I was at Vitesse Arnhem and Red star Belgrade my medicals took 3days to be completed and it was the longest I ever had. If you don't take your off season trainings seriously you will be exposed on the first day of pre season test and you will be in trouble with the coach.show more

Chop the gradients ✂️! We found that truncating decoder... gradients in latent video diffusion to a fixed window allows us to finetune on videos with pixel-wise perceptual losses without running out of memory. Pixel losses have been essential for image generation and reconstruction, but until now, they haven't scaled to long-duration, high-resolution video diffusion due to recursive activation accumulation in causal decoders, leading to OOM during training 💥📉. Project: Video diffusion models can do a lot more 🚀 when you can backprop the decoder! Post-process neural rendered scenes, super-resolve videos, harmonize lighting in controlled synthetic driving scenes, and inpaint videos — all in a single step ⚡ with a quick finetune from a standard diffusion model.show more

You do not need to be in the gym... six days a week. Doing so will reward you with worse progress, not more. Here's why: Fatigue accumulates. Not just from session to session. From week to week. From month to month. The hard leg session on Monday leaves a tax that has not been fully paid by the time you're back under a bar on Tuesday. Multiply that across six sessions and you are walking into every workout pre-fatigued. The first casualty is your high threshold motor units. The fibres with the most growth potential. The ones recruited only when the muscle is fresh enough to call on them with real load. Train under accumulated fatigue and those fibres never get touched. You're left stimulating the lower threshold fibres you maxed out years ago. Two rest days a week should be the bare minimum for anyone training hard. Three is better. Four sessions of about an hour each is not the maintenance protocol the high-volume crowd will tell you it is. It is the optimal dose for a natural lifter who wants to actually grow. Four hours of lifting a week. Four. That's it. The best physiques in your gym are almost always built on less work than the worst. The volume bros sweat five hours a week for a body the four-hour man built while still having time to read a book. More is not the answer. Recovered is.show more
